Description of Work: A written report, pictures, inspection and recommendations on the structure of my house. The purpose was to evaluate the settlement and step-crack on the corner of my house. I will follow Mr. Ohi recommendation.

Description of Work: Mr. Khan very professionally and courteously explained the issues concerning our house (cracks in walls and ceilings) and assured us these were not foundation issues. He recommended and explained solutions which he passed on to J.P. General Construction, LLC who did an outstanding job implementing Mr. Khan's recommended solutions. I also highly recommend using J.P. General Construction (Mr. Jaime Peredo).

Description of Work: We hired Mr. Ohi for a structural engineering report on a home we were buying. Overall, I would recommend him again. His prices did seem high to us, but that may be because we were moving from a less-expensive area of the country. He was fairly responsive, but we did have to email/call multiple times to get what we needed. But, we were on a tight time-frame for closing. Under more normal circumstances his normal response-time might be adequate.

Description of Work: We had Kamran come out to provide a second opinion on a sinking front porch. We had JES come out previously and provide options for repair, but wanted a second opinion on what seemed like a very high quote. Kamran was fantastic. Within a minute he provided great advice, and pointed us in alternative directions that were literally a third of the price. He even provided multiple contacts to perform the work if we were interested (both at rated "A" here on Angie's List). | |Offered to charge less than the normal rate since it was a quick visit. We declined and paid the usual amount and walked the house with him and talked about several additional areas of concern. He was very patient, very knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. $275 was a bargain for getting advice and guidance on multiple different areas of concern. | |Would, without hesitation, use for second (or first) opinions on any structural work that we have planned in the future.

Description of Work: Analyzed the foundation of the house to determine if expensive waterproofing would be needed. Showed up on time, looked over every issue that I had and gave unbiased advice

Description of Work: Kamran provided an evaluation of structural issues that were flagged in a home inspection and provided me with a report detailing what needed to be done to remedy the ones that had to be addressed and verification that some issues cited didn't require work. He was very punctual and professional. He called me to make sure that the report was exactly what I needed before he completed it. He even provided me with a referral for a contractor who handled the work. He provided great service and I would highly recommend him.

Description of Work: The inspection was very thorough. Mr. Ohi answered all my questions. After the job, Mr. Ohi has been working with my landscaping contractor to develop a plan to address the drainage problems completely.
