The ladies arrived for a spring cleaning and did a remarkable job. The bathrooms and the kitchen sparkled after they finished. They also did a good job on the hardwood floors downstairs, a difficult job. They had their own equipment and supplies and did not need any extra instructions. I did not have to request that anything be done over because it wasn't right. It was wonderful to have a clean house ready for spring. I would use this company again.
Description of Work: Cleaning a two-bedroom, 2.5 bath condo (two stories). Thorough cleaning of all the house--two ladies.

Overall - great cleaning team with very poor management team or process! Office team is not responsive and both of my names were misspelled on invoice, however, they are very efficient about charging your credit quickly before discussing services and final amount with the client.
Description of Work: Newly renovated empty two bedroom, two bath 1388 square feet condo. All floors new. All surfaces newly painted. New light fixtures. Windows already cleaned. Team essentially performed deep cleaning of two bathrooms and one kitchen with appliances. The cleaning crew of two did a thorough job. The first issue was the cleaning crew did not call, as directed, to gain entry into secure building. Elite office was called to inquire why the crew was late - no one answered! So, cleaning crew started 30 minutes late. Crew worked steady for 4 hours and departed. Job well done! I asked for invoice and was informed Wes or Matt would contact me and provide invoice. The next day I noted charge for services on my credit card and it was more than quoted by 30 dollars. I called and asked for invoice. It was promised via email on February 22d. I just received it on February 27th after numerous calls and text messages. I was charged for the 30 minutes the cleaning team was outside the building. I inquired about the Angie's List discount and was told they would apply it to the second cleaning. No thanks!

About a month ago we fired our previous cleaning crew of many years as service was declining and we just were not happy with the quality of the clean. We then went in search of a new company to try. Elite seems to have very good reviews so we decided to give them a test run. We paid for a one time initial clean. This clean was fantastic. It was very detailed and the two ladies met our very high expectations. We then arranged a biweekly cleaning with the company and so far those cleans have been nearly as good as the initial which has us quite happy. They take their time and obviously take pride in their work as it doesn't seem as rushed as other services. Keep in mind that you will pay for this upgrade in service. I am now paying significantly more for my biweekly cleaning however, as long as the quality stays at this level, its week worth it. In short, thus far, I can highly recommend elite clean. Looking forward to many more elite cleans!

They came in with their own equipment and cleaner started in the basement then the bedrooms, all the bathrooms, the dinning room, living room, family room and the breakfast nook and kitchen was last, they dusted/moped/ vaccum,clean the mirrors, empty all the trash cans, the cabinets were cleaned and polished along with the wood floors, pictures/all wood tables clean, counter tops clean and polished/microwave/stove/grill, they also dusted the blinds/door knobs and front door windows.
Description of Work: Elite cleaning services provided excellent services, they were very professional, they started a little late but they did a wonderful job on my 5 bedroom house. I would recommed their company to everyone. I will be using their services again and again. Thanks Angie

Their service is great. They have been providing the same team each time. They are on time, polite, and very thorough. They clean my rugs, move furniture, wash all the floors, and even get on a ladder to clean my ceiling fans when needed. They have me on a regular schedule. They will text me when it is time to come again. Their supervisor has even come to follow up on the work. He is also polite and professional. They are really reliable and I will continue to use their services.

I was dreading hiring a company I didn't know to clean my place. I was moving out of my apartment and was responsible to get a company to clean when I left. The company was so responsive from the moment I called. They were able to accommodate my request with a week's notice. They were right on time and their estimate was right on for the actual job. The two women who came to clean were incredible. The apartment looked better than the day I moved in. I was so impressed by them that I am going to hire them for my new place. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

I purchased a Living Social housecleaning deal with this company for $75. I believe it is a small, family-owned company, so it was slightly difficult to reach an actual person when calling to schedule. However, the ladies arrived within their scheduled time frame. And once on site they did an excellent job. They were very thorough, yet quick and efficient. I live alone, have no pets, and am exceptionally clean. Even so, I was impressed with the job. Every surface in my home was attended to and left sparkling, tidy or clean. This was my first professional housecleaning but not my last! I researched several companies and Elite had great reviews already. I am happy to provide another one.

