Had them redo a fireplace with stacked stone and pave a short section of walkway with concrete pavers. Very responsive when contacted via phone, very good price. There were a few discussions about some of the work quality on the fireplace, but ultimately those were resolved and the result is what we were looking for.

We had a great impression of John from the start. He understood our design request and he and his guys did an amazing job. We had a front walkway put in in less than a week. Their attention to detail and exceptional workmanship surpassed our expectations and we couldn't be happier. We've asked him back for another project...thanks guys!

I hired Talos to do my paver walkway and steps. John was the last of three estimates I got and I'm glad I took the time to get the third quote. From the beginning john was very professional and really payed attention to what my vision was for the project. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is impeccable. John and his crew of guys showed up when they said they would even through an awful week of rainy weather. Most importantly John completed the work exactly how I wanted. They cleaned up everyday, placed new top soil on areas of grass that had to be removed to do the job, even smoothed out the mulch that had to be moved around. John was onsite to to do the work along with his guys which showed me he cared about the image his company portrays. Overall the job exceeded my expectations, the steps, walkway and, Belgium block border looks amazing. I would recommend him to anyone. Take my advice and call John for an estimate on your project before you move forward with anyone else. By far Talos Masonry was the best experience I've ever had with a contractor and I have done many projects over the years.

Incomplete work, discovered a loose step in a dangerous position and found there was no mortar between the stones of the foundation. Returned to put a temporary fix with a wedge for the loose step. Broken promises to return and permanently fix the problem. It���s a shame since the work progressed fine until these last issues.

I am very pleased with the retaining wall and other masonry work that Talo's Masonry completed for me. John was extremely informative about every detail that needed to be done, very courteous and worked very hard on rearranging his schedule because the condition of the wall was a big safety hazard. John and his crew worked extremely hard to complete the project very efficiently with great quality and total professionalism. I definitely intend to have Talo's Masonry do more work . John is totally dedicated to his customers which is very rare to find today.

I wrote a review below. It is important to me to correct it. John has bought 1 ton of asphalt to repair the edge of the driveway. The patio extended to the driveway, so expected there would be some cracking. Refreshing to deal with an honest business person, and high quality craftsmanship. He's doing our daughters work now. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Will use him for front work next season.

I wrote a review below. John came back, he paid for a ton of hot asphalt, as that is all they will sell. he is going to pave the edge of the driveway. I did refer him to my daughter. I gave him a not so good rating below accidentally, thinking I could change it later. John is an honest business man, a hard quality to find these days. He and his staff are talented, clean, and courteous. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND HIM!

The patio looks geourgeous. They cracked and broke the edge of the driveway. They put cold patch down and did not tamp it. John says if not better in 2 weeks he would return. It is hot and the cold patch is sticky and pliable. I noticed 1 spot where they patched I could see air space under the driveway asphalt. They should have told me, so I could have filled it. Instead, they cold patched. Probley a matter of time before driveway caves in now. I will see if he makes good and get back here to change my rating accordingly.

We are very pleased with the work completed by Talo's Masonry. They did a beautiful job on my driveway and walkway. The crew was very courteous, cleaned up after themselves and were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them for their outstanding quality work!

i am difficult, and added things, and want what i want. They were great, and did a really nice job. The only person to get frustrated with me would be my husband. I would hire them for any other stone work, they worked steady, finished within week (5 days) and beautiful

We found John Talo and his workers to be excellent! We had two fireplaces stacked with granite, floor to ceiling, with granite hearths. The ceilings were 9 and 16 feet, respectively, and they did a beautiful job. Had great suggestions, did quality work, were on time and finished just when they said they would. Can't recommend them highly enough and we will certainly use them again for outdoor work in the spring.

John and his crew did an great job. Part of what was n eeded were repairs made to a 54 year old stacked stone. The artisan who worked on that made a special effort to match the original wall - you have to look really hard to see where the repairs were made. And what sealed the deal is when I asked for a reference, the owner brought me to two of his work sites. John kept all commitments - from the promised day he would get back to me to schedule the job to starting the actual job. They also were very quick, neat and cleared up all debris from the work site that day they completed the project.
