Prompt diagnosis and replacement of original pump.

Very pleasant young man came to clean my furnace which had not been done in 6years. He spent about an hour in the basement, started up the furnace and immediately shut it down. He came upstairs and said that he emailed pictures to his boss of black smoke coming from the furnace and told me it was not safe to operate. He disconnected the furnace and tripped the fuse box so it could not start it and insisted that if I used it, the house would blow up. Tech stated several times that I was lucky to get 14 years out of this furnace and that he would have their furnace advisor contact me to schedule an appointment to discuss purhcasing a new one. He insisted that the person who installed the furnace took 2 parts off the old one and put them on the new furnace and the only other option was to invest 2k in repairs to replace those parts without a gaurantee it would work. Again, he pushed buying a new furnace from them. He refused to provide a written estimate of what parts had to be replaced, etc saying he was not allowed to do so. I hired Ted's Plumbing off Angie's list; the plumber took 3hrs to properly clean the furnace and showed me that the filter had not been cleaned or replaced; there was a hole that burned through the flue chute, etc. I contacted the service manager at Aiello for the tech's name and license number only to be told that he did not have access to the license info. After discussing the details w/him as to what occurred and the subsequent cleaning by another company; the service mgr offered 100% reimbursement w/o even looking at the other plumber's report. I went on ST of CT website and note that the tech who came to my home was licensed on 09/30/13. I received the reimb promptly but have grave concerns about them sending an unlicensed tech out to provide services for which he clearly is not qualified to do.

Rocco showed up promptly. He clearly explained what he had to do and why. He finished the job quickly and thoroughly. He was very professional and polite and answered all our questions to our satisfaction. Would definetly hire this company again and REQUEST ROCCO to fix things, as a level of trust was established.

My experience with Aiello was probably the best experience I have ever had dealing with a contractor in my home. I hired Aiello to do the Home Energy Assessment required by CLand P to get the attic insulation rebate. The tech, Tim, was very knowledgeable and professional. He explained all of the credits that were available and maximized the insulation and LED lighting credit that I could receive. Tim walked me through every step of the process. In assessing the insulation in my attic I asked Tim to check out an area where I thought mold could have been growing from a prior leak in my roof. Tim found the mold spot immediately and recommended a mold treatment which he completed a week later at a reasonable price. Tim texted me before and after photos of the mold. My experience was so positive that I am considering switching to Aiello fro my home heating services in the winter. I would definitely recommend Aiello to my friends and family.

1. The appointment lasted almost 2 hours and the salesman wanted to come back a 2nd time to give us his proposal. 2. After meeting with the other 3 companies and receiving their proposals via email, I emailed the Aiello salesman and requested his proposal via email as well. He sent an estimate for a very basic Goodman system. Yes, I mentioned that money was tight. I emailed him back advising him that after researching Goodman, I wasn't comfortable with their negative reviews and asked him to send me a proposal for a Lennox system. I also had a couple other questions which I emailed to him as well. I was shocked when he responded saying and quot;All of these questions is the reason why I set a second appointment with youand quot; and he didn't provide a Lennox quote. Really? Is it so hard to type out a couple emails to answers a few questions? Of course I wasn't going to respond to this type of email. About a week later he emails me asking if we were still on for our 2nd appt. I replied and told him my wife's mother had passed away and the service was the day of the appt. and to please cancel. I also asked once again for a Lennox system proposal. Did he send his condolences? No! The Lennox system proposal? No! 22 days later he emails me and says and quot;sorry for not getting back to you, I was on vacationand quot; and wants to know if I'm still interested in doing business with Aiello which of course was a no! 3. During the initial appointment, I asked the Aiello salesman about CHIF low rate home energy improvement loans. His response was and quot;good luck with thatand quot;. I asked why and he said I would first need a HES home energy audit (true) and any identified improvements must be completed by the homeowner before a loan can be approved (not true). He then told me about Aiello's partnership with Wells Fargo Credit at a significantly higher rate than CHIF. Dishonest about CHIF or not very well informed?? The company I hired to do the work not only informed me about CHIF loans and the correct requirements but also told me about the Smart-E Loan program which also has low rates. 4. I learned from googling and quot;Aiello Department of Consumer Protectand quot; that in 2011, they paid a 35,000 civil penalty. The DCP website stated the settlement was the result of consumer complaints to the Department over the last three years. 5. I didn't like Aiello's unprofessional company response to a F rated review on Angie's List from July 9, 2013.

