Sent an email for an appointment for a quote through their website. Was not able to return their call for two weeks because I was out of state tending to a sick family member. Person I was finally able to speak to was annoyed that I hadn't called back sooner since he was apparently in my area already, and wanted me to describe the work I needed done to write me a quote. Since it was a lot, I said I preferred that he come to look at it; writing a quote without looking at what needs to be done doesn't make sense to me. He was very irritable and distracted when he was here, and I could tell he was not really paying attention. Nevertheless we walked the perimeter of my property and I told him all that needed doing. He said he would email me a quote. His quote came back a full double what three others had already quoted. When the arborist I actually went with arrived, we walked the perimeter again to review what was to be done that day, and he asked me if I actually wanted all the marked trees removed, because we hadn't discussed them. We were shocked to find that Brothers had spray painted large orange dots on the trees they had planned to pull down, NONE of which had I said I wanted done! Orange marks on NINE trees that we had not planned to remove. It is so unprofessional to mark trees before you have as signed contract in hand!

They responded quickly to my request, came out and sent a proposal within hours. Only thing I wasn't aware of was that there would be a 2 week waiting period before they could do the job. They had sent an email saying a foreman would contact me, but I ended up contacting them to see when I could expect the job to be completed. They did contact us and said the job would be completed on 5/28/19 and they did come today and the job is done exactly as they said it would be.

They did a phenomenal job, cut the tree without any mess and even ground a large stump with many roots in a very difficult area to access. Cleaned up perfectly, you could not tell that someone was there. GREAT JOB Initial estimate was 3-4 weeks, they did it in 3 days!

Wow! It couldn't have gone better. My wife and I noticed that a 30' hemlock was leaning toward our house as a result of soaking rains and high winds. On Sunday at 4:00 p.m., I asked for a bid from Brothers Tree Service on Angie's List. At 5:40 p.m., I got an e-mail response from this firm. At 8:00 a.m. on Monday, my wife got a call and an hour later Joe from Brothers Tree Service stopped by our house. Seeing we had an emergency, he got his crew to our house in 2 hours. They finished the work quickly and completely for a reasonable rate. Very pleased with their work and the politeness and responsiveness of their staff.

Great. They arrived when they said they would and called to let me know when the work was complete.

It went great! They used a weird but cool machine to get through the tight space (no more than 6' wide) into our back yard. It was a bucket machine that folded up like a large insect (long and skinny), and was remote guided through the tight space. They took down the huge tree and literally dropped it on a mark. The other trim work was also done beautifully. Afterwards the yard was - as promised - cleaner than when they arrived. They chopped and removed most and left us large, cut logs as requested. The trimmed trees have done very well. An added bonus was how they treated my very old (and now deceased) Dad who lived with us. He loved watching the whole process and was treated with dignity and care to make sure he was safe.

Incredible. The Brothers' Team arrived as a grand parade down my street in these very impressive trucks & equipment. (I couldn't believe it was just my place. Neighbors kept watching as well.) Mike & Brian heading up their Team were precision in motion. With Mike expertly maneuvering his orange Kobuta L35 back & forth -- huge amounts of unsightly heavy weeds, ivy, etc. were no match. I was very happy with the tall grass around the dead tree in the corner. Mike trimmed that & all the other details. I didn't have to interject at all. Mike & Brian & their Team knew what to do. Sooooo happy & relieved that they came today. Thank You, Brothers' Tree Service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brothers Tree Service provided an initial (free) itemized estimate for all of the arborist work needed on my property. Using this estimate I was able to pick and choose which services I needed first, and know how much additional services would cost when I could afford to do more of them. They arrived promptly on the appointed date/time, were polite and friendly, and efficient in performing the contracted services (pruning a 3-4-story tree in my front yard, and installing a cable system for support between two of the larger branches (which will prolong the life and health of the tree). Their rates were fair, billing was simple, and the work was done well. I will definitely call them again for future tree service.

I called to get an estimate for the work on a Friday, and they came out the next morning to look at the work. We had 3 items on our list. On 2 of the 3 items, the estimate for the work was comparable to other estimates I received. The third item was 25% higher than the others, on average. Based on reviews and professionalism, I sent back the signed contract for 1 of the 3 items. The only issue was being unaware of their 2-3 week lead time. I would have called sooner had I known this. About 3 weeks later, they called around 7:20 in the morning while I was at work and asked to perform the service that day. I got home and the tree was trimmed back. They did a MUCH better job than I envisioned, with virtually no mess. I barely noticed they were there. Great experience overall. I will be using them again to trim back a tree on the other side of the house.

I needed a 20" maple stump ground before construction (retaining wall and lawn steps) could begin. The crew worked quickly and were meticulous in their clean-up of the area. And it ended up costing less than the estimate due to the fact that I didn't need backfill and grass seed. I was very pleased with this service.

Overall, the job went well. Equipment was top notch, workers professional. Yard was left spotless, couldn't tell they were ever there. I would use them again. But in the future, we would state in the proposal before we signed it that if they ever stopped working on our property in the middle of our job, to do work for a neighbor because they were approached (I assume with cash) while working on our job, I would withhold x% of the amount due. (explains my grade on professionalism.) Lesson learned.

Excellent! All work was done as described. Brothers' Tree Service was very knowledgeable and knew what trees needed what. The finished work made a big diference in the appearance of my property. I would highly recommend this company. One of the workers checked in with me a couple of times throughout the time they were here - highly professional. They left the property completely cleaned up. I can't believe what a difference this upkeep made. I would not hesitate to use this company again.

They didn't do $400 worth of tree service. They didn't let me know they were here, they just came and went.

Joe, from Brothers' Tree Service, was polite and prompt, but, instead of doing any work, we walked around my yard and I explained what I wanted done. He then wrote up a proposal that would cost me an additional $2,127. I had already paid Angie's list $199 plus tax for $400.00 worth of work. I told him I had to speak with someone before giving him a response. I showed my other half when he got home from work and he agreed this was too much; we couldn't afford this. Either I misunderstood the deal or this was a 'bait and switch'. I will show this proposal to other people in the same business. I have a neighbor who does this same kind of work ( he just came home after serving our country for another year), another with a son-in-law in the business, and I live behind Millain's Nursery. They probably do or know some one who does this type of work. I don't feel as if I can properly grade the experience until I get more information. I do know we can't afford this proposal so I would like my money refunded please.
