We have had many home renovation projects done over the past two years. Marc and his team replaced most of our windows about 6 months ago. Of all the services we had done, I would put Marc & Highland Windows at the top of the list. Great product, great value, very responsive, very professional. We shopped around plenty before deciding on Highland, and we very happy we went with them.

I can’t speak highly enough of Marc Cowan. He installed new windows for me 14 years ago. Recently one window got broken and needed to be replaced. He did replace it for me without cost. He and his crew are gentlemen. Jane O.

Mr. Cowan may be the most honest and trustworthy contractor I’ve ever worked with. After feeling bamboozled by contractor after contractor over a siding issue we were being told could only be remedied by a full vinyl siding install, Marc shot me straight and we were able to repair a few small areas to save our existing siding and saved tens of thousands of dollars. He was so knowledgeable and helpful through the whole process. I wouldn’t consider hiring anyone except him for future projects.

Marc was an excellent and very responsive communicator throughout the entire process! His pricing is fair and competitive and, as promised, there were no surprises from his end. His crew was thorough, professional and meticulous. We had all of the windows in our 1948 home (and 1960s addition) replaced at once. I get pretty anxious about having work done in our home, but Marc listened well, allayed my concerns and followed through on all of his commitments to us. Our house had some surprises and complications that arose during our window install and Marc's crew was very balanced and thorough in their response and in finding solutions. His team does beautiful work, which impressed me throughout the project. We did have a couple of issues arise and Marc addressed everything right away, even personally coming by each time to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. We give Highland Window Co. our highest recommendation!

We interviewed several companies for our siding project and settled on Highland. The decision was easy. Marc Cowan, the owner, was professional, responsive, and very helpful in defining the project and preparing us for the work to be done. Among other things, he provided addresses for past and present job sites, so that we could see his company’s work. Once our project started, he kept in regular contact with us, answering all of our questions, addressing concerns, and checking in to make sure that we were happy with how the project was progressing. Arsen, who did the detailed work (including vinyl trim for over 40 windows), is a perfectionist. We were so impressed with the quality of his work, as well as his “can do” attitude. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with how the project came out and would whole-heartedly recommend Highland to others.

The guys did a great job, even upgraded then flashing on the roof and replaced some rotted wood. Very happy with the work. Highly professional job.

Marc Cowan and his Highland Window Company are the best, from quotation to completion. We are extremely happy with our new Harvey windows and the installation crew Neal, Hilton and Dean, was fantastic. We can't recommend Highland Windows highly enough! Marc was a pleasure to work with. He answered any questions I had, gave me his opinion when prompted and did not try to upsell me. He was onsite for the start and completion of the project. His team was professional and extremely hard working. They covered the furniture prior to installing the windows and left the job site neat and organized. When an unanticipated problem came up Marc was very responsive and immediately addressed and mitigated the issue. He did not consider the job to be complete until I was totally satisfied. I had a question a few months after install and he showed the same attentiveness. I have recommended Highland Windows to several friends who have also been completely satisfied.

Marc and the team at Highland Window Company are top notch! A few years ago they installed a bay window for me, so when it came time to do my siding I knew just who to call. Marc is professional, knowledgable and very pleasant! From the first phone call to the completion of my siding project he was engaged and hands-on. Excellent quality, excellent service, great customer service, on time installation

We called Marc because he and his team did such a beautiful job on other windows we had put in, naturally we called him again for this window. They haven’t changed. Marc came right out, ordered the window and within six weeks it was installed. It looks great! The installers came on time, were very neat, professional and friendly. Thanks again Marc and Team!

Highland had the fastest response time with providing an estimate. They also had the best price across all estimates. They came when they said they would which was well within our desired time frame. And most importantly, did the work professionally, quietly, clean and with A+ quality output. We will definitely have the Highland crew back.