.Aiello was called to evaluate why my gas-fired hot water baseboard heating system wasn't circulating any hot water, and providing no heat. A technician arrived and I advised him of the situation, and gave some background that I thought was pertinent. The technician stared at the boiler system for a while, then went back to his truck where he made a phone call. 10 minutes later, he came back in and advised the repairs would be approximately $1200 and require an additional technician, someone with more experience. When I negatively reacted to the estimate, he said he could get me a discount down to $1150 or so. I paid the $70 and quot;show-up feeand quot; and sent him away. The technician apparently had no experience with hot water heating systems. He performed absolutely no troubleshooting activity whatsoever, and thought that 2 components, the boiler fill valve and the circulator pump would need to be replaced. These items can be purchased for less than $150 total at a plumbing supply store. After Aiello left, I applied some common sense to the situation, and after consulting with a friend, began my own troubleshooting effort. It didn't take long to identify that multiple shut-off valves were in the closed position. I quickly managed to get 2 of my 3 zones up and operating, and am now working the third. I think it has an air pocket introduced from some remodeling work over the summer. The 2 components Aiello was going to replace seem to be working fine.

they gave a window of 11-3 showed up at 8:30 pm Good technician but I am not convinced we needed sensor repaired and the zone 2 issue was referred to another person - more money ded a guy to troubleshoot zone 2 gas is scary thing. - and overtime is expensive - I think I had a guy replace a valve for 236$ to cover OT when I needed a fix of zone 2 - still have and issue. Subsequent to my repair - I read another article that accused aiello of unwarranted repairs. A google search said I may have been okay with a quicj cleaning of the relaced sensor. Maybe or naybe not - I paid 326and and did not get zone 2 fixed - I now have one zone I think this guy was under pressure to make money. I still need a repair 326 later 30

Clean, fast installation - no problems. Price was very good verses the other contractors. In fact one of the other contractors recomended a different version of the system 2000 and it was Aiello who pointed out that that type of sysyem (stacked boiler) would not work. When the issue was pointed out to that contractor - they agreeded. System has been running about a year - no problems and significat oil savings.

Salesperson showed us different options As we wanted to have central air installed In our home....showed us different options Then recommended unit right for our application Then when all said and done gave us an outrageous price of 12-15000 installed....basically Wasting our time and theirs....will NOT use this company again for ANYTHING. ..we still do Not have central air in our home....any members out there....help...!!! Homeowners out there Please beware....!!!

I did not use them because after I got the quote I had some follow up questions and they guy never got back to me. The guy that came was very friendly and knowledgeable. He had some good suggestions. He did get back to me quickly initially but then I asked for some additional information and I never heard from him again.

I called up Aiello to look at my Air conditioning. It was not blowing cold air.Its a 11 yr Carrier. The technician who came in said that the compressor is gone and I have replace the entire unit. He initially tried replacing the capacitor and installing a hard start kit Few days later the sales manager came in and gave me a quote for 3900$. Few days later I had called upon another contractor to come and look at the unit, and he told me it just needed a hard start kit. Once he installed and replaced a capcitor, the compressor started up and the AC was blowing cold air. Don't use Aiello, they misdiagnose to make you buy their HVAC units. Their labor and parts are not cheap either.

The service of Aiello Home Services was excellent.

not good the system have a water cutoff the tech hit it with out knowing and said the system is dead and it will cost 299.00 to found out how to fix it well he left call a new company fix it in 2 mins and clean it all is well

I really like Aiello. They always do great work and I can count of them to do it right. They are a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for I guess. I called for appt in the morning and they were there by 2:00 that afternoon.The outdoor faucet had been leaking when turned on. I was unable to fix it using DIY advice because the screw was stripped. I thought it would be a quick and easy fix for the plumber, but it required removing the entire existing faucet and replacing with a new one which required metal work which I was unable to do on my own. Rocco was very pleasant. Gave me the estimate and was able to complete the repair/replacement in about an hour. Price aside, I was very pleased with my experience.