Very unprofessional company. I had an appointment scheduled for today, 7 Feb 13, at 2:00 pm. I took off of work and eagerly awaited their arrival. By 2:45 pm, still waiting, I called the company to ask where the cleaning crew were. It took three tries to get someone on the line and the representative told me that he thought the team was already at the house. He said he would try to locate them and call back. A half hour later I called him. Still no information, but he claimed to still be looking. At 3:30 pm I called again. The representative claimed that one of the crew members had taken ill or was injured and that he would try to get another team to my house, I immediately cancelled the service. First of all, what type of company doesn't know when their employees are not on the job? How could he have believed that they were at the site, especially if one of the employees is seriously injured? Second, it took over 45 minutes for him to "locate them"? Lastly, no offer for a discount, only an insincere apologize and an excuse that I found implausible. I will NOT be using this company again.

I hired Elite Cleaning based on the Angie's List reviews and 10% discount. I recently bought a condo. The previous owner had rented out the unit and the last tenants did not do an adequate job of cleaning the unit. Furthermore, I had some minor renovations (new flooring, patching up walls, etc.) and so I hired Elite Cleaning to do a move in/out deep clean the day before I was moving in. I had the property manager let them into the condo since I was working. I did not interact with the cleaners themselves. The few times I called the office, they were courteous and helpful. I appreciated that they called to confirm the appointment the day before. That evening after work, I stopped by the condo to check out how the cleaning went. The work itself was excellent. Everything was spic and span and I was very please. My only note is that I had a few tools and papers on the counter top. The cleaners put these items in a drawer and I found everything except my tape measure, which is why I gave them only a B on quality. Overall, I'm incredibly pleased by the service. I already use another cleaning service for regular bi-weekly cleanings, so I most likely won't hire Elite Cleaning again.

I have used them for two previous months and their were some issues. Every time I would call Matt and Wes were very helpful in getting things right. They sent two new reps out and they did a great job. They clean the inside and the top the oven and will do anything you ask them to do very thoroughly. They are very hardworking and have a wonderful attitude.

Went very well overall. First time cleaning with intention of continuing to biweekly service. Required same team every week since there will be a large dog in the house when I'm not home. Excellent attention to detail! Couches and fabric headboard vacuumed, kitchen and bathrooms spotless, and dog hair covered baseboards cleaned! A little pricey for a single cleaning, but I believe it was charged hourly at 4.5 hours. Quoted $175 per cleaning for future biweeklys. Hopefully the service remains as exceptional as the first one!
Description of Work: A complete basic housecleaning including vacuuming, mopping, wiping down cabinets and counters, oven cleaned, kitchens/bathrooms cleaned, dusting, ceiling fan dusting, sweeping, baseboards cleaned, windows (interior) and a general straightening up.

