Description of Work: Highland Window Company installed new siding and gutters on our house. Marc, the owner, was great. He was involved every step of the way, and always checked in to make sure we were happy. His crew did an awesome job. And on top of that, they were all so nice and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for new siding!

Description of Work: Marc is absolutely fabulous. One of the owners of the company, he comes out gives you a quote - doesn't give you high-pressure - no gimmicks just a fabulous price and fabulous service. You owe it to yourself to at least get a quote from Highland windows before you commit to anyone else.

Description of Work: We just got a quote to install a bay window. He gave us a quote on the spot and told us all the work that would be required for the installation. We decided to put the work off for a year since we are doing a kitchen reno this year. They were very friendly and helpful.

Description of Work: Highland did a great job on my new box windows. I showed Marc and his installers a picture of how I wanted the exterior trim to look, and they did a beautiful job. They also did a perfect job cleaning up both inside and outside after the installation. The price was competitive with other quotes.

+ -1 moreEverything went very smoothly. The sash was delivered to my house 8 days later. I then called them to inform them I received it, and Mark came immediately thereafter to fix it. It was a minor fix and took a few minutes to correct. When they say lifetime guarantee they mean it. I would heartily recommend them!!!!!!
Description of Work: I bought my energy efficient windows from Highland approximately 2 years ago and received a lifetime warranty. I had a minor problem with one of the lower sashes and called to have it fixed. They took my call immediately and ordered a new bottom sash for the concerned window. and had it delivered to my house 8 days later. I then called and informed them I received it, and Mark came immediately thereafter to fix it. It was a minor change that took only a few minutes to install. When they say lifetime guarantee, they really mean it!!!!!!!!!!

+ 0 moreI have never had such a wonderful experience working with a contractor. The salesman took measurements and gave me an estimate before he left! As he was leaving my husband came home and once again he reviewed the project with him. Windows very high quality. Guarantees better than any other manufacturer. Work was scheduled to begin on August Th. Due to heavy rain, it was canceled. Foreman called us at 7:00 am to let us know. Windows were in place the next day. Finish work second day. Inside trim was primed only. When I groaned at the thought of painting it, Junior said he would take care of it. He spray painted them for me before installing the second day. All the work was impeccable. Everyone I dealt with was wonderful! When the crew left, I felt like I had made new friends. They worked hard. Marc (owner) visited twice during the project. Monika (office) followed up each day to see how things were going. These people are the greatest. I would highly recommend Highland Windows to anyone.
Description of Work: Replaced all windows in home (casements & double hung). This job entailed removing siding and creating frames for new windows and wrapping with vinyl coated aluminum. Framing around garage was redone along with kick board for front door. Shutters were install in front of house.

+ -1 moreI made an appointment with Marc, and he came out when scheduled. He demonstrated his window, and gave me a quote on the spot. They were flexible in scheduling an installation date around my schedule. The actual installation was done in one day, and they carted their trash and the old windows away when done. We are very happy so far, and can't wait to see how they preform this Winter.
Description of Work: Marc and his crew did an excellent job installing 8 double hung replacement windows in our house. The windows are highly energy efficient (qualifying for the current energy tax credit) well-made windows. The price was competitive with other bids we received. The 3 workers were on time and installed the windows in one day, making sure they were properly positioned and insulated. They cleaned up thoroughly, and left the house as they found it. I would recommend Highland Windows to anyone who wants quality windows installed efficiently at a good price.

+ -1 moreThe work wad done in a very professional manner. They came as promised and took 3 days to finish installing replacement windows. The men were very efficient, cleaned up daily, were very pleasant, and did an excellent job. The windows look terrific and the price was very competitive. Marc Cowan was very accommodating and had some great suggestions when meeting with us. It was a pleasure meeting with the president of the company instead of someone who seems to read a script in a sales presentation.
Description of Work: We installed casement windows throughout a large ranch house, including sliders on a sunporch. They also took down all of our window treatments and put them back when finished. They left the house looking great.

+ -1 moreI did not go with them. It was good pricing but it was a very low-end model. He didn't market it as such but I had already done research and it wasn't a window that I was looking for. I wanted a little better window. He only sold one brand and I wasn't excited about that brand. I didn't like the brand and I had read bad reviews on it. He was very professional and probably one of the most professional quotes and person that came out. I didn't go with him just because of the brand.
