Description of Work: Last May 2016 my husband had a full knee replacement. Once he was able to climb the stairs and take a shower it make quite evident we needed to replace the small corner shower stall in our master bath. He needed a seat and was barely able to fit a portable seat in the stall. Well, we made it through his recovery but we decided the corner shower had to go. I called a good friend of mine who recently had her kitchen done. I was looking for a plumber. She gave me the name of the plumber. He came and said I needed a contractor. He gave me the name of Tom Prete owner of TRP Construction Co. in Wallingford, CT. The master bath was very special to me. It was in mint condition despite the fact it was 26 years old. The tile was Minton Hollins imported from England. I didn't want the entire bathroom destroyed. As a matter of fact, I wanted the decorative tiles saved and reinstalled into the new larger shower. Tom Prete was exceptional in attaining this goal. His tile person was an artist. I hoped and prayed that the tile person would be able to incorporate the old decorative tiles with the new tiles. Tom worked hard and long on "cleaning" the old deco tiles. They had to soak in a solution for a couple of days and he would patiently "clean" them after each soaking. He not only was able to save the decos but he save some of the trim pieces too. The end result was a MASTERPIECE of artwork. I told Tom I felt like the Queen of Sheba showering for the first time in my so very luxurious shower. I would recommend TRP Construction LLC anytime one needs any reno done to their home. He's considerate, cooperative and sooooo neat!!!! Price is write because TRP CONSTRUCTION is WORTH IT!!!! He's willing to go the "extra" miles to get the job done right.

 + 2 moreWe could not be more pleased with the Tom and his crew. They are very professional, experienced, punctual and clean. We ran into a lot of unforeseen conditions during the project and he handled them very well with his quick innovative thinking. Tom's open line of communication as well as attention to detail are a few of his many top qualities making the stress of a home project very minimal on the homeowner. Tom is very fair and honest with his pricing and provides nicely constructed estimates that clearly shows he puts the time into learning the job. We will certainly be hiring Tom for all of our future projects.

 + 0 moreWent fabulous. Even with the unexpected rotted subfloor they stayed on schedule. In picking out the fixtures and trim, they knew exactly what we were looking for and had excellent suggestions as well. All high quality products and very high quality workmanship - very clean and trustworthy! The finished powder room looks like something out of a magazine! Everything was finished in the timeline they gave us and within budget.
