I recently had new floors and appliances installed in my 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home and I needed to have the place cleaned. I called Matt on a Friday afternoon to see if he had any weekend availability and he was able to give me a late afternoon appointment on Saturday. Matt and crew arrived and began work immediately. From the ceiling fans to the baseboards, the 3 ladies scrubbed everything and did an incredible job. I have already recommended the company to a few friends and family.

Showed up on time, worked diligently, even did some work that was beyond their paid scope at no additional charge. Will certainly use again for our periodic cleaning needs!

I took advantage of the Angie's List Deal offered by Elite. They were prompt, courteous and were able to make the appointment that suited my work schedule. Thank you for sending such a wonderful team of ladies to my home. Vera

The house was cleaned in its entirety while we were gone during the day. When we got home in the afternoon, Elite has already been there and the house looked great.

This was a "Big Deal" from Angie's list and was a very worthwhile and satisfactory experience.

We bought a cleaning special via Angie's List for $99 for a 3-bedroom house. Our house is actually 2 bedrooms but we have a loft office, so we counted that as a 3rd bedroom. My husband was home to let the two women in. Since we have two dogs, he asked them to clean the basement first while he took the dogs for a walk. Then when he returned, they'd finished the basement so he stayed down there with the dogs in order to stay out of their way. He said they worked hard the whole time and he was pleased with their work. I came home and loved what I saw! The house looked so good..even felt bigger since it was so clean. The owner called my husband afterward to see what we thought and he said that would normally cost close to $300 because of the size of the house (about 1900 sq ft. -- or maybe because there was a fair amount of dog hair around.) The only thing they didn't do that I thought they would was to dust a ceiling fan over the bed in the master bedroom. They did a good job cleaning the floors but no one can match my husband for vacuuming carpets! The carpets look NEW after he vacuums and they just looked VACUUMED after they did them. But...I won't loan out my husband to vacuum! The bathrooms and kitchen looked great, too. The owner called my cell phone the next day to make sure I was happy with their service as well. I'd definitely recommend Elite Cleaning Service.

