Description of Work: Mr. Gilbert came to our house and said that he would give us a quote for the work to be done. We never received a quote, even after several phone messages were left over two weeks. Perhaps he was very busy.

Description of Work: Changed the flappers on 2 toilets. I called about 1, but had him check on the other 2. One oer one needed to be replaced so he did it. He ordered a new handle and plans to return when the part comes in. I

Description of Work: I must say Peter helped us out a lot in our situation. He went out of his way to come over on a Saturday (His Day Off) to install the water heater. We had initially scheduled the install on a Friday and he came and did the job very quickly. Unfortunately, to both our surprise the brand new heater started leaking right after it filled up. I had to run to a local Bradford White distributor to get another unit which Peter took the time to install the following day. He did not charge me extra for working on a Sat. He just charged his hourly labor rate. Peter is very professional. He definitely knows what he is doing. I would recommend Peter for any plumbing job.

Description of Work: We did a total kitchen remodel this summer and Gilbert Plumbing did all the new plumbing work and some additional repairs while the ceilings and walls were gutted. Jason replaced the leaking master shower drain, repaired the kitchen drain vent and all the supply valves for sink and dishwasher. We also decided to add a bar sink at the other end of the kitchen and Jason ruffed in all the new supply lines, drain lines and vent. We also added a built in coffee pot at he bar sink counter which required its own cold water supply line. When the counters and sinks were installed at the end of the project Jason returned to do all the final hookups to faucets and drains. Jason is an awesome plumber. I say this because I have worked in the construction fields for over twenty years and also own a home inspection company. I have seen many plumbers and can recognize quality when I see it. He is very fussy about his work. He is fast and insists on cleaning up after himself. I also had no problem trusting Jason to work in my home when I couldn't be there.

Description of Work: Fixed leaky toilet and fixed a couple of incidental leaks as well.