I will admit to being completely baffled by all the positive reviews for this company. My experience was precisely the opposite. As the first service I scheduled based on Angie's List reviews, it made me seriously question the quality of reviews on this site. (I have since used a different company for a different service and found it completely met the high reviews, so it must be hit-or-miss.) Short story: I scheduled a move-in cleaning for a mostly unfurnished condo. The team showed up five hours early for the appointment, and then insisted to my building manager that they be let in even though they couldn't get ahold of me. This resulted in a much lower than expected quality of cleaning, and the crew disappeared before I returned home even though I specifically requested they stay so that I could hear their explanation (and left my condo unlocked in the process). It took the company weeks to respond to my multiple phone calls and emails asking for an explanation, which they to this day have not provided. Long(er) story: I had scheduled a move-in cleaning for my essentially empty condo. The condo had already had a cursory cleaning after the previous owners moved out, so I was looking specifically for a deep cleaning focused on appliances, bathroom, and kitchen, and not wasting time on the vacuuming and dusting that had already been done. I specifically scheduled the appointment for a time that I would be able to be home so that a) I could explain in detail to the crew what I wanted them to spend time on and what I wanted them to ignore, and b) I could supervise - not that I had poor expectations for the crew, but this was the first time I used this company and - call me crazy, but - I don't implicitly trust any person (especially people I haven't even met) in my home without me. When I left work early in the afternoon the day of the appointment, my cell phone had multiple messages on it from hours earlier. I called and was told that the crew was already IN my home. It turned out they had arrived five HOURS earlier than my scheduled appointment time and then insisted to my building manager that they be let in my condo even without my permission. I am 99% confident that I had the timing of the appointment correct - the one meeting I had at work that day was at 9:30, so when I called to schedule I asked for a late afternoon appointment. (They showed up at ~10am.) I understand many people who have regular cleaning service are often not home at the time of the cleaning - but this is AFTER establishing a relationship with the company and them having gained your trust. In addition, I would think that if I owned a company and had a first-time customer I would want to ensure I obtained their permission before doing ANYTHING that someone might not be happy with, in order to retain them as a long-term customer. (I have obviously also talked to my building manager about not letting people in my unit without my explicit instructions - my point with the company is that they should not have been insisting to get in if they weren't sure that I was ok with them being in my home without me.) When I found out the crew was in my unit already and was about to finish the job, I a) was obviously upset and wanted to talk to them to understand what had happened, and b) wanted to check their work to make sure they had actually completed the job I wanted them to do. I therefore told the person I spoke with on the phone to call the crew back and tell them to remain in my unit until I got there. Seven minutes later when I arrived home, I found the door unlocked and walked inside to find NO ONE. It was obvious that rather than stay as requested, they had instead hurried to leave before I arrived, to the point that they didn't even wait to get the door locked behind them. I don't know whether this was at the crew's own initiative or if they were instructed to leave. I immediately called the manager back and my call was sent immediately to voicemail. I left a voicemail for them to call me back as soon as possible. I then checked out my unit and was sorely disappointed. While it was obvious that there had been vacuuming (again, something I did NOT want them to do because it had already been done) and some superficial cleaning of appliances, etc, it was also obvious that no one had cleaned inside the oven (there were crumbs from that morning) , there was still hair on the wall of the bathroom, a stain on the side of the toilet (which I was able to scrub off pretty easily - point being that it was not permanent, and that I shouldn't have had to clean it myself) , etc. These are all things that should be part of a basic move-in cleaning. Possibly even worse, the crew had wasted time folding a pile of dirty laundry(!?) - how many minutes did that take and how much did I end up paying for that "service"? When I still had not received a call back a week later, I sort of assumed that the company had recognized they screwed up royally. I was therefore surprised to find a charge on my credit card for $112. I immediately sent the company an extensive email requesting a) an invoice so I could see what they were charging me for and what discounts had been applied, and b) explanations to all of my complaints which I detailed to them in the email, including photos. Another week later with no response and I had to send them another email offering them a final chance to offer explanation and supply an invoice. I did receive a 3-line email saying essentially "you were charged $112" (I guess that is the "invoice"?) and, after halfway acknowledging they got the appointment time wrong, said that it was my building manager's fault they were in the unit unsupervised. The extensive list of other complaints I asked them to explain was (and still is) unacknowledged and (as is probably unsurprising at this point) I still have no idea what I'm being charged for. I will say the company claims they gave me a 20% discount (with no invoice this is hard for me to tell). The first 10% they offered over the phone during my first call with them the day of the cleaning. The second 10% was offered in the second phone call that day when I explained to them that I clearly would not be using them a second time so asked them to give me the Angie's List discount (normally for a second cleaning) for this cleaning. These were both offered before I had even arrived at my condo - I hope my above explanation makes clear that with all the additional problems I discovered after I arrived home, I am not satisfied even after this (supposed) 20% discount. In sum, I am upset less at the company getting my appointment time wrong and much, MUCH more at the way this mistake was (not) handled. I don't expect companies to be flawless, but I do expect companies to be able to handle mistakes when they happen in a way that both the company and customer are satisfied. I am also submitting this to the Better Business Bureau. Update (2/24/2013): While I appreciate the company's acknowledgment that the "Customer is always right!", the actions described above speak much louder than a four-word response.