I am a single mom on a very tight budget that desperately needed new windows last year to replace the old, drafty, 1957 aluminum windows on my house. I contacted probably half a dozen companies about having all new windows installed and Marc from Highland Windows stood out as my best option. He was the owner, appeared very sincere, offered a quality window, and had a very fair price. (I found out later from an independent contractor that the line of windows Marc uses is considered one of the best choices, the price Marc quoted me was excellent, and to boot - Highland Windows is very highly respected in the industry 👍). Marc was always prompt and kept his appointments. The day the windows were installed he sent out men that had been working for him for 10+ years and they knew their business, were extremely kind, and did an excellent job cleaning up - not a speck of dust and even curtains were hung back up! I had a small snafu (that was entirely) my own error around Christmas this year. I sent Marc an email on the weekend and he responded immediately that someone would be there first thing on Monday. Turns out it was an embarrassing user-error on my part to which I apologized and he said “nothing to apologize for!” It was very reassuring though that had their been a real issue he would be on top of it ASAP. Now the best part.... I bought my house on a budget last year with the original 1957 aluminum windows and nearly original 1957 insulation, which as you can imagine was a huge energy drainer. I went through nearly 900 gallons of oil last season for a 1000 sq ft home. I was fortunately lucky to be able to have my house fully insulated in addition to the all new Highland Windows. I told Marc I was excited to see how much energy savings I was going to have this season and he reigned me in saying “it should be better, but don’t expect too much”, to which I said “I hope you’re wrong!” I am happy to report that this season, as of March 15, I have only used 180 gallons of oil! I am projected to only use around 275 for the entire 2018-19 winter season! My oil company said even though it’s been a mild winter, that may be the lowest oil consumption she’s ever seen in a 1000 sq ft home! I know my results are too the extreme end of the spectrum, but it’s still hard to believe I cut my oil bill by 2/3rd! I would absolutely recommend Highland Windows to anyone considering their services!

Marc was very accommodating our schedule and crew was extra nice when they came to install the windows. It took them 2 and a half days to finish the work. Everything went surprisingly smooth.

Our project consisted of replacing 16 Double Hung windows, 2 picture windows.....1 upgraded to a bay window and the other converted to 2 double hung, front entry door and swapping out a french door patio unit with a traditional slider. All the windows were Harvey windows and the Bay window and slider were custom made by Alside windows. Right from the start we knew that Marc knew what he was talking about, and that the job would be done right. Sometimes you just have to go with your gut. From our first meeting Marc explained everything without us even having to ask....we had been down this road before replacing windows at our previous home....we just knew the job would be done right. I had NO idea what to expect insofar as the size of the job, but it turned out to be a HUGE project.....Marc's team of Neil, Hilton and Tom were here for nearly 4 days....took longer than they planned but that was because they ran into issue that hadn't been foreseen....but Neil (the foreman) knew exactly what to do and all of the "extras" were taken care of with precision the likes of an artist....he truly takes pride in his work...they ALL do! Marc was on site each day to check in on the progress and answer any questions that we had along the way. Suffice it to say, it looks like we have a new home...the windows are spectacular....clear...easy to open/close....and we are now DRAFT FREE! Thank you to Marc and his team....definitely going to tell our neighbors....and one has already asked for the contact info!! :)

Mark was wonderful to work with from start to finish. His crew was great, work has been fantastic. We had old wood siding with lots of holes, old windows and door. All were replaced. There was one minor issue shortly after install that he took care of immediately. I would highly recommend!

Marc and his team did a great job. From the start, Marc was responsive, personable and patient – and remained so throughout the project! He was always willing to answer my questions/concerns to make sure I was pleased with the work. When problems arose (just a minor few), Marc handled them efficiently and in my best interest. All workers were polite and hard working. His lead sider, Arsen, also took time to respond to me and took great care in his trim work. Without question, I would hire Marc and his team in the future.

Mark was very professional and knowledgeable on the initial assessment. After listening to our needs, he politely declined, assessing that we would not be satisfied with the result given their vinyl (vs wood) product line. I was absolutely appreciative of his honesty and professionalism - Highland is an impeccable example of a customer centric business!

Marc is extremely responsive, personable, professional, proactive, knowledgeable and he has a team that is equally superb when installing new windows and siding. It’s weird to think you could enjoy working with a contractor so much, but I really appreciated all of Marc’s help. I literally emailed him dozens of times even before we decided to work with him with many questions and he always responded quickly with his suggestions. Once we confirmed we would work with him, his responsiveness and proactivity continued! Always checking in on how the jobs were going, being cognizant of our newborn when visiting, and just generally being a good human.
