Description of Work: I purchased a $69 electrical system inspection and while the guy who showed up was nice enough, all he did was put his hand on the breaker box and say it was hot. He didn't not inspect any of the other areas we had issues with. He said a $2,000+ upgrade to the box would fix this and the other issues we had going on. This didn't sound right and I called in a different electrical company to double check this, because $2,000 is a lot of money, and they said the breaker box was fine and didn't need replacing. I guess I should have expected more for a $69 "inspection".

Description of Work: These gentlemen were terrific.I initially purchased an Angie's Deal for two hours of electrical service. I had two flush mount light fixtures installed. I pointed out a separate electrical job I needed done. I was quoted a very competitive price for the installation of 4 recessed lights and resolving an electrical dead zone. They performed both jobs in a professional, timely and efficient manner. I would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: installation of ceiling fan and kitchen ceiling light. |Ceiling fan was quickly installed, but kitchen light turned problematic due to faulty prior installation. Tim (proprietor of Paradise Construction) insisted on returning later the same day with no further charge, after purchasing a part he thought would enable installation of the light fixture. When that too didn't work, he bought another part and completed the installation pn a second day, without my being at | the apartment. |Tim is dedicated to customer service in a way that is exceptional. Old buildings like mine often present problems that aren't immediately apparent, so a quick and simple job can get complicated. Tim never said my big deal rate wouldn't apply when problems arose. He is a real pro, and I highly recommend him.

Description of Work: Tim was flexible on scheduling and arrived at my house by 7am to perform the work before I had to leave for the office. I had him install an outdoor outlet on my condo rooftop and link it to an existing switch that was no longer operational. He was quick and efficient and also able to give me some estimates on the spot for future work I am planning to do.

Description of Work: The service we asked for was a whole-house electrical inspection. We had not had an evaluation or upgrade since we moved into the house 35 years ago. We were pleased to learn we have no serious immediate concerns, but we are advised to have an upgrade, especially if we decide to sell the house. We were completely satisfied with the advice and general discussions we had with Tim Eddings, the project manager and electrician from Paradise Construction. We will definitely re-engage this firm when we are ready for the upgrade. In the meantime, we asked Paradise to install an outside pole light midway our 14 very dark concrete steps. Tim provided general advice about design and equipment and installed the light we purchased as soon as we called to say we were ready. We are delighted with the light and service provided by Paradise.

Description of Work: They installed a ceiling light fixture, fixed some lights that were not working and installed eight outlets. They are returning to fix my lamp post light due to the fact that the underground wire has broken. I was very impressed with their work and professionalism and will definitely use them in the future.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for a $99 ceiling fan installation from Paradise Construction. They did not contact me before the 06/05/2014 date, and when I contacted them they informed me it was for replacement only and it would be an additional $225 to install an electric box.