I read the reviews on Angie's List, and this seemed like an easy choice as the company to use for a "move-out" cleaning of our 1 bedroom condo. I called, and was able to make an appointment promptly. After discussion with the person on the phone, we scheduled a cleaning, and I was told the crew would arrive between 4:00 and 5:00 on the day of the cleaning. I gave the person I spoke with two phone numbers - my cellular and my fiancee's cellular. This part is key - the person I spoke with called and confirmed the appointment with me the next day. He also called and confirmed with my fiancee. Two confirmation calls to two separate numbers. I was out of town on the day of the cleaning, but my fiancee had made arrangements to be at the condo to let the cleaning crew into the unit. Unfortunately, the crew missed the 4:00-5:00pm window by 45 minutes, showing up at the condo at 5:45. No phone calls, no advance warning, no notice of any type that they'd be late. Living in the DC area, I understand traffic is a fact of life and sometimes things go longer than expected, but still - a phone call goes a long ways when making plans at a busy time of year. We didn't get any notice of any type, so my fiancee arrived at the condo at 3:45 and waited two hours for the crew to arrive. When the crew arrived, they went to work. A few days later, when I went to take a look at their work, it was a mixed bag. Some parts of the condo looked excellent. The stove, microwave, and refrigerator were immaculate. The bathroom looked terrific. For the most part, a quick glance at the unit and you'd say "It's clean." But, closer inspection showed that it wasn't a very deep cleaning. The baseboards in some rooms weren't cleaned. In the kitchen, I question if the floor was swept, and it certainly wasn't mopped - at least not very well. Swiping a finger across the floor along the baseboard in the kitchen revealed that it probably hadn't even been touched. Dusting in the bedroom was haphazard, and only done in spots. The edges of the carpet on our enclosed balcony weren't cleaned with an edge tool, although it did appear that the middle part had been vacuumed. Overall, the best description I could give the work is adequate. However, this was not the worst part of the experience. Over the course of the next two days, as I and my fiancee were both traveling for work, we were called no less than 6 times by Elite Services to arrange payment. Both my phone, and my fiancee's phone were called several times. When I finally spoke with Elite Services, I asked the person about their policy for late arriving crews, as the crew being late had seriously inconvenienced my fiancee. The person on the phone immediately became hostile and defensive, and on more than one occasion, flat-out lied to me. On the rare chance that I was allowed to finish a sentence in the conversation, I explained that the crew had been more than 45 minutes outside the window and that we were given no advance warning that they'd be late. The person I spoke with argued that the crew was less than 30 minutes late (the phone record on my phone shows the crew called to be buzzed in at 5:47), and that they tried to call to notify us but the numbers they had on record did not work. Now, let's review - this person called both numbers to confirm, and called both numbers repeatedly to arrange payment, but when it was time to notify us they'd be late, those numbers didn't work. When I pointed this fact out to the person I was speaking with, he became even more defensive, and continued interrupting me by saying things like "you have hurt my feelings with this," and "I don't want your money, I am hurt by this." Clearly, at this point, the conversation was no longer worth having, and I ended it. In summary, I'm sure the cleaning crews at Elite Services are good people, and I'm sure they work hard. They did a fair to adequate job cleaning our condo. However, the management clearly doesn't care about the customer's time, and also doesn't seem to be very honest. There have to be better alternatives in the area. I would NOT recommend this company. I know this runs counter to prevailing opinion here, and fully expect some irate, defensive, and erratic behavior in response to this from Elite Services, but this was my experience. Edit to add: It is only fair that I note that due to our disagreement regarding the timing of the cleaning crew visit, the duration that they worked, the quality of the work, and the general unprofessionalism displayed during phone conversations with this business, the company told me not to pay - so I did not.

I purchased a big deal for a four bedroom home for $119 on 12/18. My wife called up to schedule it and they said the earliest they could come out would be on Monday, January 9th. This seemed a little far off, but figured it was fine and she scheduled it for 2pm. They called on the Friday before to confirm and said they'd arrive at 8am. I said that was not what my appointment was for and he asked me when I thought it was for (odd?) I said in the afternoon and he offered 12pm. No problem. At 12:45 no call and still no maids. I called the main number and reached voicemail. Called again at 1pm and this time left a message. Never heard back, but the maids arrived at 1:20pm (1h20m late). No uniforms as others have described, and it appeared that one was a professional housecleaner and the other was maybe her friend. They brought their own equipment and supplies, as expected. The one woman seemed to suggest they would only clean the 1st and 2nd floor, or the basement and 1st floor, but that made no sense to me. I said a couple times "the whole house" and then she agreed. I didn't realize I'd have to negotiate with the housecleaner on how much of my house she'd actually clean. After arriving late with no phone call and no returned call from the office, and not appearing terribly professional, it wasn't the best start. I showed them around the house from the 2nd floor down to the basement. And asked them to start there so I could disappear while the cleaned the rest. We've used different housecleaners over and years and my preference is not to be home, but this is a new company and I didn't want to be out. I told them we had cats, but they still left the front door wide open (twice) when getting supplies from the car. To me this is completely unacceptable. You're coming into someone's home and there's a certain amount of trust given to you. We've had maids break things in the past without telling us, or not show up with a key and leave the house unlocked, etc. All of these are examples of broken trust and say it's time to fine a new maid. Anyway - the actual cleaning. They cleaned the basement first and were quite loud. Again, I'm not usually home, but it was non-stop talking and laughing. Kind of distracting, and definitely unprofessional. Then then went on to clean the rest of the house. Total cleaning time was around 2hr15m. I saw in the kitchen that the cooktop was very smudgy and not shined properly. I noticed the same on most faucets in the house. The office has a carpet that I actually asked them to re-vacuum because it was just not clean, but I believe the vacuum they were using was either not powerful or not functioning properly, since a 2nd vacuuming didn't help. It also appears that they skipped a room upstairs, or again it may have just been the underpowered vacuum. Overall the cleaning job on a whole was average at very best. I don't know exactly how we ended up with sub-par service counter to what I've read in other reviews, but my hunch is that this company doesn't normally service our area and used outside help once they received a large response from the 'big deal'. Even with that being the best possible explanation I would not use them again. Especially if the normal rate (the 'valued at' price in the big deal) is $250 - that is simply way too high for the service I received. UPDATE: After posting my review I received a call from Elite Cleaning services apologizing for the poor cleaning. He said that there was a large response to the big deal and had to use additional staff to do the work. He said the maids that cleaned our house had received some other complaints, and would not be used again since they did not meet the standards for the company. He offered to send another cleaning team (his best!) to make it right and show the quality of his cleaning service. I definitely appreciated the call, and it shows that this company cares about their customers and about their reputation. We scheduled a cleaning for a couple of weeks later. This time I wasn't around, but my wife was home. She said the maids were professional and arrived on time. They spent a good deal of time on areas that the other maids had either ignored or done a poor job with. I believe their equipment was better as well, since their vacuuming job was noticeably better than the last time. Midway through the cleaning the manager that I spoke to on the phone came by to check up on things and make sure we were satisfied with the job they were doing. Again, this is another example of how they value their reputation and were really trying to make things right. Overall the cleaning job was great this time. I would definitely recommend using DC Elite Cleaning service, and would use them again. The rate they quoted us for additional cleaning services seemed reasonable, and the job they did was really great. It's also nice to find a company that stands behind their work and their reputation and will do whatever it takes to make things right. I've updated my overall rating to a 'B'. I'd love to give them an 'A', and would've based on just this latest cleaning, but I think it's fair to factor in the original cleaners that were sent out.

