They did an amazing job. The only thing was they were two hours late on a Saturday, and I understand the nature of this work makes it tough to finish one job, and start another. When they did arrive, however, they asked about what areas needed to be cleaned, and they got going right away. Admittedly, the house is a disaster zone, and there was much clutter to deal with...more work yet to do. I would definitely use them again, as they did stellar on the areas they cleaned. The overall grade of B was based on the punctuality.

We have been very happy with Elite. We have increased our usage and really like the ladies who come to our house. The are fast and thorough and always very pleasant. Elite is also quick to respond when we need additional services.

We've been using Elite for several months for housecleaning services. Their crews do a good job and they are flexible about rescheduling when we need to switch the timing around.

Elite Cleaning was my first experience with this type of service. I was so impressed with the job the ladies from elite cleaning services did on my home that I signed up to have them come in once a month. Each time they come they amaze me!!

I experienced Elite Cleaning Services at my daughters home, I saw what a wonderful job they did for her very large home. I have been using them now for about 2 months, they come every 2 weeks. They clean everything from floors, ceiling fans, top of refrigerator, kitchen cabinets and the ladies that come are always the same people (which I like very much). They are always very professional and get right to work when they come, going non-stop. This service has given me the spare time and peace of mind that I needed as I work full-time and own a business on the side.

Initially, I had a few issues. However, the owner called and personally offered his apologies, which I can appreciate. The original crew he sent to my home was pleasant and they did a great job. They cleaned EVERYTHING. Even my husband was impressed. The issues arose when I received different crews and automated text messages with different dates and times other than what I scheduled. Nonetheless, the issues have been addressed and I'm moving forward to continue my services with them.

Overall it went well. I was expecting 2 cleaners but 3 arrived, and they arrived 15min early. The areas they cleaned were done well. Some of the activity I did not understand such as the unmaking the bed and then making it up. I had specified that they were not to change the linens, I guess I needed to verify that they not do anything to the beds. After they left I spoke with the manager about the overall experience, I did not ask for a reduction but based on the conversation he only charged me for 3.0hrs instead of the 3.5. Going forward, I will probably use them again on a monhtly basis with better specifics on what I want.

This company cleaned my house twice because I wanted to give them a second chance. In addition to leaving furniture askew throughout the house, they damaged a very expensive coffee table book, completely unplugged the router/TV/DVR/internet system, disabling service, tripped multiple breakers in the house, placed dirty cups from breakfast in the cabinet, put dirty dishes in the dishwasher with clean dishes. Most importantly, they didn't properly clean the kitchen counter or the dining room table but simply wiped it down. I could still feel missed food/dried liquid that had been missed. The items of the mantle were moved but the mantle was not dusted...and, this is only on the first floor. In the basement, they snagged the carpet on the stairs and left cleaning rags in my children's play area (chemicals and children don't typically mix well). I haven't ventured upstairs yet but I'm nervous about what I might find...

They did good and cleaned the house

They did an excellent job. There were 4 women. Nora speaks English. I explained exactly what she should not touch. They cleaned everything.They removed all the spots from the ceramic stovetop. This was the 2nd time they came. They will come bi-weekly and the same group will come. One of my lamps was damaged (but this may have been my fault.) .

Work was performed completely and punctually!

VERY GOOD JOB I liked that there were 3 people . They worked 21/2 hours They worked very hard, and were pleasant. They spoke English so we could communicate. Problems: 1. I did not receive a credit card receipt in the mail./ I spoke to the owner. (He will send me a receipt. 2. I could not close one of the vertical blinds.

We had sold our home - they came in to clean - the place was immaculate - they made the house look new - baths, kitchen, hardwoods, tile - awesome cost was very reasonable - I cannot remember the exact amount.

