Description of Work: Kitchen floor and rugs. They came promptly and the installers were very nice folks but seemed under-equipped to handle taking care of things like squeaks in the floor and difficult transitions from a floating floor to rug. Good effort on their part but we now live with the squeaks. The transitions we can find something later. Had I known I was asking a lot I would have gotten a separate vendor to take care of the issues prior to the install.

Description of Work: From the beginning they were helpful & knowledgeable. They took time to answer all of my questions. They were punctual when they came out to measure & the installer was right on time & did a wonderful, professional job. A few days later they called to see if I was satisfied. I would highly recommend Schneider's Flooring. I will definitely will use them again.

Description of Work: This is an excellent company. Everyone that works there goes above and beyond. Bruce LeClair, their sales representative does an outstanding job. He showed us many choices, was extremely patient and knowledgeable. Tom, came to our home to give us a free estimate. He gave us valuable information and explained our choices in detail. He was very professional, everything was upfront so there were no surprises. Mike and George came to demolish a wall, repair and tile the wall. George was so polite and very careful not to damage anything in the room. He cleaned up as he went along and covered anything that might get damage. Mike installed the tile. He is a true artist. What he did really is a work of art. He separated the tiles into piles that looked similar to an artists pallet. He chose the tiles color variations in a way that was just so beautiful. We've never seen anything like it. The next day Martin came to fill in the grout. Again, he was careful and respectful of out home. The grout he installed is also beautiful. Very consistent. Another wonderful employee. Don installed our Purstone floor. He suggested the layout and grout gap and boy, was he right. Another perfectionist. He was personable, professional and really good at what he does. We have to say every employee was simply outstanding and really look out for you and what you want. Extremely enjoyable experience. All are an absolute asset to this company and we sincerely thank them all and their expertise.

Description of Work: Installed high quality vinyl floor tile of approx. 700sq ft. Unexpected need to rip up old floor. They were efficient in all components of work done. Kept us informed on what they were doing. Very responsive to my questions.

Description of Work: The installers were very professional. Our agreements was that I would remove the old vinyl flooring and they would do a skim coat and lay the new flooring. They arrived a few minutes before they were scheduled and templated the floor and put a skim coat down. Then they went back to their shop to cut the vinyl to fit. When they returned after lunch they applied adhesive and worked the flooring into place. My old flooring had several seams, but Schneider's men did a remarkable job installing the new floor in one piece. This included the kitchen, hallway with two closets, and bathroom. They were very careful to make sure it laid flat with no bubbles. They installed trim strips and molding as required and even used a color caulk that would match well with the vinyl pattern. The installation was completed in one day. I couldn't be happier with our new kitchen floor.

Description of Work: I did not go with this Company as the estimating process was too hard with Samantha. She did not listen to my requirements or what I was trying to accomplish. Quoted wrong materials, added her own thoughts which were contrary to mine (which were clearly explained to). Square footage numbers were inflated which inflated the cost of materials and installation. Estimate was quite hard to understand and evaluate. Just too hard to work with and once we kind of straightened the estimate out it was simply much higher than what I could get elsewhere. I was also concerned over the difficulties that I had with the sales process, would translate into problems with the actual job. No thank you. Maybe it was Samantha but if you can't get through the sales and estimating process, the actual installation and resolution of any problems is of great concern
