We live in a wooded rural area so there are a lot of insects, spiders, ants and mice. They provide us with quarterly pest control to keep them under control and out of the house. They also treated for carpenters ants and came back for a second treatment at no cost when the problem persisted. The best part is that Doug always shows up right at the start of the service window so I don't have to wait around all day.

Overall pleased with their promptness and punctuality. Doug has been especially helpful.

John is the best. He is punctual, pleasant, respectful, thorough, over all excellent. He stays on top of the schedule seamlessly. I don't have to do any planning re scheduling, and considering my busy schedule that is very important to me.

I usually request one individual who is really knowledgeable in what we need extermination for. They have been good and thorough. I live in an older home and it is very wooded so we have a spider problem; the problem is more than a newer home would have. They are glad to come back and re-spray if you continue to have the problem because they have a warranty in place from the first visit. Their technicians are really flexible in the time they can come and are always willing to come out and do that. They have been really great and we have used them for about 3 years. The chemicals they use are safe for my child and cat.

I called and explained what I was looking for, the in-bound call person was easy to deal with, understood what I wanted and set up the service call.

For as much as dealing with a mouse in your house can be, this was a very pleasant experience. I felt very confident in the exterminator's ability as well as the fact that I was getting a very fair value.

He actually didn't charge us because he didn't feel that there was enough of an issue to charge us. I thought that this was very honest. He was also very responsive and showed up right away.

We got them through Angie's List. They said that they didn't think that we had bedbugs based on what they saw because our house was clean and had no traces. They came back once and I have not had a problem since. They did give us a discount for being members of Angie's List. They are excellent. They were well-informed and they educated us.

Naz was very professional. He told us where mice and rodents could enter our home. He was punctual and explained the services in great detail. We are very pleased and would recommend the company.

My phone call was responded to promptly (can't remember if I reached someone or left a message), professionally, efficiently. An appointment was made within a short amount of time. John came out and - after inspection - admitted he was stumped. He was able to tell me detail what it WASN'T, but couldn't be sure what it was that was causing the debris. So he took a sample to send to a lab ... free of charge. He also noticed some small droppings - too small for rodents. And he noticed one dead carpet beetle. He called when he got the report back (again - in a very short amount of time). Droppings were from a caterpillar. Carpet beetle confirmed. The lab had no idea what caused the shavings/debris. So John returned - again free of charge - to apply a powdered insecticide into the crevices of the window (it's a window that doesn't open). He was thorough, explained everything he knew and didn't know, he was friendly, professional, prompt. We'll see what happens, but I trust that everything has been done that can be done at this point. And I was quite impressed that there was no charge because he had no definitive answer as to the cause.

I have used them before, and I think they are very good. They are very thorough and friendly. They also have a nice policy wherein if I have the same issue recurring within 60 days, they will come back out and treat trouble spots. I have had that done before, but I haven’t had to do that this time around. Their price is fair. I would definitely recommend them to others. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

Please see above. Naz showed up within 5 minutes of the stated time, 4 times. He treated the problem areas, and knew where to look for more problem areas. Caution about pets for about 12 hours. Although the company offers 4 weekly visits, which corresponds to the life cycle of the cicada (digger) wasp, most of the critical work is done on the first and second visits. The employee I met was "Naz," who is very professional, an excellent representative for the company.

We got a prompt call back and they arrived punctually at the appointed time. This is the second time we have used them as we were pleased with last year's results. They have a 90-day guarantee to re-spray if we see any continuing evidence of carpenter ant activity which they mentioned clearly again.

I have used them for years and it’s been a fabulous experience. He is on time, organized, efficient, and a lovely guy. He keeps me on schedule and they are easy to reach, responding right away. I have zero complaints with this company. He makes everything so easy.

The service person arrived, I showed him where we had noticed evidence of mice, and he also went thru the house looking for signs of where they were getting in. Then he placed about 20 standard mouse traps baited with peanut butter (several traps per location) some in obvious places, and some where we had never thought of. At about 9pm, the same day he had visited, we suddenly heard traps snapping. It was as if the mice knew we had settled in downstairs, and they were coming out to raid their favorite places. He had stated that he would be back in a week to check the traps but I called the next morning and insisted that he come as soon as he could; I didn't want the traps to start smelling, nor dispose of them myself, plus I had not seen where they all were placed. The fee, about $250 (less because I had an Angies list coupon) covered the three visits. It also entitled me to a 'discounted' return visit price, if I had signed up for an maintenance program within 60 days -- can't recall what the fee would have been for that, because I opted not to do so. Because I did not do so, if I need to call them back now it will cost the $250 all over again. The good thing about having the exterminator come in, is that he found a spot outside the house, which appeared to give them entry, which he had us seal up with expanding foam. He caught lots of mice, and we have not seen or heard evidence of their presence since. The bad thing is that he was a little cursory when he returned; I told him I had heard a mouse struggling up in our attic for several days; he looked up there and said that no mice had been caught. I urged him to go back and look again (we have cellulose up there so it was not that easy for him to do) and the second time he found the dead mouse. Supposedly he counts the traps he sets, so they aren't supposed to "lose" them. Same thing in another location; I told him I smelled a dead one; he said there wasn't one but I made him look again and he found it. So, there's no secret to what they do, and it seems it's smart to use them once to get their expertise in finding the mouse sites, but after that you might as well do it yourself unless you can't deal with the corpses.

Northeast Exterminating were very good. They came on time and took care of the problem. They came three weeks ago and had two follow ups.

Company responded immediately to phone call and came on the day and exact time they said they would come. The exterminator was very professional and knowledgeable. He treated the area in bout 20-30 minutes, explained what he was doing and how to avoid the problem in the future. We may have a follow-up call in about 30 days, however, we have not had a problem since the treatment. We were very pleased with the company's responsiveness, the professionalism of the representative...and the results.

When we called we asked to schedule a visit to give us an estimate. When the technician arrived it was apparent that he was expecting to actually perform the work - he had the traps and poison ready to go. They did everything they said they would and the spring traps were successful in catching a number of mice and voles (we removed the mice and reset the traps a number of times). However we felt that the work peformed did not justify the price ($225 - after the Angies list discount coupon). In retrospect we could have just bought the spring traps ourselves and had just as mutch success. It is unclear whether the poison was necessary.

Within hours of setting the rat traps, one sizable culprit was caught -- in our attached garage. . .a huge relief. Other traps, inside and out, are still set as we speak -- we're hopeful that they're just as effective. What impresses me about Northeast Exterminating is their helpful attitude and reliable punctuality. I run a home-based business and promptness and courtesy are important to me -- a true judge of a client, or in this case, vendor. From the dispatch people on the phone to John making the service calls, everyone at Northeast Exterminating is a pleasure to work with: fair, courteous, reliable, eager to make everything right. Without a doubt I would recommend this company to anyone with ANY type of pest control issue.

I requested service asap since I am allergic to yellowjacket stings. Service was scheduled and performed the next day. Work was professional and completely effective.

They arrived on-time, were responsive to my needs, and accepted my Angie's List coupon several weeks later, which was much appreciated. The technician was knowledgeable and willing to share information with me. I would use them again.
