I've been working with Leyla and Denny since 2012-2013 when Leyla first represented me when I was a first-time home buyer and bought a condo in DC. She was extremely diligent, thorough, and attentive to detail - and never pushy. Everything with the home purchase went smoothly and she was top-notch with managing the lender and title office process. Fast forward to 2019-2020 and Leyla represented my wife and I when we bought a new house in Chevy Chase, MD. She was always available to help us visit homes during the evenings and weekends, and was often flexible with scheduling. After five months of home searching we finally find a house to buy and the process was very seamless. Leyla was very responsive with my wife and I, and with the seller's agent and represented our interests with the highest level of professionalism. They moved very quickly to get the condo staged and on the market. The staging of the condo was well-designed and aesthetically impressive. The listing website and photos for the sale was well-done too. Fortunately the condo sold in five days and that was without the benefit of an open house during the escalation of COVID-19. We had been working with Denny and Leyla for ~3 years and our experience was great. They were very patient with us when we started and stopped our search multiple times as our situation and needs kept changing. When my wife and I started looking to buy a new home in DC, we realized we needed help of experts who knew the current market and understood our needs. We could not have asked for more from Denny and Leyla -- this was our first time buying a house, and we cannot imagine going through the process without their help. We found our dream home after looking at many, many homes in the DC area, and Leyla was incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of buying a house in DC. I bought a house with this team and, despite the COVID-19 crisis surrounding us, we successfully got through some difficult negotiations with the seller — thanks to their help. I am also in the process of selling a house that I own via this team, which requires some significant renovations and other work in order by way of preparation. Without their help, I would not have been able to manage this. Again, their knowledge, creativity, insight, and perseverance are first class!

When my wife and I decided to sell our home and purchase a new one, we both instantly felt overwhelmed. Our house was in the middle of remodeling, when the contractor we hired ghosted us, leaving us with a half finished basement. We contacted Denny and Leyla, to discuss options on selling the house. They worked with us, and found a contractor who could finish the remodel, and use the proceeds from the sale to pay the contractor, once house sold. Denny and Leyla were life savers. The recommended contractor did a very good job in completing the work, and once the house was ready for the market, Denny and Leyla went all out to advertising the house, and provided a very good strategy to market, and sell it. With their efforts, the house sold within a month of listing. They are a great team, and they come highly recommended!

Working with Leyla was a dream. We just bought our first home, and she offered extraordinary support every step of the way. At our first meeting, Leyla offered a meticulous rundown of the vagaries of the D.C. market and the purchase process generally. She listened to our preferences, took us all over the city to view listings, and she was incredibly responsive. We begin this review of Leyla's work, with an assessment of my wife. She (my wife) tends to have high standards (her choice of husbands perhaps an exception). This year, when we chose to buy a home together, my wife wanted to once again work with Leyla. A good decision, on her part. Leyla made herself available based on our schedules and tailored our search based on our preferences. The Denny and Leyla Team was very sensitive to my needs in my home purchase. They were a great help to me in explaining the home buying process as this was my first home purchase. Denny & Leyla just completed the sale of a townhouse I owned in SW DC. I had used it as a rental for the last 12 years and there was a fair bit of wear and tear to the interior. They helped my find a good contractor and oversaw the repairs that we completed prior to listing the property for sale (I do not live in DC anymore so I was unable to oversee the rehab). They staged the home beautifully, helped us price it correctly and had it under contract within a week. They went above & beyond and I would definitely hire them again.

We've now both bought a home and sold a home with Denny and Leyla, and though we worked primarily with Denny, we know that Leyla was there supporting us through the process as well. We first met at Denny's office to go over the details of each place and he answered every question with great patience. Then we jumped into his car and started our visits. For each place, Denny provided the pros and cons and discussed with us how the apartment would best fit our needs (distance from work, public transportation, food shopping, safety, etc.). Several weeks before we scheduled our appointment to visit places, Denny suggested that we get preapproved for a mortgage, and provided a list of lenders that he recommends. After our tour, we decided to place an offer on a place, and everything went fast and smoothly.
