Eliminate'Em Pest Control Service LLC

I would say they are very expensive. They just keep coming back for more money. So I am not going to use them this year. I have used them for many years but I am getting a little tired of their shenanigans. I will say that they are attentive and they do the job. Basically as far as I can see they are the only people around that do moles so they can charge what they want to and that's not fair. The point is that they come to do something and they will follow up for a month, and you have to re up again. Every time I have to pay them $300 and I am getting tired of this. It just depends on what they are doing. If it is moles it is a continual payments through the summer. Thats where I get a little stingy after awhile. There are a little things you can do on your own to stick in the mole tunnel and it is the same thing the man comes her to do. You can try it. So we are going to try that route, and see if we can do it on our own. For price I am going to give them a low value because I think they are too expensive. They are just taking advantage of being the only kid on the block. Service has to be really good to give people an A. I would not use them again. It is always the same guy, just one person. If you knew anything about trying to kill moles you can put something in a mole tunnel and it will kill the mole right there because it is usually one mole that reeks havoc. But then there is another one to take his place and he comes from the woods and starts reeking havoc on your lawn. So this guy comes and checks every now and then to see whats going on.

They took my $400 and left 4 traps around the outside of the house. Not 1 trap left inside... Did not bother to locate rat entry points or remedies... I had to call another exterminator who took half the money and has helped with the problem a lot more.

Brian was reliable and polite at first, but once I contact them about lowering our price after an increase of $100, our service went downhill. I contacted the main office several times and was told Brian would call me back to discuss a new price, which did not happen. Then we asked them to come out to treat a wasp nest and after offering the service as a complimentary service, since yellow jackets were not covered for some reason, he then wanted to discuss the contract issue. When I let him know I wouldn't renew at the current price he said he reneged on the complimentary service and began to argue with me about our previous problems with his service. He then refused to complete the service without payment and I am currently hoping the main office can fix the problem and show some level of customer service.

They put in an initial treatment inside the house and told me that once, they are sure the mice within the house are dead, they would put baits outside the house. They wanted me to sign a 12 month contract from the very first time they came in September, but I wanted to know how it would go first of all. The noise levels of mice activity reduced and once I told them that, they came back to put baits outside the house. However, from time to tjme, I still heard the familiar noise of mice activity in the attic and I told them. They told me to be patient. They have since come back most recently in April to renew the baits, outside the house, which they told me last for about 3 months. Between September when they first came, and April, I had paid for 3 rounds of treatments, each for 3 months and I have had mice activity.. The noise in the attic was so bad that it was making it hard for me to go back to sleep, if I woke up at night. I called the company several times before someone came out to review the problem. She insisted that I had to pay for baits to be placed in the attic, because according to her, my contract at that point only covered external baits. She said that I had to pay for it immediately and that she had called to verify this on the phone. My only option according to her to avoid the charge was to pay for a year's contract to cover the rest of the year. I refused to do this, because the treatment they had provided for the mice so far was NOT effective. She was also very unprofessional in her discussion of the situation, with her supervisor on the phone. She referred to me as as 'Whatever her name is called', despite having been to my house on at least four occasions. I know her own name to say the least.

Called the company, and the office staff were pleasant. Referred me to their technician who seemed to cover the area. I described the problems we wanted addressed to the technician. He was driving, and said he had to call back to get the address. Said he would come by/call tomorrow morning. No signs of him, so I called his cell. He seemed to have forgotten the job, but said that he was driving to Massachusetts on an emergency call. What? Emergency extermination?? Okay... I was attempting to arrange this for my mother, but at this point had to leave for home in another state. When I arranged the visit, I had made it clear that the primary problem was new insulation coming down at the end of a crawl space, and that we suspected this was because an animal had taken up residence there. Ants in the house was the secondary issue. Eventually he did appear at the house, and inspected the premises. He found the nest and took care of that, which was good, but he just looked down the crawlspace--which is dry and well-lit--and declared that no animal could have gotten in and the insulation must be falling down because it is old. My mother told him that the insulation had just been replaced a year or so ago when the same thing happened, and that it appeared to be a rodent that time, but he said it was impossible. He may or may not have been right, but since he essentially refused to actually go down there and inspect it, who knows? He then said that he would have to come back to spray for the ants, when the weather was better. Eventually he did so, but without calling or announcing his presence, which is not very professional. Throughout, I can only say that communication with him was odd, and he repeatedly didn't call or arrive when he said he was going to. I think that the charges were excessive for the work done. This company had good reviews--not on Angie's List--from other people that mentioned names that were not his, so I think he was the real problem. We would definitely not use the company again.

Paid for mice plan, but could not get an itemized list of what the services covered.....very strange....terminated relationship

Chris has been fantastic, always responsive, listens to what I say and helps at short notice. When I found a Yellow Jacket nest he came out same day and found and treated a second nest I hadn't even seen, I can't say enough good things.

The initial call was for stinging insects flying around my frond door. I called on a Tuesday evening and a technician arrived before noon on Wednesday. He correctly identified the insects as ground-dwelling yellow jackets, and assured me that the spray he would use would not harm the 35 year old cactus they had nested under. While he sprayed, I asked him about occasional carpenter ants in the house. With a quick look he spotted what was drawing the ants to the house, leaf litter in the gutters. Since he was already on site, I asked him to take care of the ant issue. He sprayed for the ants and told me that they would be back if I did not clean out the 'ant food' in my gutters. Everything was over and done with in 45 minutes! No more ants, no more yellow jackets!

