The service on the phone was terrible. I was looking for a quote, which i had 3 others already, to install a whole house humidifier. I was told there would be a $75 quote charge!! I explained how i had already received quotes and would base my decision off the best price. I was then told, after talking to her manager, that if i awarded the contract to them, they would discount the $75 from the price. I explained that $75 is a lot of money for a quote, and if they didnt get the job, i am out that money! They didnt seem to be bothered by that, and i went with another company. It seems very strange in this day in age to charge a potential customer a large fee for a quote when 99% of the other companies provide this service free of charge!

They were the only plumber that was available to come out on a sunday. All other plumbing companies such as Benjamin Franklin, which I have a contract for, and Rapid Services were booked with emergency appointments for the next 48 hours. Aiell, though very expensive, was the only company that came out within 2 hours.

Response was prompt but cost high and results mixed, for example the new furnace air filter was left partly sticking out of its holder and the results of the operating temperature tests were left unexplained on a 4 inch by 1 inch strip of paper found on the basement floor.

Plumber told me if I buy from them - would cost me $1,000 for al - they only use ToTo products - expensive. Told me to buy my own unit - and if I could not install - they could do it for $300 - $400.

Apparently there are multiple Aiello Home Services locations. We called the 888-696-2089 number and were paid a visit by Pete, whose office number is 860-265-4646 ( Out of Enfield ?). Pete came out yesterday morning to our Ellington home, within a few hours after we reported a leak. He identified it was the hose from the sprayer in the faucet, and general deterioration in the faucet. He advised us to go to Home Depot or Loews and gave us detailed options of what to purchase and advised us we had many choices to choose from. He came out today and installed the new faucet and soap dispenser. Yesterday I would say he was there about 15 minutes in total and today was there about 45 minutes from start to clean-up. He explained things as he was going along. He was personable, knowledgeable and efficient. Yesterday he quoted us $360 and showed us the price, which was as listed in his book for service fees. I am guessing those are company policy prices, and not set by the individual plumbers. My husband and I felt this price was a little high, but we wanted it done ASAP and we were not in a position to go hunt down pricing to know if this was a fair price or not. We realize it costs more when it is a rush job, etc..etc...Not sure if yesterday being Veteran's Day had any impact or not. But anyway, we were very satisfied with the service provided. He did clean up everything and wore foot coverings the whole time.

It was a great experience. Our second time going with Aiello the first time was for a new furnace and again not disappointed. They were prompt and knowledgeable about what needed to be done. They also worked with me financially. A little on the pricey side but I do believe you get what you pay for and I have no regrets. Thanks Mike D. And crew!!

All went well. On time (within reason). job well done. Came same day (which is good). just a little pricey

I had scheduled Aiello to do a Home energy audit primarily to air seal the house. Three techs came out as scheduled and worked throughout the day to 1. air seal 2. install enery efficient cfl bulbs 3. install flow reducing adapters on all water outlets. The techs were courteous and explained the process before they started. The air sealing portion was the most difficult part of the job and needed a blower door test to identify leaks. Being an old house, there were plenty of them. While two of the techs were working on the bulbs and flow reducers, one tech was working on finding leaks. The whole process took about 8-9 hours in all with the majority of the time being spent on sealing leaks. The crew took about an hour for lunch around noon before resuming work. I can estimate that about 60% of the leaks were addressed in all. They couldn't get to caulking around the windows and some portions of the attic were not completely sealed because it was getting quite late in the day. Overall, it was a good experience. Will work with Aiello again.

Terrible, just terrible. If you want to p*** away 49.00 for nothing and never see or hear from them again, then this is your company. I waited a few days and then tried calling to find out what the problem with the water was. For days I was told it wasn't ready yet, this after the 2 days the tech told me it would take. Left messages for manager who would not return calls. I'd even called and was told I could sit on hold and wait for him to be done with his present phone call. I asked if he could simply call me as soon as he was done. An hour later I called again and was told he had started helping another customer and never bothered to call me back, this after numerous messages were left. Finally, my husband talked to someone and was told that they wouldn't discuss the problem with us because we were renters and not the home owners. Huh. Funny they had no problem taking the RENTERS money when they came out. This was a week or 2 now and I had already found another company who tested my water for free. So now I just wanted my 49.00 back. Why would they come out and take my money knowing we were the renters and then just not talk to us again? It wasn't until we spoke to the main office in Windsor Locks and threatened to talk to the owner that we got anyone to talk to us. Now I was told the money would take at least 30 days to refund. 30 days? Why? We were also told it probably wouldn't take that long. So weeks later I called and asked where the refund was. I was told they had to wait for the check to clear. Well it doesn't take 3-4 weeks for any check to clear. She told me it would be sent on Aug.1st. So I emailed on that day to make sure it was getting done and the email I received back did not guarantee me anything. I only got the same, and quot;well it takes 30 daysand quot; reply. So I fired back an email and told them if I didn't get my money back within 2 days, I was going to the owner. Amazing how I got the check 2 days later. What a nightmare. I would never use this company again for anything. If you want to pay a service fee to check a problem or get an estimate, and then never hear from them again, this is your company. If you want help and don't want someone to rip you off, try Aqua Pump. I know now the system this house needs is thousands of dollars. Aeillo's loss!

