Description of Work: When I contacted them for an estimate they kept requesting my credit card number which I did not give to them, they called for days afterward requesting the credit card number saying they were scheduled to come out. Very very sketchy, when I was connected to their phone line they have a recording saying: you are being connected by Angie's List.

Description of Work: My house was very dusty/dirty & they let it fresh and clean. The task of cleaning wa OVER WHELMING for me and they tackled everything. They were very competent and professional. This particular team, I will request they again by name. I am very happy with this cleaning experience.

Description of Work: I highly recommend this company if one would like their home in an immaculate state. The lady's are not only polite but efficient and thorough. At this point I can not say that I woulfd ever think of changing my cleaning service. I have tried several, and when I say several I seriously mean several, cleaning companies and I have never been satisfied until now. The gentleman who own/run Elite cleaning service are always resonsive to my request and the ladies are consistent. In the past I have had services that where great the first time or two but Elite Cleaning does the best cleaning EVERYTIME. Finally Happy. And as my husband says a happy wife makes for a happy life. Description of Work: When I called Matt and mentioned that my tenant didn't notice that his apartment had been cleaned. He responded immediately and assured me that his crew would come back to 100% satisfaction. Great job!

Description of Work: Contacted Elite on Tuesday for a quick cleaning on a Wednesday. From the website, the quote was quick and responsive. Arranged for a cleaning at 10:30am. My wife arranged to work from home to allow for the cleaning. So at 11am on Wednesday, there was no cleaners or no phone call about status. So that is the reason for the "poor" review. I emailed the company to let them know. The response was they were sad to hear that we did not want their service that did not show up.

Description of Work: I have been very pleased with the service from Elite Cleaning. The same team now comes to my place every time. I have been very impressed with the quality of the cleaning, especially the initial top-to-bottom cleaning. The frustrations I have are with the team arriving at least 30 minutes late every time without any notification. I have also continually struggled to get in touch with Matt when I have had questions. Once I do get in touch with him he is responsive and very helpful. I would recommend them, with the one note that the team will most likely be late.

Description of Work: I called Elite, they were able to accommodate me the next day. They sent three ladies out and they worked like a happy team of bees. They did things as a routine, that most cleaning companies charge as extras. They cleaned the whole house top to bottom and it was squeeky clean. I am well pleased . I have already prescheduled an appointment for next month. My payment was $270 with a 10% credit.

Description of Work: I called Elite for the first time based on Angie's List reviews - to deep clean my 2 bedroom apartment which I was leaving and which I needed to prepare for a new tenant. They got me a same day appointment!! I was very impressed with their service and have used cleaning services in the past. They were punctual, friendly, professional, and efficient. Also, the price ($190 plus tip) for 3.15 hours wasn't bad for 2 cleaners. They also brought all their own supplies. I'm definitely going to use this company again.

Description of Work: Three people did the initial cleaning on our house. We are in a 1600 sq ft rowhouse in DC that needed a good deep cleaning, although the house is kept tidy. The crew did a great job, even cleaning the venetian blinds, ceiling fans, and really scrubbing the tiled floor in the basement that had seen a bit of flooding previously. The price was a bit higher than I was hoping, but considering the thorough job done, I'm satisfied that it was a fair price. Matt is very responsive and returns calls promptly, and also placed a reminder call the day before the service. Overall this is a very professionally run operation that we will continue to utilize.

Description of Work: I have never been a fan of professional cleaning services as, unlike a cleaning lady that works with you over a much longer period of time, it is difficult to know what you are going to get until --- in too many cases - you don't get it. Just too many variables on the people and service side. Who are these people coming in my home, how does their management treat them, what instructions have they been given, when is their next job, are they rushing to get done or focusing on doing the job right? It's my house, my stuff and I like to decide when/how and how thoroughly it is cleaned. Unfortunately, many cleaning businesses (for often sound reasons of thier own) try to cookie-cut their service and insist on things such as a full cleaning first. I didn't want this. Until I tursted the company and the firm - I wanted to decide if it was a quick clean or a thorough clean and what got cleaned. Why would I want strangers cleaning around vases on high shelves and other items that are precious to me? I don't care if they're bonded - I don't want things broken or a harsh cleaner inappropriately used. Matt from Elite Cleaning was willing to work with me, others were not. On the first (of what has now been 5) visits - 3 women arrived with the owner of Elite Cleaning and followed my instructions. The next time, I wanted to change how a few things got done. The time after that - some more. Elite Cleaining worked with me. Other firms - are in a rush to do it their way and though I admire how quickly some firms can speed through a house and clean it, it has not always been done the way I wanted. Moreover, other firms (a couple from this site) sent women who would get work calls and spend time in my house scheduling other appointments. I want them in and out as quickly as reasonably possible and don't appreciate these calls. In adidition to doing a thorough job, showing up on time and following up with me - Elite was the least expensive of the firms I have used. Go figure. $125 for a regular cleaning. And the women - in addition to being good - are pleasant and work hard to understand what and how I want things done. I highly recommend them and don't understand why other cleaning-service models are so inflexible.
