Our experience with Talos Masonry was outstanding !!! We had our front and back steps rebuilt, a 30 ft retaining done, and other draining issues resolved. John, is very professional, and we relied on his experience to help us make the best decisions for our needs. Additionally, Talos Masonry has a strong team of hard working individuals that provide quality work while getting the job done quickly. A big thumbs up to John and his team !!

John responded to my inquiry immediately. He was extremely knowledgeable and willing to work with me on repairing the 18 year-old paver patio around our pool. We discussed several options and decided on the one that was best to suit my needs. The project was started within days and finished in a week in 90 degrees+ heat and humidity. The result was a newly constructed patio. The work was neat and complete and professionally hand crafted. We would recommend John and his crew highly.

John and his team were fantastic from start to finish! We hired Talo's in May to complete a roughly 20' x 20' bluestone paver patio in our backyard. The estimate process was straightforwardâ John came in person and helped us imagine the design we were hoping for, and then followed-up two days later with another in-person visit to bring multiple stone options for us to choose from. He walked us through every aspect of how to work would be completed, what steps they would need to take in order to ensure the patio was level, drained properly, and achieved the design we hoped for. Our property is on a steep hill and backyard access was difficult, but John and his team made it work! We were anticipating a week to complete the patio but John and his team of six (!) all mobilized to our job and completed it in only three and a half days. And they did it in such great time WITHOUT cutting corners! Every step of the process was done meticulouslyâ the patio is level, it drains properly because John recognized the need to tie it into our existence drainage system around the back of the house to accommodate the slope of our yard. There are no loose stones, and they achieved a beautiful winding curve shape to the patio that we were looking for. The stones are set beautifully, the concrete and sand feel so secure, and the look of the stonework on the single step down from our back door onto the patio is absolutely stunning. We couldn't be happier with how the work turned out, and would recommend Talo's Masonry to anyone looking for a patio or stonework project in the area! In terms of pricing, we shopped around A LOT and ended up with 9 estimates from different companies. Talo's was right in the middle of those estimates for this project, and the materials he used for this are clearly of the quality we would expect for the price pointâ and as stated above the work itself was immaculate!

John and his team came out to quote our job the same day we inquired, came back quickly to meet with my wife and I with design ideas, and started the project 2 days later. He and his team worked hard and finished the large patio we had built in 3 days. Could not have turned out better and they built the exact patio my wife and I were looking for in our back yard

I have been A do-it-yourself guy forever but with the aging process in effect I have decided to seek some help in home repairs. My on-line research for some masonry work resulted in a few calls in which Talo's Masonry (John) was the only one that left a message. Communication, punctuality, thoroughness, friendliness and quality are a few things that stand out. John and his crew have increased the curb appeal of my residence and I couldn't be happier.

John gave us an estimate and some design thoughts on replacing a retaining wall and walkway. We liked his point of view. Took a few weeks before they could start, but crew arrived on time and did an excellent job. We replaced rotting timber’s with masonry wall and a bluestone slab walkway with a connected granite one. Neat, professional and excellent job.

John was very receptive from the very beginning of this project. He responded to our inquiry and quickly set up an appointment to review what we wanted. He sat down with us to help design a large multi-level patio including a firepit and a couple of new stone walls. John and his team were amazing. The end product was exactly what we had envisioned and in many cases far exceeded what we had expected. His team was extremely hard working and the attention to detail was impressive. We are extremely pleased with the level of professionalism and overall service that we were provided. I would hire Talos again in the future. Highly recommended.

I was looking to deal with some flooding issues in my back yard and needed a 100 ft. retaining wall put up. John was the first to respond to my inquiry for a quote. His quote came in the middle of the road however his attention to detail was apparent and I knew I wouldn’t regret it. He completed the job in one week and the results were phenomenal! John and his crew knew what they were doing and the results speak for themselves! I will definitely be hiring the Talo’s Masonry crew again for future projects!

I received a quick response from Talo s Masory owner John Talo. He came to my home the very next day and looked at what I needed to have done. I was loosing land in my back yard and needed a retaining wall. John gave me a quote that was hard to believe. Of course I accepted and gave John a down payment. John started the job in a week or so and finish a beautiful 70 x 3 retaining wall in 3 day s. For an extra fee John offered to reseed and fertilize the lawn. Well I accepted and thank god i did. It was like John and his crew were never there. The wall and yard came out great and I could not be any happier. We interviewed 5 stone masons to rebuild our patio which had been poorly built 4 years ago. Mr. Talo was the last. He arrived on-time, gave a free estimate in minutes and told us what he would do. His price was in the middle of those we had, but he proposed a much more thorough and professional job. He did not lie!! He and his crew arrived as he told us (communication with him was excellent - we always knew what/when). These men really know their business and did a VERY professional job (which was not easy considering their task of fixing some else's mistakes with the material at hand). We have no doubt that this patio will outlive us by many years, and it's much more attractive than the original. When they were finished, everything was cleaned up as though it had never happened, and we now have a gorgeous patio. If I could give Mr. Talo and his crew 10 stars, I certainly would and we would happily hire him again for any and all masonry work!

John and his crew are excellent. They completed two stone retaining walls for us which included the demolition and removal of an 8ftx 20ft concrete wall. They arrived promptly at 8:30 every morning and even worked a Sunday to make up for a weather delay.

John is knowledgeable, humble and honest. His crew runs a clean worksite and built a beautiful Roxbury stone retaining wall. I would absolutely hire him again.

Talos Masonry did a beautiful job putting in our paver walkway. We also had them move our stone driveway to another location on our property. John, the owner and his crew were great to work with. They were hard workers, professional and finished the job promptly. We were very impressed because John took the time to answer our concerns and stayed on top of the job. John and his crew are an awesome, talented group of professionals! The workmanship is beautiful and they have really raised the value of our home. We will use this patio for many years to come. Not only did he build us a patio with a fire pit, he also built 2 walkways and 2 flowerbeds in front of our house. His quote came in a couple of thousand dollars less than others, but his workmanship was worth more. We are already planning on some jobs we will have him come back and do next year! Hard workers, fair price

John and his team are excellent. I would highly recommend them and look forward to working with them again. Our project involved replacing an old (leaning) retaining wall that had two (crooked) sets of steps as well as a walkway to the front steps of our house. They also removed (and hauled away) some overgrown bushes that were in the way once we changed the placement of one set of steps. As we discussed my ideas for an old fashioned stone wall and a brick walkway, John gave me very helpful input on the plans as well as when the progress progressed. Communication was great with John and his team and they came on time, were fast and efficient and completed the job quickly and ahead of schedule, despite a couple of days of bad weather. I was delighted with the result, as was my family, including my dad who said it brought to mind an Irish stone wall.
