Description of Work: They removed one very large tree that was right next to our gardening shed, removed a major branch off another, chipped and removed everything (all branches etc) and left us a few large pieces as requested. The yard was left, as promised, neater than they found it. |They brought in a strange lifter that threaded between our house and garden beds, disturbing nothing. Others had proposals that used larger, more damaging equipment.

I had my trees done long before many of my neighbors who were similarly affected. Looking at the area today, you would never know that the damage existed. Despite the busy schedule that they were dealing with, they assessed the damage in a timely fashion and provided their usual prompt, courteous and friendly service that is the hallmark of Brothers' Tree Services.

The work turned our very well. They are very knowledgeable about trees and they also did a really good job of cleaning up after the work was done.

Arrived promptly with 3 men and 2 trucks and 3 pieces equipment. Cleaned as they went. Really sweet to my 90 year old dad who lived with us, helping him as he watched. Left yard swept and cleared.
Description of Work: Removed very large maple from yard (cut in pieces, removed debris and cut wood in lengths), plus trimmed off secondary trunk from another maple.

Since Sandy they were in big demand for services. Brother's Tree Service moved quickly to assess damage, provide accurate/reasonable estimate and remove trees within two weeks time.

They were amazing and cleaned up everything. We told them to save some wood for the fireplace. They cut it and offered to stack it for us. They did an amazing job.

They price gouged on me. They charged me $6900 to remove one tree from the premises of my house. I do not recommend them. I used them because I did not have a choice; I had to go with them. We had a huge disaster in Connecticut and I needed to get the tree removed from my house before the insurance company would show up. I called other tree services and they came right away to give me the estimates. At the time I did not have a choice -- the estimate was what they charged me but I think the estimate was too high and they were taking advantage of the situation. I will not use them again in the future.

They gave us a written estimate. They came to do the job 15 days later (calling first the night before, as they said they would). They showed up two exactly on time, verified what work they were going to do and got down to work. They were done an hour and a half later and cleaned up after themselves.
Description of Work: They pruned a tree (Norway Maple) and removed a large (approx. 5 ft. high) shrub from my yard.

Called several companies and Brothers was the first on the scene. Quick and friendly service. However price was in my view excessive. It needed to be done ASAP. So I paid it. Will shop around next time to see how their price compares with others in the area.
Description of Work: A large tree limb fell across the driveway and was being suspended by my neighbors cable TV, phone, and electric cables. Had vendor remove tree limb and dispose of lumber.

THEY SET AND KEEP THEIR APPOINTMENTS. THEY PICK UP AFTER THEMSELVES. THE PERSON THAT CAME OUT AND REMOVED THE STUMPS WAS A HARD WORKER. THEY REMOVED THE TREE STUMPS IN LESS THAN THREE HOURS.