The quality of the cleaning crews are generally pretty good. I continued to use them for months because I liked the cleaning ladies that came by and while they did not do a spectacular job, they were generally pretty thorough and better than other companies I had used. I kept using Elite even though their management is absolutely horrible. To give you a few examples: 1) I repeatedly asked for a green cleaning because of our small baby. Each time Elite would come to my house, the ladies were not informed in advance that I had requested a green cleaning. The first time they arrived, the ladies went out and purchased green products from the store. I called Elite and they apologized and said it would never happen again. The second time Elite came by, they (again) did not have the green products with them so I said they should just use my products. Again, I called Elite and they said it would never happen again. By the third time (when they again showed up with out the products), I stopped reporting it to Elite's management team and I just had them use my products. The problem is that one of the ladies (for whatever reason) didn't realize about the green products and she used this HORRIBLE smelly chemical in our kitchen. I had to take my baby to another level and then eventually out of the house. I again communicated this to Elite and they said it would never happen again. I think the pattern is becoming clear. 2) I also had requested that the same cleaning team come to our house for each clean. I like to get to know the people who are cleaning our house and I generally think it is a better experience for everyone when the cleaners know what to expect. Unfortunately every time I used Elite, they sent a different group of ladies to my house even though I had requested the same team. It was really frustrating because I would call Elite and ask them for XYZ (the same cleaning team, green products, etc.), they would say "yes, yes" and then completely ignore what I had previously requested. I have NEVER dealt with such incompetent service people in the U.S. And yet I continued to use Elite because despite the hair pulling out frustration of the management team, I generally liked the cleaning ladies. 3) Elite has several options of cleaning frequency and I chose to have our house cleaned once a month. Their rates are generally pretty good and we could afford their monthly rate. The manager (Matt) asked me if I wanted an automatic monthly clean (on a regular date) and I explained that didn't always work for us given schedules, etc. I explained that I would call him each month to schedule a cleaning. Despite this, Matt continued to send me random text messages when I had NOT scheduled a cleaning. Example "Reminder elite cleaning will be w u tomorrow at 8 am, Matt." And every time he did this, I would have to write back "No, I have not scheduled a cleaning." Sometimes he would send me this message with the wrong date and wrong time. So I would write back "I don't have a cleaning scheduled tomorrow. I have a cleaning scheduled for 8am on Saturday." The last time he sent me a "reminder" text when I had not scheduled a cleaning (on 1/6/2013), I failed to respond immediately because I was out of town. He then wrote back that the cleaning ladies were at my house. I explained that I had repeatedly asked him NOT to send me monthly messages, and he then chided me for not responding. 4) No shows, Late shows, Early shows. In my five months of experience with Elite, I have experienced ALL of the following. One time the ladies did not come by as scheduled. I texted Matt and he said that they would be there in 30 minutes. I waited. I texted him after 30 minutes and he said they would be there in 10 minutes. He then texted me the wrong address and asked if that I was my address. I said it was not, and not to bother coming by. Matt never responded or apologized for the no show. I have also had the Elite ladies come 30 minutes late and 45 minutes early! I scheduled a cleaning at 8 am and they showed up at 7:15am!! I have a small baby and I had to run around to get her up and show the (new and different) cleaning ladies around the house. 5) After the no show, I spoke with another manager (Wes). He was really nice. He give me a free cleaning and he asked me to give Elite another chance. I did, but all the same problems kept happening. He asked that if I was satisfied with my cleaning, to please rate them on Angie's List. I said that I would rate, but only if the service had gotten better. I am not a serial online reviewer. Honestly, I think this might be the only review I have written in several years, but I felt obligated to share my experience with Angie's List members. I used Elite Cleaning services based on the Angies List reviews and I would have hoped that someone would have written a similar review before I used them. I see that they have a lot of positive reviews and I think this is because their ladies do a good job (generally) but I have never in my life experienced such hair-pulling frustration with a company's customer service.

