Description of Work: Doing a great job keeping lawn green in the heat. Apparently spraying weed killer sround perimeter since there are fewer weeds than with prior lawn crew company. Call when they are coming or if postponed due to weather.

Description of Work: The company put down weed and fertilizer. When the owner first came around my coupon went from three applications to two which was ok, but it was the way he talked like I didn't know what we had discussed. As far as the worker who did the second application, he was very professional, and did a very good job. |

Description of Work: We were trying to get estimates for lawn care and it was impossible to just get an estimate from them. I guess they don't need business - we have a large property that would have been a big project. Would not trust them with a project after how difficult it was to get an estimate - which we never got. Used Lawn Doctor where i used to live and they were excellent - not this location.

Description of Work: We recently moved to our home. The original landscaping was a disaster. Green Lawns removed big, bulky bushes, a half dead hedge, and some trees and ugly terracing. Much of the lawn was replaced. New, easy-maintenance shrubs and plants were planted. I have a purple thumb and know nothing about plants. They were VERY knowledgeable and chose low maintenance plantings that are attractive. Many people in the neighborhood remarked upon the great improvement.

Description of Work: Purchaced this Angies List Special $149 for 2 Cubic Yards of Premium Mulch Delivered and Spread. Mr.Bill Sapp came out to my house promptly and gave me an estimate for additional mulch and services that I needed. The quote was fair and I agreed with Mr. Sapp.The two workers arrived on 6/23/14 that morning and began to work. The two workers did a very good job weeding out, bed preping, pruning and laying down the mulch. |The biggest problem I had was that I asked(twice)for the two workers to please remove some mulch that they had spilled while spreading the mulch around the house. The mulch was lying at the edges of the driveway and some areas outside on the grass just the beyond the well prepared mulched bed. Overall the job was done well and I was satisfied with the work that was done and would use and recommend Green Lawn LLC to anyone.

 + -1 moreTerrible, grass cut was worst I ever had, grass blown everywhere, areas not trimmed and clumps of grass left in patches and blown into neighbors yard.
Description of Work: yesterday was the worse I can remember. I took pictures that speak for themselves and sent them to to Green Lawns (and my neighbor contacted me about clumps of grass being blown onto their treated lawn. Grass was blown everywhere good thing my house was not pressure washed yet! Very dis-satisfied.

 + -1 moreI hired this company to do the work because I saw they had a good rating on Angie's List. I hired them from a distance (I live in PA) to do the work at my mother's home. We had a "miscommunication" I believe, that caused the company to return to the property to finish the job. They came back and did the work we requested and actually went "above and beyond the call of duty". Mr. Sapp was always professional and honest in his dealings with me. Also, his company was the first to respond to my requests for estimates. I would trust them to do a fine job for others.
Description of Work: The work requested was to do some property clean-up and remove all fallen leaves on the property, as well as cut back willd growth of weeds and "junk growth" on the patio. They also offered to do a final mowing of the yard.

Description of Work: I had extensive work done in April which I have reported (see report dated April 22, 2011). Since that time, GreenLawn Services has come out to replace several plants that died as the result of voles, put down grub repellant, taken care of leaf removal this fall (three times), filled in stone paved walkway with river grave and mulched around all the plants. They even discovered several holes in my garage roof which was threatening to rot a couple of wooden beam and repaired them with metal patches and caulk.

Excavation, framing of walkways and completion of wet gravel fill were done the first day as well as the delivery of materials needed for overall project. Staff cleaned up the woods and yard areas of branches and twigs and started blowing leaves from the front lawn into the woods and took up old posts and fences. With the use of a Kabota machine all the old bushes in the front yard were dug up. On the second day. the walkways were covered with sand, tamped down and were laid for most of the long walkway New plants were put in across the front of the house, ivy removed from the house, and the areas of dirt between the two walkways were burmed for the planting of two gardens. Everything was completed as planned on the last day with the addition of planting a small third garden and three red bud trees. There were 3-4 work men each day, each of whom were extremely conscientious, hard working, respectful, friendly and professional. They cleaned up everything and except for the wonderful transformation they created, one would never know they had been there. The work was outstanding and the outside of my home went from shabby to House Beautiful in the blink of an eye.
Description of Work: Installed long winding walkway through wooded property from garage to house, and small winding walkway from drive way to basement steps. Walkways were of large blue rock field stone which had to be creatively laid out, leveled and back filled with river gravel. Staff cleaned up three acres of yard and wooded property that had a year's accumulation of leaves and years of fallen twigs and branches. Old plants and bushes were taken out and new gardens put in the front and back of the house. New plants and three flowering trees were installed with mulch and some of the older trees and large bushes were pruned. Old fencing and posts were torn out, ivy cut back and removed from the sides of the house as well as a new post with small carriage lamp replaced by basement steps. I
