+ -1 moreIdentified three huge hornets nest in the corners / eves of our attic. The gentleman who came out was knowledgeable and professional. The nests were removed and the attic and the entire roofline was sealed to exclude all flying insects. At first I thought the price was a bit high until I saw the amount of work and detail that went into doing the job right. We now have absolutly no problem with hornets after years of trying to deal with them ourselves. We are very happy with the service and would use this company again.
Description of Work: We called Eliminate Em (Old Saybrook / Westbrook area number) after years of hornets flying around our house and discovering hornets in our attic. They identified the nests, removed them and did extrusion work.

+ -1 moreWhile they performed all of the tasks requitred. The process of spraying and replacign bates appeared hap-haazard and superficial. For example, bait in the attic was placed close to the opening and the person did not go back into the corners (where we subsequently found through anohtehr service provider were wherethe mice were nesting). Similarly with spraying, if there were object in the way, no effort was made to move them (nor were we asked to move anything, which we could have done). As a result, we heard the mice at night in the attic and came across more bugs than usual on the floors and close to doorways. We switched to a different provider and have had no problems since.
Description of Work: Checking basement and attic for mice, replacing bait as needed, and spraying outside perimiter of house for bugs.

+ -1 moreNeil was very professional and courteous. Promptly returned calls and was able to give a price estimate over the phone based on house size. Arrived as scheduled, performed the work well. Was easy to work with and around my schedule. Neil was knowledgeable about what needed to be done and find a problem that "chain termite company" never found. Will call them back next year for an inspection. Would use in the future for any pest control needs and would highly recommend.

+ -1 moreI believe they got the squirrels. They left some stuff to make sure they have an exit path so there is some follow up to remove and close it up. The job was very successful. I would definitely use them again. It was rather expensive so it could have been more price conscious. The quality was very high. At first it wasn’t working and the first thing they put in failed but he responded immediately and tried something else which was successful. He was very open to feedback and to modifying the approach.
Description of Work: I used Eliminate Em Pest Control Service to set up some tunnels to remove a family of squirrels that were embedded in my roof.

I would probably use the company again because the treatment worked. Even if the customer service left something to be desired.

The day they had to come out was the day before the hurricane. They were punctual. I was trying to find someone who would come anytime that day and they came. Their professionalism was very good. + -1 moreSo far so good. This is a work in process - they are coming out again in April. Because my yard abuts woods, this is going to be something I have to keep up with until we have evidence that the mice are no longer eating the bait.
Description of Work: I have an investation problem with mice. I had first used another national name extermination service last year, and they really didn't do much but put a few glue traps down and didn't look around the house at all to see where they were. The mice continued to be a problem so I tried this company. Eliminate em first came in October and did a complete walk through of entire house including attic space, crawl space, basement and garage. I had advised that at really wanted to try to avoid using poison as I have two dogs, one of whom is still a puppy and is getting into a lot of things. He explained that given how bad my investation was, we need to use the poison, as otherwise they would keep mulitplying. They put in at least 13 bait trays with poison but was careful to put them in areas that that dogs would not be exposed to or have access to. I signed up for quarterly service and they just came out for the second visit, and all be 2 trays were empty so he re-filled them. I find that not only do they seem to know what they are doing, they are punctual and courteous, clean, and careful with your property and pets.

+ 0 moreThe last time they came out was in July or August of last year. They weren't able to accomplish the animal removal because they didn't have the equipment. They didn't have a ladder that was tall enough and they didn't have scaffolding so that went undone. I am unhappy that they took a deposit of $160.00 and all I got was a visit and the information that they couldn't do it. The ant removal was excellent. That was fine. They were very courteous. I didn’t pursue the deposit that went unused, which I should have done. I just got busy. Maybe they would have given it back to me if I had insisted, but I don't know. They were very responsive. I guess I would use them in the future if needed.
Description of Work: I had 2 visits from Eliminate Em Pest Control Service. One visit was for the removal of a critter from my chimney. The other visit was for the removal of ants.

+ -1 moreThe price wasn’t much and I think it was a little over $100. My experience with them was excellent. The guy who came out was a young kid and was very professional. He came out, told us what he needed to do and told us what kind of bees they were. He did the work right then and there. I would use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I used Eliminate 'Em Pest Control Service in September. They got rid of 200 bees in my apartment. The bees ate their way through the sheetrock and ceiling.

+ 0 moreThey just didn’t get rid of the bats. To get rid of the bats from my room was $600 as it was in the middle of the night. He took it away and it wasn’t bad so it was good. I didn’t have to get sad. I had them come back and they did an inspection as a follow up and found bats in my attic. They went around and sealed everything and put in one way doors for the bats and so on. There was a lot of money involved but there was a lot of work to be done.

Now they come back once every three months and replenish the traps and fix anything else that needs to be done to get rid of mice, bugs and so forth. There is one person that they send who is probably the most happy and enthusiastic person that I have ever met in my life. He answers all my questions. He is very interesting.

Description of Work: While spraying for Carpenter ants, the company rep dropped a ceiling fixture damaging a table radio. He attempted to repair the damage but declined to accept responsibility. I contacted Kenny Vayda, president, and when informed of the damage and circumstances immediately agreed to cover the damage. An unfortunate accident, but professionally rectified.