This past November, had about 3 mole "run' holes in my yard (massive piles of dirt in a straight line ) caused by moles. I asked to have the moles "eliminated". I told them that this happened once before several years ago. They explained the cost and that any additional removals would be extra. They first had to come to 'examine' the property; then they would call me back and schedule an appt. to address the problem. Already this seemed inefficient - two trips and two phone calls just to kill some moles? I waited for them to call back - it was one week later when they finally came. I was not home but was told by them to wait another week and I should be all set. One week later and the moles were still there. By now, I had 6 mole runs as they had continued to dig over the 2 weeks. I called back and the tech came out again. This time, he asked me if I wanted him to poison the moles. I was confused - isn't this what he was supposed to have done 2.5 weeks ago? I wanted them "eliminated" as their company name suggests. The technician told me that when he came out last time, he only placed sensors (or something) in the ground to make them leave the area. While I appreciate his attempt at 'natural/kind' removal, this was not what I wanted. I was very frustrated. So I waited another week and he came back to poison them...only by this time I had about 8-10 different runs and he decided to only try 3-4 of them (perhaps, he suggested, not all of them were "active") since that was what his original assessment had quoted me for. He thought that this might finally work. Nope - still more moles creating at least 20 different, disgusting holes and plies all over my entire back yard. Furious, I called AGAIN and was told that I would need to pay more money. I pitched a fit, explaining that had they done their job correctly 4 weeks ago, when I only had 3 runs, i wouldn't need to pay more. I ended up having to call my credit card company and file a complaint to have my money refunded. Only then did the company come out and finally rid my yard of the moles.

They did a great job. I was concerned the inspection report noted termite damage and used Angie's List to find an exterminator. They were reasonably priced (within what the inspectors estimated) and have been very responsive regarding the ongoing pest treatment.

5 days later I still have the same amount of ants and when I called them the man I spoke with was short with me and had a big explanation but only stating it would take more time. I paid him a lot of money to get rid of the ants I don't want to have to wait for them to go away. I waited a few more days and I still have the same amount of ants. I tried to call twice today and left a message with no answer or return call. After the way I was treated I just want my money back so I can find another company to take care of the ants.

I have used this company 2-3 times in the past and their service has been satisfactory. I called them 4/17 for service regarding a skunk problem. The woman who answered the phone told me that Marco would call me within 15 minutes or so. A full day later I still had not heard, so I called them again. This time, a man answered the phone and he sounded genuinely distressed that no one had called me. Oddly enough, he never said that he was sorry that no one had called, or that he would go out of his way to see that I was contacted. Marco called me a few minutes later. He told me that he would make my stop his last for the day, saying that he would put out traps that day (Friday). It is now Tuesday, and no one has shown up. I called them again, and the same woman that I spoke to the previous Thursday answered the phone. I expressed my disappointment and suggested that perhaps I should cancel my request. Incredibly, she didn't seem to care, made no effort to ameliorate the situation, and gave me a lecture about being upset with her (which I wasn't). Marco called me back a few minutes ago and apologized profusely, saying that he had forgotten to write down the appointment. He seemed genuinely concerned and was anxious to make things right. OK, fair enough- everyone makes mistakes. However, due to the attitude of the woman on the phone, I would never consider doing business with them again.

I had them in October 2013. They were very professional and I fell in love with them. I referred them to a church.

I do not like them. They inflated the price once they got here. They said that the price did not cover this or that. I found them on Angie's List. I have not used them in years and I would not use them again.

I called the company to say that I heard animals running in my attic. Left message and the owner of the company called immediately. He sent someone to my house right away. When the man arrived he looked in the attic--didn't see any signs of critters so he went outside to check for entrance holes (at this time we had just had one of our blizzards and my roof and area surrounding my house was covered with snow and ice). The exterminator told me he didn't think I had animals running around, but he thought it was the ice sliding off my roof so he didn't want to set any traps (that would be quite a price increase). I insisted it was animals, he set the two traps in my attic and said he would pick them up in a week or whenever something was trapped. Several days went by but nothing was in the traps. Come to find out it WAS the ice sliding off my roof! It was an expensive lesson for me. Next time I hope I listen to the experts! In my defense I had just had my old roof completely replaced (new plywood and all). The sounds from outside are very different than they were with the many layers of the old roof. All in all I must say this company took very good care of me in my time of need and are extremely knowledgeable in their area of expertise. Nice and polite also.

After a thorough inspection, Chris informed me of the issue and told me it did not require a professional treatment. He spent a good deal of time educating me on moth infestations. He did not charge me anything at all because he did not provide a treatment, even after my offers to pay for the visit.

They prompt visited our home, answered questions, and provided a work estimate.

Exterior activity stopped immediately. 3-4 dozen insects came inside the house to die each day for the first week. Activity ceased after 2 weeks.

The tech was very professional, answered all my questions when I called him. When we decided to use him, he told us exactly what he would be doing and was prep the tenants needed to do. He was prompt on the date of the service. He said he would follow up in 2 weeks. He called a couple of days before the 2 weeks were up to schedule the follow up. The house is over 100 years old.

Very prompt & courteous. The treatment for the carpenter ants was warranteed for 6 months, but was more expensive than I anticipated.

The tenants did not complain. As of now I believe they did a good job.