Called for water leakage in kitchen ceiling. Steve was very casual. He said that problem is pipe condensation and he can not do anything about it. He reffered to water mitigation services (WMS), who came for evaluation and said that there seems to be leakage somwhere. Called Steve again, he did not come and remained firm that it is pipe condensation. Next day, WMS guys came and suspect water leak again. Steve was contacted. Without having another look, he asked the guys to demo upper level bathroom !!!! We were not satisfied and had another plumber, who found there was actual pipe leak. Saved BR to be demo. Very poor service, casual attitude and not diagnosing the problem. Worse over phone asking to demo things not needed at all

Very professional. Quality work. Explained very well and made sure we understood. They have good quality products. Done in quoted timeframe. Very satisfied

They said i needed a certain amount products for my shower, and asked me if i could get it. When they finished, i felt like i payed for far too much product, that i didn't need in the end.

Aiello install the system 2000 about a year and 1/2 ago. Cost was about $7500. I recently had them perform a service cleaning on the burner and had them check the AC. I was given a time of 7am to 8am for the technician to arrive. He was on the dot of 7 am. Did an excellent job on the furnace. The AC however was way down on coolant. The unit is about 28 years old and may not be worth fixing. I have a quote for a new unit from Aiello and plan to get two other quotes shortly. On the furnace install Aiello did a great job - I have no complaints. The crew was professional and you could tell that this team had been together for a long while.

They took care of me and are a great company. They had to come back to service the A/C unit for multiple days and fixed everything. They determined it was the thermostat and installed a new one. They brought in a top guy to fix the thermostat and was a little high pressured but they did make it right. They communicated everything that was needed to complete the job. They did have to cut a whole in the ceiling but they sent someone right away to fix this issue. It only took him 10 minutes.

They failed to accomplish the mission and in fact wasted 30 minutes of our time to tell us if they were to precede it would cost$200 dollars an hour. Un heard of. Such a rip off.

It all started off well enough until I mentioned that we were tenants in the unit and that our landlord told us to call for service on her behalf. At that point, I was asked, and quot;How much do you want it to cost her?and quot; We declined to use this company and sought a more ethical solution and company.

Sales man was pushy and tried to sell me a unit that I didn't need. When I tried to explain what I was looking for continued to push a unit called System 2000 for a price that was a lot more than I could afford.

Unfortunately, we were not very happy. They were not on time and then when they had to finish the concrete from chopping through the basement floor for the plumbing it was anything but finished. It was uneven and lumpy and we would not have been able to lay the floor level the way they left it. We called the supervisor and at first were told that's they way they do it. After insisting that they fixed it properly they finally brought in a mason. Thank goodness the mason did a beautiful job.

When I called they said they were too busy to even come out to take a look. Suggested I call someone else.

We were expecting company and they came right away two days before Christmas and serviced us well. Our plumber has retired so this was our first time using Aiello. They said they would be at our house between one and four and they were here about one. They said they were a little early. They were very good. We thought we had tree or shrub roots in our septic pipes but the person who came felt it was something that did not need them to clean out the pipe which would have cost quite a bit of money. Instead they used a material that they put in the bathroom and it cleared all the drains up. It was very well done and it would have cost us a lot of money to have everything snaked out, but we did not need to have that done at all. What they did worked because we have not had trouble with that bathroom ever since. At the time we were pleased with the cost because we did not have time for comparing. Everything else was perfect and the person who came out and went wore the proper clothing to do what he had to do because it was strong material that he had to put into our drains. He was very courteous and professional.

Contacted Aiello at 4PM on Sat. 1/11/14 after our main drain burst and waste water was leaking into the crawl space. On-Call tech returned my call within an hour and scheduled a technician to be onsite the next AM, Sun at 8AM. Tech showed up on-time and assessed the issue, but did not have the parts required to fix stocked on truck. He provided an estimate and scheduled another call for the next AM. Again the tech arrived when promised. The issue in the house was resolved but it was discovered that the sewer line was clogged as well. The technician attempted to clear the line (part of estimate provided previously) but was unable to and the snake he was using became stuck. He scheduled another tech more familiar with this type of work to come the following AM, Tue. This tech actually showed up early, and quickly determined that the line could not be cleared, and needed to be replaced. He provided an estimate to do so. This estimate seemed quite high to us and we got estimates from two other companies which were much lower and chose to use one. We were a little disapointed that the sewer line replacement quote was so high, especially considering we paid $800 to have the sewer line cleared and this was not actually accomplished. Otherwise we were very pleased with the response, work, and professionalism.

No problems... connected new hot/cold shower valves..completed in about 90-minutes. Charged $1,700.00 less $150 discount. Parts cost maybe about $600 So 1.5 hrs. labor about $1,000.00 !!!

Overall competent ... but no extra effort and very expensive.
