The two ladies were here for almost 3 hours. They went above and beyond. The house was SO clean.

The job took approximately 4 hours however, it was the first time and the house was in dire need of deep cleaning. I was very pleased at how well the house look and will be scheduling monthly cleaning appointments requesting the same team since they are now familiar with the house.

Now that services were rendered and I expressed that I would like to have my home cleaned on a bi-weekly basis I have heard nothing from the company. I emailed them the day after service was completed to ask what the regular rate would be as the initial cleaning is charged differently than regular cleanings and have heard nothing. I sent the email exactly 7 days ago. I have no idea if they are coming back next week as a time was never established and I have no idea if they were to show up what the charges would be.

I had my original team back and they did a fabulous job and in record time. Matt Ibis is quick to respond via email and phone and I was very pleased with the service.

The bathrooms and kitchen sparkled. The level of detail was wonderful. The toaster oven was so well-cleaned, the kids said, "hey, I didn't know you could see through this window!". The cleaners were friendly and quiet. They seemed experienced and tireless.I have already scheduled next month's cleaning.

Working long hours makes it difficult for me to keep up with the housekeeping. I also decided to put my condo up for sale, making it especially important that it look its best at all times. I found Elite Cleaning Services on Angie's List and gave them a call. Matt, the manager, explained the services provided very well, and was very flexible in terms of scheduling the first cleaning. The ladies who came to clean were punctual and professional, and thoroughly cleaned my condo, from the windows, to the floors, to the bathroom, to straightening up the bed covers--they even laughed when they realized my cat was hiding under there. I was so pleased with the job they did that I have them come every two weeks to clean. Having a clean house is so important to general well-being, and Elite has made it possible for me to no longer worry about when I will have time to clean. It's great coming home to my condo after Elite has been here.

I have used Elite cleaning twice now. Both times I have been blown away by the quality of the job done. I have used other services in the past that just did a so-so, rushed job. Both times Elite has come to my house they have been extremely thorough and left the house better-than-new. It's not often I find a company that does a better job of cleaning than I can do myself, but Elite cleaning has hit the mark every time! My only complaint is that the crews have been slightly late (30-45 min) each time, but given DC traffic that is not such a big deal.

