Excellent help up front, in helping us pick a carpet that would fit our needs, and match our interior. Both the estimator, and the installer were right on time, within minutes. An excellent installation by a very friendly, helpful installer. I would not hesitate to use them again.

My experience in the store was pleasurable. Jocelyn helped me with my tile selection. They set up the measuring appointment, ordered the materials, and scheduled installation all within two weeks. The installer was very professional. He did a great job. He left my kitchen neat and tidy.

Excellent from start to finish. Ordered materials and they held them until we were ready. They called the day before to confirm installation, showed up on time. The installer was professional and cleaned up after himself. This is the 2nd time we used them and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

It went wonderful. They were very accommodating. We had to change the appointment due to the closing date of the house. They bent over backwards to make sure the job was done well. We had been hoping not to have any furniture in the house, but it showed up early. They told us not to worry about it and worked the project. They even offered to help us move furniture back in afterwards.

The estimate went fine but they were asking DOUBLE the amount of money as 3 other contractors for the same work

Carpet went great. A few minor glitches with tile, so they adjusted the price to accommodate. Friendly staff. very knowledgable.

My wife and I met with Carl Schneider in his Showroom. Carl showed us the various types of flooring available, and described details associated with installation on cement, and in unheated rooms that can reach temperatures below freezing. Everything was clear and open; no pressure, no concerns. Prices per Tile were very reasonable for all varieties. Don was the installer, a craftsman who loves his trade. He set up the job first by planning the layout to insure there would not be narrow tiles ending at any wall. Then he checked for any rises or depressions in the cement floor, leveling the floor with a liquid "level-and-set" material. Finally he "babied" every tile in place; the result is a beautiful floor. We Highly recommend Schneider's Flooring America.

They worked with my scheduling needs and gave me credit for prep work that I did on my own. Bruce and Jocelyn (sales associates) were patient and helped me find what I was looking for. Rick installed my carpet and did an excellent job. I'm not young and have always had carpet. I can definitely say that this was the highest quality carpet installation I have ever had. I had a friend help me with the tile installation.

This is the second time that we have used Schneider's for flooring and we were very pleased with the quality and variety of the flooring available. Also we were very pleased with the installation. They truly go the extra mile to make sure that you are happy with both their product and installation. They were very patient with my wife and I in picking out the product that we wanted within our budget and showing us options if we wanted to step up or down in price. They always respond very quickly to phone calls and installation was done in a timely manner. We found there installers to be skilled and knowledgable. When installing new carpet the first time we used them, we mentioned to the installer that our floors squeaked in a number of places and asked him if he could do anything about it. He fixed most of the squeaks by putting in additional screws to tighten up the subfloor at no extra charge. We were very happy since we were preparing to out the house on the market.

We are so glad that we chose to purchase tile from Schneider's and that we used Schneider's for installation. From the moment we stepped in the store showroom to ask for help in picking out tile, to the final installation, everyone was professional & very customer service oriented. It helped so much to be able to "check out" large tile samples to bring home for a few days to see how the tile would appear at different times of the day with varying light. The installers were excellent. When we weren't sure about the pattern placement we wanted for the tiles, the installers recommended three different ways, and took the time to lay out the tiles exactly like they would be placed, until we could make up our minds. They did a wonderful job, and our tile floor looks incredible! We will definitely use Schneider's Flooring America (again) for our future flooring needs. We highly recommend them!

I had just joined Angie's list and was happy to be able to use it for the first time when I started looking at replacing all my carpeting. Schneider Flooring came up as one of the stores in my area. I called to make an appointment with Jocelyn Schneider and found her to be extremely knowledgeable and professional. She set up an appointment for me to have one of their technicians come to my house to measure and be able to provide an estimate. He was there at the same time as the insurance adjuster and was very helpful, even offering to send the original carpet to the labs they use to determine the make, quality and value. I went then went to the store to select carpeting of the same nature as the one we were replacing. I feel confident that I actually got a better grade of carpeting and still stayed within the appropriate range. I had the opportunity to select from a wide assortment and to have large samples sent directly to my house within two days. This made my selection process very easy. The installation itself was a good experience, the installers were very personable, polite and very neat. I am so pleased with the finished results, the carpeting is beautiful and is installed perfectly. I have referred friends for their future needs. Martine Skoog-Laplant

The installers arrived on time and promptly began their work. They were polite, friendly, and efficient as they completed their work. They moved furniture, tore up the old carpeting, installed the carpeting, and cleaned up, taking about 6 hours. The new carpeting looks great--a job well done! The salesmen did a follow-up call to assure my satisfaction with the carpet and with the installation job. He also was polite, friendly, and professional. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for floor coverings.

From our first visit with Paul who arrived on time to provide us with an estimate. We were impressed by his professionalism and kindness. He asked us a few questions about what we were looking for, measured our condo and let us know he will provide us with an estimate within a day or two. On the 2nd day, we received the estimate, made an appointment to visit Joselyn in the Schneider's Flooring America store in Vernon, CT, and were greeted by Joslyn who helped us to make a decision about which carpet and tile to purchase. Joslyn was also very professional and clearly had our best interest in mind. We looked at only the carpeting and tile choices (there were many on display in their beautiful store) that would meet our budget. Next, we scheduled the installation and the day before the installation, Kevin called to let us know the time of their arrival. Kevin and Scott arrived promptly, very professional, kind and hard workers. It took two days to complete the installation of our new carpet which looks beautiful. Schneider's Flooring America really took care of us. We have already highly recommended them to our friends and family. Thank you Schneider's!

Spent good time in show room. Service in the store was good. Installers did above and beyond, had squeaks in floor, they fixed them.

They were good and it was excellent. They came on time, they completed the job promptly, they cleaned up after themselves and they did a good job in the installation without difficulty.

This was a good experience from beginning to end. The sales staff was knowledgeable, and once we explained what we were looking for, was able to guide us to the carpeting and vinyl flooring that was what we were looking for. There are so many different types of carpeting that we were a bit lost when we first went in. But the sales person asked a couple of questions, and took us right to where we needed to go. She gave us three or four choices for each room, explaining in detail the differences in the carpeting, and urged us to take samples home so we could match color, texture, etc. So - no pressure. We were able to take our time and make an informed decision on what we really wanted. When we did decide to purchase the carpeting and flooring, again the staff was wonderful and answered all of our questions about the warranties, installation, what type of padding was appropriate for each room, etc. She also offered us the no-interest for 12 months financing deal, which we did take advantage of. The installer showed up on the day promised, on time, and did a great job. The carpets look wonderful. As far as the vinyl flooring, when they found out what a small room it was, they recommended looking through their remnant store room - if we could find something there, it would save us a lot (and this floor is only intended to last 2-3 years before the entire room is redone). We were able to find flooring that we liked and it didn't cost us a lot of money. The vinyl installers again, arrived on the date and time promised, and did a very good job. All in all, this was a great experience and I will go back to Schneiders for all my future flooring needs. I did notice that they had some gorgeous tile!

It did not go at all since they did not do what they promissed.

It was an okay experience. They used the linoleum that I asked them to as the kick board underneath the vanity, and that has came off. It wasn't great. The guy that came in and measured said that we had to take the existing flooring out. The people that came in to do the work said that we should have left it on.

I chose this company because they had done work for me in the past that was great! The quality of the work and service is wonderful with these people. This location is a family owned business as well. I also liked the fact that they did not try to sell me things I did not want or need.