In only 5 visits, the cleaning teams and management staff demonstrated nothing but unprofessionalism and the quality of the cleaning was poor. We have had nothing but issues after every single visit. While we expected to work through a few issues in the beginning, we did not expect the lack of professionalism outlined below in the least. Being a busy family, all we wanted was our house cleaned - we didn't expect it spotless and sparkling, but rather just to be cleaned with care and respect. We chose this company because they had an "A" rating . . . . in our opinion, they get an "F". There is no excuse for damaging personal property and not informing the owners, throwing out personal property without permission, and not responding to phone calls. Below are a few examples of the issues and unprofessionalism we encountered. 1) Scheduling was supposed to be once a month, it ended up being every 4 weeks and on 2 of the occasions we did not receive a call to even let us know they were coming. 2) Cleaning teams damaged a laptop power cord and failed to notify us; we found it late that night after they had left and had to order a new one 3) Cleaning teams threw out in the trash an entire bin of our child's toys which were clearly in a toy bin in a toy room 4) Cleaning teams were sloppy and cleaned as if they didn't care about the home - crooked pictures/items, water marks in the corners and under gates on the hardwood floors which should have been mopped up, splatter from cleaning solutions found on dark walls, etc. 5) Management staff consistently failed to return phone calls about complaints about service quality and scheduling 6) Cleaning team actually walked out without notice and did not come back after they were informed they showed up too early at 8:30 AM (an arrival time of no earlier than 9 AM had previously been discussed and agreed upon with their management since arriving prior to is a serious inconvenience as we have a young child still sleeping at that time); another cleaning team had to be sent to clean our home.
Description of Work: We requested that 2 of our 4 bedrooms, all 2 1/2 bathrooms, and the main level of the home including the kitchen be cleaned once a month.

I called Elite based on the Angie's List reviews and the person I spoke with was very professional and understood my needs. He described the service and after discussing my situation, he provided an estimate as to the amount of time it would take. I made a few other calls to other services, but either did not get a call back or did not find the other services to be any better. I would make sure to be at home a bit early as the workers arrived early. I think the experience and service went very well.
Description of Work: I had some kitchen and bath remodeling done in my small condo, which left dust everywhere. I have a number of knick-knack items, lamps and pictures, along with furniture which all needed carefule handling and dusting. The work was done very well. Two women arrived 15 minutes before the scheduled time and got to work immediately. They used their own cleaning supplies and equipment. in addition to dusting and vacuuming everything, they cleaned my new bathroom, and wiped all the surfaces in my new kitchen, leaving everything gleaming. I estimated the work would take 3 hours, but they were finished in 2.5 hours. The only thing they were not able to do is move some large boxes and furniture I had stacked up for the remodel. Everything else was handled very well.

They did a lousy job after the initial cleaning. We asked them MANY times not to use a certain product on our floors but they did it anyway. Never stayed the full time period, and NEVER came on time. When we finally fired them, the owner would continue to contact us asking if we needed cleaning. We told him many times to stop calling and even 3 months later he STILL wont leave us alone. they were sloppy and rude.

Two women came and literally cleaned everything. They moved furniture, cleaned the fridge, and overall had a level of work I had not seen before. Our house was filthy, I won't lie, so they needed to clean a lot! I was extremely satisfied with my experience.

Very pleased with overall experience - owner got back to me promptly. Quote was very reasonable compared to others I received and the quality of work was excellent. I had given them a list of what I wanted done and it was all done exactly as requested.

We booked them through the website, they visited once and did a very thorough cleaning and now they return once a month and do great cleanings.

The team of two cleaners arrived 15 minutes early and went to the other building in my apartment complex. They started at the agreed time (thanks to the front desk of my apartment building) and did overall a good job. The main purpose was to clean thie apartment for a party. As requested, they broke down and took away a large amount of boxes. They also moved other items out of a key room. While there were a few small matters such as a broken plant and some dusting that was missed, overall they did a good job and I would ask them back.