I signed up for the Big Deal and Matt returned my call that day and, with a cancellation, scheduled me the next day. Since it was my first time, he walked through the place to identify any issues, then his crew of three came in and did a great job -- at one point while I was doing laundry, I looked over into the family room and saw one cleaning a lampshade while another was vacuuming the brush I use for the cat. The place looked the best it ever has; I was so impressed I signed up on the spot for regular monthly cleaning service.

I emailed ELITE immediately after purchasing the Angies Deal online in Dec 2012 requesting an appointment for cleaning. They responded quickly, so I have been using them intermittently ever since. The crew did not hang around to "beg" for a tip like so many do, but professionally packed up and graciously said goodbye; I had to chase them down the hall to give them a tip! Unfortunately, more recently the quality of interaction with ELITE has declined. They sent automated messages indicating they would be by to clean at times that I have told them I was not available. Their team now shows up two hours early, or not at all. I used to take off the day to wait for them to show up, but they often didn't show up. So I stopped that. Now they show up during times when I have told them NOT to, especially when i will be out of the country. Recently, ELITE cleaners dumped all their dirty water down the bathroom sink, clogging it so that I had to get a plumber to unclog all the hair and gunk the cleaners had tossed down the drain.

I used Elite Services about a year ago, when I responded to an Angie's List deal of reduced price. I submitted a report of good work at that time. I contacted them again in Dec. 2011. They were prompt and professional. The two women did good work. They also did some good work for specific work I requested. The only (tiny) concern is that they did not understand English too well, so when I specified specific cleaning to be done, I demonstrated it because I wasn't too sure they understood. The company charged $60./hour for two persons. As they classified the December 2011 job as the initial job (not the original time I used them through Angie's in 2010), the owner said any subsequent jobs would be considerably cheaper. I would hire them again.

Elite came for an initial cleaning -- did a very good job, no complaints. They were right on time and it took about 3 hours to clean the entire house. I would use them again.