***UPDATE*** April 25, 2014 I am disappointed with the poor customer service and inconsistency in cleaning that I have received since my initial review. I really had rave reviews at first, but slowly things started to fall apart. My biggest pet peeve was punctuality. As a person who works night shift, and a mother with two toddlers, timing is important to me. There were 4 instances when we were scheduled for weekly cleaning and they were later than 1 our without calling. For example, we are scheduled for cleaning at 8 AM and no-one showed up till after 12pm, NO CALL. Granted, other times, they are on time or 15 minutes late, which is understandable. The lateness without informing me is the area in which I am most disappointed. The fourth time this occurred was catalytic in my writing this update. After not showing up for an hour past scheduled time, I texted the owner to let him know. The owner stated that he then called them and the excuse I received for them arriving 1.5 hours late without calling was of an "ACCIDENT on the road." I was late for an appointment and was not able to be there while cleaning was done. Upon returning, I realized that they did a horrible job. Floors were not mopped, etc. I understand that a traffic incident s no fault of theirs, however, it would be considerate of the workers to inform the client (myself) of the anticipated lateness. To add insult upon injury, they did a hurried and haphazard job. I'm highly dissatisfied. The owner seems like a great guy and is responsive so I felt like I should give him a break, but I feel like I have given them too many chances. Every time I complain, he offers to take percentage off the cleaning service. Sir, this does not rectify anything. Instead of offering discounts, please instruct your workers of professional and common courtesy. It's time to look into other companies. -------------------------------------------------- January 2014 First of, all some caveats: I am currently leaving a review under my husband's Angie's list account and this review is rather LONG. We recently moved into our home and desired professional cleaning. It was our first time to hire professional house cleaners as we were previously living in an apartment building prior to relocating, so I was a bit nervous. When searching for cleaners, I was looking for a highly reputable company with excellent reviews and Elite Cleaning Services (Previously DC Elite) fit my criteria. I was concerned whether they would be able to travel to my home because judging by their name, DC was a bit far from my me ( a little over an hour) so I decided to look at their website first. I loved how their website had cleaning tips (which I now use btw) as well as many other pros, so I decided to go ahead and give them a call. The person I spoke to ( forgot his name) was very professional, patient and courteous enough to answer my question, and to my delight, informed me that they would drive out to my area. The first cleaning was amazing! We had two women who cleaned our home which is a bit on the "bigger" side. They were incredibly professional, cheerful and friendly and did such a great job that my husband and I decided to hire them on a weekly basis. These are the major reasons why we went with ELITE: 1. Professionalism: they are insured and bonded btw. 2. Friendliness/Respectful: I'm not sure how to describe it, but I can see that they clean with LOVE. The way our things are handled; so delicately yet so thoroughly cleaned. 3. Excellent response turnaround time. ( even when I have to leave a msg, I get a call back within hours at the most) We requested the same two cleaners and have never been disappointed since. I apologize for not remembering their names but I can get them for anyone who would like to request them as well, although I assume mostly all the workers are excellent at their craft. We also hired Elite for routine cleaning of my husband's small business. So far so good. In addition, the two women are amazing and incredibly pleasant to my 23 and 9 month old daughters. In short, I feel like Elite Cleaners deserve and have earned every "A" rating that they have received. |Constantly Changed Appointments, Often Late, Not thorough

Other cleaning services will make you clean before they arrive, so they can mop the floors and collect their money. It's best to have a somewhat tidy (in terms of your personal belongings) place before they arrive if you can, just so they can maximize their time at your place. To give you an idea of why this company is different, I enlisted Elite Cleaning Services and the owner, a really nice guy who genuinely cares about your business, insisted if possible that he do an estimate himself - not just to ensure a quality job, but because he feels its important to personally meet you briefly to tell you that if you have any problems, concerns, whatever - he'll personally see to it that you're satisfied. I can't tell you how refreshing that is these days. Couldn't be happier with the company or the service they provide.

I needed a deep cleaning done in my parent's home and contacted Elite Cleaning. They were able to come the very next afternoon. The staff was punctual and very hard working. They went above and beyond my expectations by not only cleaning and vacuuming the various rooms, but also cleaned the refrigerator, stove (inside and outside) and dishwasher. They even polished the door knobs. I would not hesitate to use this company again.

