Professional courteous installation team. Knew what they were doing, a clean installation and left the site just like they found it. I did not have to do any cleanup. We are already enjoying the benefits of the awning and Solar Shades. Chris is great to work with and knows how to satisfy the customer. I recommend The Great Outdoors to anyone looking for an awning or solar shade.

The experience from beginning to end was nothing less than professional! All were exceptionally personable and friendly! The installation team did an excellent job and not a speck of dirt was left behind! My husband and I highly recommend this business!!

Poor communication.

Their workmanship was slow but very good. I had a problem getting responses to when the project would start. Had to call more than once before someone called back with info.

The workers were very good. They did beautiful work and stayed much longer in intense heat to get it done. They were wonderful.

Our salesman was knowledgeable and professional. He worked great with our HOA and our timeline was on the spot. Price was fair. Work crews did a great job. They fixed some discrepancies without us saying anything. Cleaned up the area. Our deck looks great and we are very happy with the outcome.

My experience with this company was very positive. They had the best price, they started on the date promised and finished in the length of time they had said. They were very neat with respect to their keeping the work area clean each day. I will probably hire them again, for another project we have this fall.

My husband and I just can't say enough good things about this company. From the time of receiving the estimate from Chris, through the completion of our project, every person we were in contact with were very knowledgeable, professional and couldn't have been nicer. Chris, our contact, took the time to explain the project in great detail. Our deck is absolutely gorgeous. The gentlemen that did the work really took pride in what they were doing. Even the supervisor, Emelio, as well as the young lady that worked with him were very kind and helpful. We will definitely hire The Great Outdoors for our projects in the future.

Great team, easy to work with. On time, clean, great follow-up. We could not be happier that we chose The Great Outdoors to install an awning over out patio.

Not happy! I was told by the salesman that it was automatic tilt, I also mentioned to him of the winds I get living next to a corn field. I just today used my awning for the first time with little wind it went back in. I feel that being an honest salesman he would of told me that it wasn t a good idea, he also told me that it was his mistake as far as the automatic tilt and that I would be compensated well that never happened. I feel I was taking advantage of being a widow as far as I m concern thousands of dollar down the drain.

Not happy with there customer service and communication. Very good selling there business. Terrible at follow through in completing the project.

Lack of communication, lack of materials, no show up, delay on the project completion time are some of the bad experiencing with this contractor. We are having a nightmare and we do not recommend this contractor to do any job.

Excellent sales rep and install teams. Their big competitive advantage is that they have an expert electrician who handles the motor s electrical connection as the first stage of the motorized awning install process. In my case this involved going behind the siding and up into the overhang soffit, thus keeping the new receptacle and the motor s cords out of the elements and out of sight. Soon after that work was done the awning team arrived on a different day to do the awning install itself. It was well worth the higher cost of the Great Outdoors awning to have the required electrical work included in the quote. ( Another awning vendor gave me a lower purchase/install quote but I would have had to find and hire an electrician myself and then try to coordinate timing and other details between the parties.) I preferred the Great Outdoors comprehensive business model and was pleased with their team s expertise, professionalism and promptness. It was a pleasure working with them. And I love my awning.