*******6/8/2012 UPDATE: Matt followed-through with his promises, therefore I modified the rating from an F to an A and have decided to give them another chance (in fact, I am increasing the frequency from bi-weekly to weekly). I received a credit for the day my floor got damaged and I received a free cleaning today. The quality of the cleaning was better than the last one - closer to the original cleaning on the day there was a crew of three ladies here (for two hours), and the two ladies still got done in two hours. They now have a solid understanding of how sensitive our floors are to getting scratched, I suspect we won't have that problem again. Matt has assured me that if two people get the job done in two hours, then the charge will only be $100.00. The last two times they have been here they have gotten the job done in two hours (with two people), so I believe I will be paying $100/week (which is a very competitive price). It would take my fiancee and I 8 hours to get our place this clean - I honestly don't know how they do it. I suppose that we do a deeper clean, which takes more time, but I am happy with the level of cleaning that we will get from Elite on a weekly basis. We can hire a special deep clean a few times a year if needed. Thank you Matt, and crew, for making things right.******* ******* *******6/1/2012 UPDATE: Matt called me on Wednesday (5/30) to discuss the issue. He apologized up front and did not act defensive (which I deeply appreciated). He clarified that if only a two person crew shows up then I only pay for the amount of time the two person crew works (he charged $125 - which would mean 2-1/2 hours, they only worked two hours so the charge should have only been $100). He agreed that two people should have worked for three hours in order to achieve the same quality of cleaning that we got the first time. He said that he is going to issue a refund for 5/25/2012 cleaning and he offered an additional free cleaning. He also said for me to get an estimate for the floor repair because he has insurance to cover these types of issues. Additionally, he said that if the quality of the cleaning is ever not as good as the first time, then let him know and he will have them re-clean to make it right.******* ******* I am not ready to revise the grades in my original review yet. I am waiting to see if/how Matt follows-through with the things we discussed (he sent me a text yesterday stating the refund had been issued; it hasn't shown up yet, I am keeping an eye on it). I sent him an email through Angie's List today letting him know my plan to modify my review once he follows through.******* *******Standby for an update.******* --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ****This past Friday (5/25/2012) was the second bi-weekly cleaning I've had done by Elite Cleaning Services. I will start from the beginning of first point of contact with Elite (Matt) back on 04/30/2012:**** ****I initially contacted Elite through the email function directly in Angie's List over the weekend, either on 4/28 or 4/29. Matt contacted me early Monday morning to discuss the services I was seeking. I was very pleased with his responsiveness right off the bat. He discussed how he would determine pricing and said that I had to pay $9.99/mo membership fee in order to lock-in the price that would be established after my first housecleaning. He quoted $25/hour per person and that he would have a three person crew to do the job. He said that however long it took to do the first cleaning would establish my bi-weekly "locked-in" price. He requested my credit card number, which I was okay with providing since I was so happy that his company could meet my required schedule (Friday mornings), they had some good ratings on Angie's List, and also since they used green cleaning products. **** ****A crew of three ladies (only one could barely speak English) arrived right on schedule for the first cleaning at 8am on Friday, 5/11/2012 (I didn't need them any sooner because I just had a deep clean done by another company). The three ladies did a wonderful job, even wiped out the refrigerator shelves, baseboards, etc. They finished cleaning the house in exactly two hours. Within 10 minutes of them leaving, I got a call from Matt to see if I was pleased. I was pleased with the job they did, and since Matt said the same crew would arrive every week, I locked in the rate of $150 per cleaning (+9.99/mo. membership fee to keep that rate). He then asked me to go post a review on Angie's List since that is how he gets his business.**** ~~~I decided I wanted to wait and see how consistent the service would be before I posted a review.~~~~ ****Two weeks later, at 8am on Friday, 5/25/2012, two ladies showed up right at 8am. I only recognized one of the two (the leader). They still finished cleaning in two hours, but as you would expect - three people cleaning for two hours can do a much more thorough job than two people in two hours. They did a decent job, it just wasn't the same quality as the first cleaning. But here is the reason I am grading this company so poorly: On the first cleaning I informed the leader that the floors scratch VERY EASILY and that they could not let their vacuum cleaner roll around on the floor or scoot things across the floors. They were very cautious the first time and even set their vacuum cleaners on top of a bathmat to ensure they didn't scratch the floors. The second time they arrived they had a different type of vacuum cleaner (one that hangs from the shoulder). It was clear that they understood that our floors are very fragile. Anyway, while they were getting close to being finished with cleaning on Friday I came upstairs to see how things were going and I saw a very large scratch in the floor near the kitchen (in a very visible, common area). I pointed it out and they shook their heads "no" like they didn't know where it came from. I can assure you, we have babied these floors for two years and have only gotten a couple of minor (repairable) scratches in them. We don't wear shoes in the house (don't let our guests wear shoes either), we have felt on the bottom of everything, and we simply do not scoot things across them. It sucks having to be so cautious in your own home, but I didn't realize how fragile the dark bamboo was when I purchases it... and now it is a discontinued item and I cannot get anymore. The scratch was not there before they arrived. **** ****I went back downstairs and waited for them to finish cleaning. When they were done I gave them their tip and said goodbye (a little after 10:00am EDT). I checked on the scratch to see if they were able to make it look better after mopping. They got most of the white stuff out of it, but the scratch was definitely very deep and visible. I tried to fill it and buff it out with a special wood floor scratch pen, but it was too deep to repair. It appears they either scooted their bucket across the floor, or part of a vacuum cleaner, or something. It is possible that they didn't realize when they had done it, I will give them the benefit of the doubt. But when I pointed it out and said it wasn't there before, they flat out denied it and wouldn't try to figure out what happened. **** ****At 10:13am (EDT) I sent a text message to Matt that had a photo of the scratch attached, "Matt, the ladies made a very large scratch in the floor today. I am very unhappy about this." **** ****At 10:41am (EDT), no response from Matt so I called and left him a voicemail letting him know how upset I was. **** ****At 11:36am (EDT), Matt responded via text, "I will get back to u when I talk t the crew and find out what's going on."**** ****At 11:38am (EDT), I responded to Matt's text, "Okay, thanks. It is possible that they don't know how they did it. The floors are discontinued and therefore not replaceable."**** ****I never heard from him again. On Saturday afternoon (5/26/2012) I sent him an email through Angie's List letting him know how disheartening his lack of response to this issue was. I let him know that I was giving him one more opportunity to fix the problem before I took my business elsewhere and posted a very revealing review of his company on Angie's List. I told him that for me, it is not always the problem, but how one fixes the problem that matters. It is now 12:15am on 5/30/2012, and by this review you can see that I have not yet heard from Matt about the issue. ****!!!!!!!!*****When this company wants your business, they are very responsive and provide excellent customer service. When this company causes damage to your property, they are not to be found.**** I do not know how to cancel my $9.99 "membership fee" and I really would like to get my $150.00 refunded for Friday's disaster. I'm going to have to depend on Angie's List to help me get this resolved. ****!!!!!!!!***** ****Also, I've been thinking about something else: They lock in the price based on how long it takes to do the first cleaning. They send out a larger crew for the first cleaning so that the price is higher than it really should be. $150 was established on it taking THREE people to clean in TWO hours. Now TWO people show up and finish the same job in the same TWO hours. I overpaid by $50 for the second cleaning. The locked-in rate is only worth the $9.99/month membership fee if you wind up getting a larger crew for future cleanings (of the same or better quality), or if it takes the two people longer to accomplish the same quality of cleaning that three people can accomplish in two hours. I'm sorry, but this just isn't right. Buyer Beware!****