While they were accommodating with our schedule, they were not punctual. They were about an hour and a half late and the reason for the tardiness was not given. The guy I spoke with apologized and said he would make it right but there’s been no contact since. They did do a thorough job.

The cleaners were excellent! I thought I would have to supervise their cleaning but after my brief explanation, they started to work. They knew exactly what needed to be accomplished and completed the task. In addition, they were very polite and courteous. By the time the cleaners finished, I could see the colors of the walls again. The cleaners made a substantial difference. Additionally, their supervisor understood the complexity and time consumption of the task; he was responsive to my needs.

These folks really "wow'ed" me, and I'm not easily impressed. I am a middle age working woman who has always cleaned her own home. In the past, when I have needed to call in a service, I was underwhelmed with the quality. Not this time. I really appreciated Maribel and her co-worker very much. They WORKED HARD from the moment they entered to the moment they left. Since I don't have services regularly in my home, the cost seemed high to me at first, but I got what I paid for. I am now going to once per month, and the cost is better. I would recommend them!

I had a whole house deep cleaning, approximately 1900 square feet. It was team of four ladies and they finished the whole house in three and a half hours. It looks amazing! Sparkling! My house hasn't been this clean in such a long time. My husband and I both work full time, and I have a side business. So it's very difficult to find the time to do household chores. To increase the pressure, my in-laws will be visiting over the holiday season and my Mother-in-law is a meticulous cleaner. Nothing escapes her notice. The ladies from Elite did such an amazing job, I just know my Mother-in-law will not be able to find a single flaw! I'm so relieved. And it's wonderful to come home to a clean house! Thank you Elite! I will absolutely recommend and use Elite again!

I've had my house professionally cleaned for over 15 years. Finding a company that is professional, detail oriented for a fair price is like looking for a unicorn. Well, I can say that this company EXCEEDED my expectations. I knew my house would be a challenge for them, as I have 4.5 baths, and approx 4000 sq feet of cleaning with hard wood floors to boot. Elite Cleaning is the ONLY company that I can say actually "wowed" me with their attention to detail, and I couldn't believe what they were able to get done well in the time they were here. I almost fainted when I saw they actually cleaned out my fridge, oven, and cleaned the inside of windows. I can't even remember when this was done in the past few years! They were here exactly on time, and both ladies were very pleasant. The nice thing with this service is that you always get the same people to clean your house - which I appreciate! I was so impressed with them, I've scheduled monthly cleanings from now on. I would recommend this service to anyone who appreciates detail oriented cleaners for a fair price.

It took two workers five hours to complete the job - which was a lot longer than I expected it would take. But, when I got home I understood as the house was spotless! they did a fabulous job - including the baseboards. I've had my home cleaned by a few other services, but Elite has done the best job by far. They arrived on time and worked continuously. I will be using Elite bi-weekly from now on.I am very pleased with the service.

The quality of the cleaning was high caliber. They were thorough--bathroom, kitchen including all appliances, etc. If you ask them to do something in particular they will happily do it. It was easy to set up the appointment and now we will receive a monthly cleaning through them, which is great because my partner and I work full time and we have a dog that sheds a lot, so getting regular help with cleaning gives us more time to enjoy our weekends. Their pricing seems to match the going rate in the DC area.

DC Elite Cleaners have cleaned my home once per month for the last year and have done a great job. The crew leader is attentive to my requests and is very friendly and professional. Each time they come, I have them clean different parts of the house (depending on what most needs to be cleaned) and they are very flexible in cleaning all or some of the house. They also come on Saturdays, and from my initial calls to companies, is one of the few companies that is available on a Saturday. The manager was also helpful in addressing concerns I had about the amount I was charged when I was mistakenly not given the Angie's List discount for the second cleaning. Overall, I am pleased with this company and am planning to continue using them to clean my home.