The technician was prompt and friendly. He wore protective shoe covers while in the house and used the basement hatchway when servicing the burner and the lower ac unit. He was thorough and knowledgeable, explaining what he had done on each system. He was at our house for two hours and I felt the price of service was reasonable. We have always had a good experience with Aiello. We had one heating issue in winter at 9:00 at night and they had a technician at our home within an hour. We were very impressed.

They were kind and did the work they said they were going to do. Everything went fine.

I called for an appointment. The service tech arrived at the specified time. He diagnosed the problems quickly and explained the repair needs well, including outlining several options at different price points. He did the work within the time frame and without any surprises. i would hire Shawn and Aiello again without hesitating.

My dad needed a new toilet, as his broke suddenly. Aiello was able to come out the same day, and quickly replaced it with one they happened to have on the truck. They charged him about $700, which seemed ok, given the quick response. Unfortunately, it was not installed correctly and has been leaking. He re-contacted them, as they warranty their work, and they have come out twice, but the leaking continues. All they ever do it tighten the bolts, while we believe they did not install a new wax ring, and that is what is needed. Now they tell him it's the actual toilet, and want him to spend another $800 to have them replace the one they put in that was never right. He is 87 years old and it seems clear that they feel that he is at their mercy. However, he now will probably go to another plumber, even though it will cost him as much to start over with someone else, but he'd rather do that than deal with Aiello any longer. Update: Aiello has now come out and replaced the apparently defective toilet with a new one, at no charge. The situation appears to be corrected, and my dad is satisfied with the outcome.

I went with them because of the price and warranty. They did a really good job. They were on time and clean. They had a lot of guys here working. They beat other guys on the pricing and they had the best installation approach. I would definitely use them again.

It was a nightmare. The Aiello techs (there were two guys that originally came to my house) put the wrong sized nozzle in the furnace and after a couple of months of improper burning massive amounts of soot built up and spread from my furnace into my basement and up through my house. It was a disaster. I called Aiello and they came back to check out the problem and clean the furnace. They denied they had anything to do with all the soot and would not pay to clean up of my house. Then, the young man (early 20s) cleaning the soot from my furnace broke the combustion chamber with his vacuum cleaner. Aiello wanted to charge me close to $1000 to fix the combustion chamber their tech broke! I was outraged. I hired someone else to fix the combustion chamber for $350. Needless to say Aiello has not stepped foot in my house since that incident. In short, Aiello charges way too much for their "services," they fail to take responsibility for issues they cause and I would not recommend them to my worst enemy.

They gave us estimates ahead of time. They were very polite. They were very considerate about our home and because we had used them before they waived the call fee to come down and do the estimate. They were just really easy to work with and very pleasant on the phone. They were really reliable.

LOOK ELSEWARE - YOU MIGHT FIND GOOD SERVICE AT A LOWER PRICE ALTHOUGH I'M SURE AIELLO DO A FIRST RATE JOB

Shawn was very professional and pleasant from the greeting at the door to the end where he explained the print out on my furnace. The whole job took about 1 hour and he explained everything that he was going to do and even gave me some pointers on how to save extra money by doing a few things down in my basement that didn't ;necessarily relate to my furnace. As usual it was a pleasant expierence with this company and Shawn just added to that!

I had a very old water heater that started to make what sounded like a hissing noise and I was concerned that it was going to start leaking. I have 2 water heaters in the house and when the other one needed to be replaced I used Aiello, was happy with the service and have had no issues with that unit which is about 5 years old. I asked Aiello to do an evaluation of the troubled unit and to do a faucet repair. They were able to come the same day I called. The technician arrived on time and was very informative. He determined that the water heater could be repaired, however given it's age (20 years), it was not advised. I agreed that a replacement was the way to go. He used his Aiello standard price list to tell me what it would cost for both jobs. As I expected, the price was on the high end. I asked for it to be placed on a drip pan and connected to a drain pipe. He was able to do that for an additional fee. They don't offer a selection of models, however the ones they use are professional grade. When he was done he cleaned up as if he were never there. To sum up, very good service but for a price.

The services was great. I was very happy with the service and outcome.