I was extremely happy with results. I was a little worried as they were 1/2 hour late with no notice but when they did arrive, they apologized. Also our street was closed for sidewalk work so they had to carry their equipment from a block away. They started immediately and never stopped working. They even cleaned the windows and the house just sparkled when they were done. In fact I'm so pleased I've scheduled monthly cleaning with them and the owner assures me the same level of workmanship will be used every time with customer satisfaction guaranteed.. Great experience.

As a former-Marine, I have very high standards when it comes to cleaning but unfortunately an injury now prevents me from cleaning my house. I tried Elite Cleaning based off Angie's List reviews and am very happy. The prices were a little high, but then again they stayed for four hours and it shows. I am still finding small things around the house that surprisingly were cleaned (i.e. - my toothbrush cup, wife's tea kettle, etc.). The two girls pulled out all of the furniture, lifted all rugs, and cleaned every nook and cranny of the house. Very impressive and I plan to sign up for a monthly service going forward.

Have had Elite come for housekeeping three times. Have been impressed with the speed and efficiency of the three-person crew. There were a few minor issues -- an unexected delay and a faucet nozzle that somehow was broken during the first visit -- but will attribute those experiences to the "these things happen" category. Have reason to think the experience over time will prove to be good.

Overall experience was good. There was initial confusion as to the date/time/client when making the service reservation. Workers arrived approximately 40 minutes late but went right to work cleaning; there was a slight language barrier which may have lead to confusion about what work, and which areas were to be cleaned. The price for the services performed was good; the cleaning services were good; would recommend this service for general cleaning and would use again.

This company has been really great to work with. Because of my job, I must be assured of legal workers. Matt was able to explain and help ease my concerns. I've been so worried I've been unable to hire for a year. I really like how i have the same two ladies come each time. They always do a good job and don't miss things. They quality of the work is great. They have drastically helped my quality of life.

Very thorough, 3 people, multiple hours. Great service. My only caveat is I still have not checked my bill to see just what I paid. Did tip the staff, they worked hard.

Matt came out to my house within an hour after asking for an estimate for a top-to-bottom cleaning. A cleaning crew was able to come out the following week. A crew of 4 showed up an hour late, 3pm and stayed until 9pm (for 7000 sq'.) At $30 per hour per person my expectations were high. Overall they did a decent job, however, my kitchen cabinets were sticky in some areas and the handles were never wiped down, and some interior windows were not washed. Matt offered to give a discount or send the crew back out. I chose to have the crew come back out. A different crew showed up the following week and thoroughly cleaned the cabinets and handles and the windows that were missed. Matt was extremely professional, answered or returned calls promptly. I was satisfied with the work and professionalism but thought I paid too much.

Before I had the interview they had me send them my credit card information, something I was not very comfortable with. The company was supposed to come for an interview and they sent people to clean my house, hours earlier than I had planned for the interview. I had said that I needed people who spoke English, and they did not. The manager call me back with a little bit of an attitude. The service not good!

Contacting the company by email was not useful. I tried calling and texting. After 8-10 attempts to set a date, I still wasn't on their schedule. I received a refund on the Big Deal, as it was incredibly difficult to schedule an appointment. UPDATE during scheduling: This provider contacted me and was very apologetic regarding this scheduling issue. He agreed to do the service according to my availability. Please stay tuned for an updated comment on the QUALITY of their service after the second week in June. I have agreed to give this company another go. My decision to use this company in the future will depend on how well they do at our next scheduled appointment. UPDATE after services: The 3 qualities of actual cleaning service achieved an excellent level. My request for dry dusting was followed. I enjoyed working with my 2-woman team. Difficult tasks like cleaning the stovetop, vacuuming in corners and window-jambs, and even cleaning the shelves of the fridge were done! The non-coupon price is competetive. They could accommodate my odd timing like once every two months. Confirming the approintment date/time is the only category nearing a mark of "fair". I used the refund to give the actual workers large tips, and will send a portion to the company for administration. When my budget allows, yes, I would use this company in the future.

