I'm very happy with the work.

The job was completely done on a Saturday, including all trash removal.By Saturday ewvening, you couldn''t tell they had been there - except for the new roof in place. Great job.

The job turned out to involve more than was originally anticipated, but everything was handled smoothly. They also repaired some damage done by squirrels. This was at no extra cost to me. The work crew was efficient and competent. Cleanup at completion of the job was thorough.

I contacted George Denison through the contact I found on Angie's List and received a prompt quote on the cost to do the roof replacement. Mr. George Denison came himself and gave me a quote on the spot. After getting a competitive quote from another contractor I contacted Mr. Denison and agreed with his terms. We agreed to a start date near the end of June, weather permitting. They came on June 30th and completed the job on July 1st. Each day the yard was cleaned up and when they finished the job the grounds were completely cleaned. The job was done and the result was a professionally installed roof. It looks great. I couldn't be happier with the results.

Three people came out on the first day, after that just two. It took about a week because of rain and in climate weather. After looking around, and checking this list they had a better price than their competitors. My wife had a little issue with cleaning up but after talking to them about it, it wasn't a problem. When recommending their service elsewhere i'd tell them to expect quality work. George was also very personable.

needed to replace old shingles on my low sloped addition. I called mr. Denison and he came out on the same day to give me an estimate. We agreed on the price and in less than a week his two man crew replace the shingle in just 5 hours. I am very pleased with the job . Every thing that I read on the 26 reviews on angle's list about this contractor is true. I highly recommend him if you need any roofing done.

Things went very smoothly. The work was completely in a timely manner and professionally. It seemed very expensive for such a project but as winter was on the horizon we needed the work done and didn't get other quotes. As we have been burned in the past we hired Denison based on their high rating on Angie's list and the customer reviews were very positive.

I couldn't be more pleased with George Dennison. He and his crew were the most pleasant and professional I have ever experienced. During the course of the job he was very easy to contact his crew were in and out without any mess. The quality of his work seemed as if he were working on his own. He assisted in helping us make decisions to both save money and accomplish what we had set out to do. I will recommend him to anyone needing to make home improvements and wanting the BEST!

the provider was professional, courteous, and very nice, he told me what I needed, and what to do. I will be calling him back to do the roof but I'm waiting for remortgaging my home to get the necessary money to do the roof.

This was the second time that George Denison replaced my roof. Fourteen years ago when I needed a new roof I called him when I discovered that he had loaded up three or four semi trailers with emergency supplies for the hurricane victims in Mississippi and Louisiana and personally delivered the supplies and supervised the distribution. I was completely satisfied then as I am now. It's nice to know that this company's high professional ethics and practices remain over the years.

These roofs finally and completely solve long term serious problems with the roofs installed by a much less responsible roofer.

We used Denison to replace our roof a few months ago, so I was familiar with his work. He's great to work with, friendly and professional. We've contracted with him and he will be doing the work when the weather gets a bit warmer.

Extremely prompt, professional work, great clean up of work site, even arranged for electrical contractor to handle needed upgrade. Wasn't the lowest quote but I got my money's worth.

They were very much on time and provided the estimate within 10mins of the inspection at no cost.e

When we agreed to the work, we mentioned to the site foreman that we didn't want rough language, etc. from the workers. About a week later, we got a call with the start date. On the scheduled day, it rained and they didn't show. That evening, the owner called and said they would be there the next morning. They arrived on time with at least 7-8 roofers. We haven't seen workers this disciplined since I watched the Amish erect a house in one day a few years ago. Debris was disposed of daily...there was never a dumpster on site. Other than the obvious new roofs and gutters, you would never know they had been here. There were here and gone in two days. They also do business the old-fashioned away....they look you in the eye, shake hands firmly when making a commitment, and then keep their word. The only documents we had were the estimate, the invoice, and the warranty. Denison has a very good reputation locally, and it was very clear their reputation is earned. HIghly professional. We recommend them without qualification.

I have not selected a roofer yet but this company is #1 or #2.

Called and asked for an estimate. Mr Denision came out that day. Told him I was an airline pilot and I lived out of town and needed to set up a time that would fit my schedule. His estimate was a little higher than the other offers. But what I liked about Mr Denision is he looked you in the eye and you knew you were getting a good job. He was very helpful. The job went well. There was a delay due to weather (rain). Mr. Denision kept me informed and called me the day before to tell me they would be there the next morning and what time. His workers were all poilte and just a great group of guys. They got the job done in a day and a half. I would definately recommend these guys and I would use them again.!!!!!

G.A. Denison and Sons (New London, CT) was not the lowest bidder but was by far the most communicative and cooperative contractor we have found. During the summer of 2012 they put new "flat" roofs ("Flat" in quotes because their roofing method actually provided a slight slope to the finished roof) on two of our eight condominium buildings. The buildings are each 45' X 68'. The result far better than expectations. They clean up the premesis at the end of each day and when they were done there was no evidence on the ground that they had ever been there. This same company has assisted with roof problems on others of our buildings with immediate response to our calls and at no charge. They stand fully behind their work - something we cannot say for some other roofing companies in the area. Do negotiate openly and honestly. Do listen to them - they know their business. Don't take the lowest bid. We did some years ago and were soon very sorry.

I was very satisfied with G A Denison & Sons Inc, their prices are very reasonable. They used the extra shingles to reroof my shed for free. They cleaned-up everything leaving nothing behind.

They were excellent and maintained cleanliness. When they were done,the yard was cleaner. They were very competitive. They are punctual and they had a full crew. They did what they had to do and came in the exact time they told me to.

I contacted three roofing contractors from Angie's List and one non-Angie's List roofer. Two of the three AL responded with estimates within $150. of each other. The third never provided a quote when he said he would. The non-Angie List roofer provided a quote for over $13,000. !!!! The sad part is he lives in the neighborhood. We were very please with GA Denison's work. He explained everything prior to starting, arrived when he said he would, pulled the permits (included in quote) and assisted us in arranging the dumpster. I would strongly recommend them!

This is a family business run by George Denison. I contacted him two years ago upon the recommendation of a friend for roof repair. He came out, did the job beautifully, and left me feeling as though I truly got my money's worth. I contacted Mr. Denison again last year after my home sustained significant damage during Tropical Storm Irene. He came right out to my house, wrote up a proposal, and went right to work for me. As I found myself deliberating with my insurance company, Mr. Denison stepped right in. I needed my entire house stripped down and repaired. One could imagine the nightmare that I envisioned. However, Mr. Denison spoke with my insurance adjuster, and he performed the necessary (and arduous) legwork to prove the damage and the needed repairs to my house, thereby getting me a much larger compensation from my insurance company. With only minor delays in starting the work (due to the weather), once the coast was clear Mr. Denison and his crew showed up to my house exactly when expected. His step-son was on the job each day, making sure everything was done to my specifications. The men worked professionally and efficiently. There was never any foul language, no loud music, and each day they left my house in impeccable condition. All debris was removed on a daily basis, and any equipment was covered and stored neatly. The work on my house took a little over 3 weeks. I never once felt as though I was being "taken for a ride." Rather, I felt I was being taken care of. I would recommend Mr. Denison to ANYONE who would like to have work done on their home.