Things have gone smoothly to date and I've set up a regular service. Need to schedule out specific cleaning times well in advance for busy times (such as around holidays and weekends). The scheduler likes to communicate by text message.

The cleaning crew was about 15 minutes little late, but called to let me know they ran into traffic. I appreciated the heads-up and wasn't surprised since they came to my house during the morning rush-hour. I walked around the house with Matt and told him what I wanted cleaned and which rooms to skip. The three ladies with him got right to work cleaning everything. And I mean everything...they even wiped down the sides of the doors! About 3.5 hours later my house was immaculate! I don't think it's ever been that clean. The ladies were very respective of my "no-shoes on the carpet" rule and asked me if they had any questions about what I wanted done. I'm definitely using them again...in fact, I just scheduled them to come out in Jan.

Matt and I had trouble connecting, and I finally requested help from Angie's List. Once we got in touch with each other, it went very smoothly. Nilda and her companion were about one hour late, but apparently got stuck in traffic. They did a beautiful job on the house, and I would love to have them back again. They even cleaned the basement, which I hadn't planned on.

I had no trouble setting up my appointment. The day of the cleaning, the crew arrived on time. They were efficient, professional, and my house looked and smelled fantastic. I have since set up another cleaning with the company and I'm hoping for the same results.

I am happy with the service and setup the monthly cleanning serive afterwards.

The service went great. They vacuum all the carpet including the sofa move furniture to clean behind , clean all bathrooms, wipe down blinds, clean the window seals and clean the kitchen and took out the trash.

Excellent communication, work and follow-up. I've had professional maids for 15 years and am very picky. I setup regular cleaning with this company. I hope it lasts!

It went well. The gentleman was on time and was accomodating when I was running late. He did an average job also.

Mehmet Ibis is very good about calling us the day before the cleaners come to let us know what time the cleaners will be here. Whenever we've had special occasions when we've had to change the cleaning date, he has accomodated us without any problems. We previously had some unhappy experiences with cleaners from other companies who did not even clean our bathrooms adequately so we appreciate the fact that the Elite cleaning team do such a great job not only in cleaning our bathrooms but also throughout the house.

We've been using Elite Cleaning for about five months and they initially were a great cleaning service to use and I gave them favorable reviews. However, the service has deteriorated and I am updating my review according to their recent performance. Overall, they do a decent job cleaning. However, they rarely show up at the time that's scheduled. Sometimes they are up to 60 minutes early and then always claim I have the time wrong (although we book through text messages that clearly confirm they show up at different times than scheduled). Other times they are 30-60 minutes late. When they show up they do a good (not rushed) cleaning but punctuality is not something they are good at. Generally if they are early they will blame you if you are not home and if they are late they will let you know that they will be late a few minutes beforehand. However, this is an issue if you need to be home to let them in and have a busy schedule. Additionally, recently we canceled an appointment so they stated they would double the price since it's been longer since my last cleaning. They will try to nickel and dime you when they can, sometimes unreasonably. I thought they were high priced to begin with so doubling that price did not sit well with me.

They did an excellent job. They accommodated a change schedule in a very helpful way.

Matt was responsive to setting up an appointment with a Big Deal coupon. He confirmed the appointed the day before as well. The crew arrived on time and worked efficiently.

I purchased the services on one of the Angie's Big List deals for 3 hours of housecleaning from Elite Cleaning Services. Two ladies arrived on time and worked like crazy. My husband said the shower had never looked cleaner (we had a housekeeping service come twice a month and never got our shower this clean!) We had 2 dogs as well as a puppy and they were able to vacuum up all our pet hair and mop our hardwood floors so that they shined. My kitchen and bathrooms were spotless and quite frankly, that is the most important part of housecleaning for me. I was so impressed that I gave my mom their contact information and they came and cleaned her house quite well also. Would definately recommend this company as they were also quite patient with my changing of dates.s