They were prepared to do more than I expected. I stopped one worker when I realized she was preparing to clean my refrigerator. They did an excellent job.

Excellent, professional service - my house has never looked better! :)

UPDATE: 3/1/13 We have since cancelled our service with Elite Cleaning. We were paying $175 every two weeks which is a pretty hefty price for the size of our townhouse. The service has been pretty good all along, but this week I was very displeased. Although our home was clean, I spent more time putting things back where they belong than I should for the amount of money we pay. The following things were wrong (and truly, if it were just a few of these things I would have been much less upset): -rugs/bath mats in master bathroom all put back in the wrong spots -trash can in the wrong spot -wet towel left on our laundry basket with a folded sheet left on top of the wet towel. -while dusting, my jewelry box was tossed around (based on how some items had "fallen" into a different compartment -other areas of dusting where they carelessly left things askew - bathmat in guest bathroom out of place and shower curtain out of place. -items on counter carelessly put back -I had one cast iron pan in the kitchen sink that was cleaned and with no regard for where it belongs was shoved into one of our all clad plans that is now rusted from the cast iron laying on it. -fire place not cleaned (as per usual) -half bath light left on -chair rearranged and ottoman left in the middle of the room This is just unacceptable to me. Granted this is the first and only time my house has been left like this, but there are too many cleaning services out there to continue paying the price we do. It isn't worth the expense or hassle.

The cleaning went very well. I was impressed with how thorough they were. The only concern I had was that it was scheduled for 3:30 p.m. and they didn't arrive until almost 5:30 (the owner called earlier in the afternoon to say they were running late.) The 3 women who cleaned were here until after 9:30 p.m. which disrupted our evening a bit (and surely made for a long day for them.) Matt, the owner, arrived with the women cleaning and looked around the house to see what needed to be done. The women do not speak very much English, so it was good to have Matt instructing them. He came back at the end of the cleaning to check things over as well. We have had them clean 2 additional times since then (the following week doing the basement as well, which includes a bedroom, 2 bathrooms, a large recreation room with small kitchen area, fitness room and a tv room.) This week they came back, going over the whole house with the exception of several of the bedrooms that are not used regularly and part of the basement. They arrived in a timely manner both times. I would highly recommend Elite Cleaning Services, particularly if you are wanting a deep cleaning of your house. I am not sure yet how it will work out for us as a weekly service, as we do not need the type of deep cleaning they do every week and I don't want to spend $300-400 weekly for house cleaning.

I have been getting my apartment cleaned on a monthly basis by Elite Cleaning -- as I mentioned, I am most pleased with the work done by their two person crew --- they clean everything, bathrooms, kitchen, floors, carpets, dusting, vacuuming furniture. I couldn't be happier with the service they provide at a very reasonable cost $75.00 per cleaning -- I usually tip the workers $10 each for their excellent work.

I had an appointment for 8:00 am. At 8:40 nobody had arrived, so I called to find out what had happened. I got an answering machine. Matt (who seems to be the only manager as he is constantly mentioned in reviews) said that he just found out that the car that his team was supposed to come out in had had a mechanical failure. He said he would send a backup team that would arrive around 10:30. He practically hung up the phone. In the first place, I found this very disrespectful of me and my time. Did he think that I had all morning to just wait around for his team? Also, why had I not received a call from anyone to say they would be late or that they had an issue with their car, etc.? At 10:45 his backup team was still not at my house. At that point I called him and told him if they couldn't arrive in 5-10 minutes I would rather reschedule. He said, "well if you're that impatient that you can't wait, then maybe we should reschedule." I said I'd give them 5 minutes and he said he'd call me back. In about 2 minutes I got a call saying the team was parking and "thanks for your patronage" and he hung up. Once the team was here, the two women cleaned very well and were extremely efficient, but it was such a hassle and the situation was handled very poorly. I understand things happen (maybe his team didn't come to work or he was double booked or something), but just be honest and take care of your customer....that's what a manager does. I wouldn't use them again because there are so many other cleaning services. I don't feel they are good for their word and the communication was terrible. After looking at some of the reviews on yelp and other review sites it seems that this type of issue is not that uncommon for this company.

We have gone through many many many cleaning services in the last ten years and have lived with tardiness, unreliability, poor cleaning, etc etc. With Elite we finally found a cleaning service that actually leaves our house clean when they leave. They have done everything we've asked, been punctual and responsive. We love them;.
