It worked out fine. They were very good and very professional. They did a very good job. They were on time, did a good job and very professional.

Very professional. Took the time to explain workings of my 14 year old door and things I can do myself to maintain going forward. It's like a new door, I highly recommend!

Replaced all wheels, coils on my garage door - new parts plus labor. Fixed motor in garage door opener, changed circuit board to enable old remotes to work, supplied new batteries. Came twice, and a third time SOS. Managed to resurrect and old system and save me $$$$. Professional, knowledgeable, reliable, A++++.

The deal was only for garage doors in working order. My garage door wasn't working at all, so the deal wasn't applicable to the work I needed done. The service provider is doing the work outside of the deal. I requested a refund for the deal from Angie's List.

The second door that they serviced broke 3 months later. I would have hoped that a good service would have prevented that. The door keeps stopping midway and then opening again.

I initially bought a tuneup for my garage door opener through angle's list. Mr Cadra responded immediately but I was unable to schedule the service for a few months. I knew my garage doors needed some work - the winter of 2014 did some lasting damage including wood rotting. Upon consultation with Mr. Cadra I decided to replace the doors. He had a wide range of options/price points to choose from. He gave me a timing for installation and it was spot on. The doors look fantastic and Mr Cadra was an absolute pleasure to work with. Great communication and responsive to all emails/questions I highly recommend him.

The service was very good, and he was very responsive. He was excellent. I would give him a high rating on being responsive, and doing what had to be done. There weren't any additional charges, he stayed within the big deal amount.

The company said that AL was running the promotion without their consent and that I needed to get my refund from AL directly.

He was very gracious and professional, but I could not use due to a misunderstanding with the deal offered.

Unfortunately, there are no details. I have been completely ignored by the provider. I have requested cancelation of "Big Deal" purchase and full refund. Won't more forward with provider even if magically contacted because of bad review. You had your chance.

I set the bar quite high for contractors and vendors. Garage Doors of Fairfield County exceeded my expectations. A professional family-run business that takes pride in their work. A refreshing change from the now-to-common and subpar big-box services. I would highly recommend them without hesitation.

Responded very quickly and performed the work in the manner he told us he would. Even fixed a few issues for which he did not charge.

Paul cadra was prompt, efficient, friendly and the price was right. We set up the appointment and got the work done within two days. No complaints and I recommend his company to anyone. Note that the email address on the company home page was not correct.

My two 8'x7' wood garage doors had to be about 40 years old and were at the end of their lives. After doing some research, I decided on steel for it's durability, insulation, cost and low maintenance. I got quotes from 4 installers I found on Angie's List. I selected Cadra's to do the work, even though their price was not the lowest (or highest; I just liked the guy). Once the decision was made, Dave and his team were at my house the next week to install. They replaced everything: doors, springs, tracks and put gaskets around the frames. They even connected the doors to my antique (~20 year old) Craftsman door openers. They were in and out in about 4 hours and left the worksite clean. Everything seemed fine. Later that day I got a call at work from Dave (I had left before they were done). One of my door openers was no longer working, even though it was getting power. I think it just chose a coincidental time to die (it was pretty old) but Dave felt responsible. He thought it was the circuit board and promised to install a replacement board ASAP. He showed up at my house the very next morning. Instead of replacing the board, he replaced the entire unit with a used Liftmaster he had at his shop. It took him about 90 minutes of work. At the end, Dave wouldn't let me pay him for the additional work or equipment. We'll never know what caused the Craftsman to quit when it did. Even though it is unlikely that the new door installation was the cause, Dave went above and beyond to make sure to leave me in a better state than he found me. It's rare to find that kind of integrity and commitment but when you do, it should be recognized and rewarded. I'm calling Dave when the other Craftsman needs to be replaced.

who knew garage doors need tune-ups? mine is now a happy slider up and down. i also very much appreciated john evaluating the other garage door and indicating it didn't need adjusting. very honest and professional; plus a sense of humor! i recommend and will certainly use again.

I did not use the provider as I had a friend fix the door for me.

I purchased a big deal on Monday, May 19th for $89 garage door tune up. After 4 days, I had not heard from the provider. I finally decided to call them on Friday, May 23rd to schedule an appointment. I was told that they could come by tomorrow, Sat. May 24th around 11AM. Sounded great! I waited around until 1PM without hearing or seeing anyone. Called to find out where they were and I left a message, which wasn't returned. I finally tried a cell number from their website and someone answered. He said, "I think I was supposed to go there but I forgot. I'll call you right back." I got a call back within 10 minutes, and was told that he remembered scheduling me, but he didn't have an invoice or paperwork. I would have to reschedule for another day. At this point, I was annoyed at the lack of communication and organization, so I told him "Never mind. I'm just going to try someone else." Instead of saying that he was sorry, he simply said, "Well, there you go." and hung up. I found that very unprofessional. Since my garage door was broken, I needed someone to come by as soon as possible. I called another provider who was closer to my location and set up a service call with them. A few hours later I got a call from the original company apologizing and saying that they didn't know what happened. Unfortunately, it was too late, as I had already contacted another provider.

My experience with these guys went great. When they did not have my phone number to contact me they sent an email right away. We played a little phone tag (hence the "B" in responsiveness) but at the end of the day they showed on the day they said they would and performed the job I paid for. They were polite, very low maintenance, and left the garage neat and clean. When he was finished he walked me through the features of the system and provided me with his contact details if I had any problems. It has only been about 3 hours since install so little early to have an issue but I am confident if I do they would be back immediately.

Initially came out to service them, but as expected, the doors were so old that they were past code. John was able to set me up with 3 beautiful new doors, fully installed within a few weeks (doors we wanted were not in stock, but we knew this when we made the order).

on friday at 4pm my garage door broke mid way up. i called a company i have used for 8 years. they did not call back. i went to angies list and found Cadra's Garage Door Company. they called me back within 10 minutes and set up a time for 10am next day. They showed up a few minutes early (imagine that). came in and assessed what was needed and went back to the truck to retrieve the parts that were with him. he then proceeded to replace both springs and even tacked the rubber strip along the bottom of the door. he was in and out in 20 minutes. did what they said they would do and do it well. it is now saturday night and i still have not had a call back from my FORMER garage door service company.

John showed up even a little early than expected. Very professional. Did some minor repairs and serviced our garage door. Would highly recommend the company to my friends and family.
