Description of Work: They took on a very difficult siding job on an unconventional house. The job was harder than anyone expected, but the final result was excellent. When the project was dragging on, they could have taken shortcuts, but insisted on sticking with it and ensuring the job was done properly. And they stand by their work -- a year after the project was complete, a problem arose and they responded immediately.

I never hired him.
Description of Work: Their price for a roof replacement was about 300% higher than three other estimates I received. The salesman was very pushy about having me hire him and then disappeared when I told him the price was out of sight. His price "presentation" lasted over an hour before he actually gave me the cost. The company's BBB rating is not very good either. He was supposed to return to take some photos of the roof to submit for insurance purposes but he never did.

Why are homeowners so disappointed in their contracting experiences? Not even 50% of homeowners answered in industry surveys that they would re-hire their contractor or recommend them to family and friends. Burr customers respond “YES” to those same questions over 98% of the time! Burr follows a two call sales process to assure satisfaction. Our first visit is to meet the customer and learn about their situation and diagnose their needs. Our second visit is to deliver and review a detailed inspection report and proposal to educate them on all aspects of the project. During our first meeting, the homeowner described an awful experience they had with a contractor when some major interior renovations were done. There were still problems and she had high anxiety about another project. She had very unique and detailed specifications, for which we prepared and presented a detailed proposal that few, if any area contractors are qualified or able to perform. As of this writing, their proposed work has not been started.
