Description of Work: They got rid of a virus and optimized my home computer.

Description of Work: The On The Fly representative addressed all of the issues that I was having with my computer. Cleaned my computer of all malware and installed software to address this in the future. Also worked on some hardware problems that I was having with my new monitor. The gentleman was easy to talk to and gave me some great advice for corrections and some valuable web sites to visit for help. Fun, yet very professional. Will use in the future if needed. Great price for the session.

Description of Work: The technician arrived an hour early and I was in the shower. He insisted I should have known their time window was an hour Before or after the appointment time. He had to wait in his car while I finished my shower and got dressed. | |When I didn't answer the door he tried to call me from his cell phone, but my phone system blocked his call because he had his cell phone # blocked. | | |He fixed all the problems with my computer but didn't explain anything he did, so I could not learn what to do if any of the problems recurred. | |My home wireless network had to be set up again, and when he had trouble getting my TiVo onto the network he insisted emphatically that the problem was with the TiVo unit. It worked before he came so I kept telling him that people in the past had trouble connecting my TiVo and what they had done. He was going to leave me with the the TiVo not working so I called TiVo customer service and he would not talk to them, but I had the phone on speaker so he could hear what they said. He quickly went back to the computer and, poof! The TiVo was working. He had little to say after that. | |He also spent way too much time in the bathroom. I cannot remember a professional in my house ever doing that before unless they were here working all day. | |He did fix everything that I had on my list of computer problems and I am grateful for that. I was just displeased with his lack of professionalism.

Description of Work: Somehow someway a virus took over my husbands laptop during a software update. We ignored it and then months later decided to try and fix it. It has blocked all of his browsers so that there was no internet and our "antivirus" vendor was worthless. We tried to restore back to a point in time prior to the issue but that wouldn't work with the antivirus and we could remove the antivirus software...so we stopped trying. Months later....we knew we needed help. We called these folks and set up an appointment. They came to the house. They were friendly -they didn't try and sell you anything...they fixed the issues, gave us good recommendations for antivirus and future use. I would use them again for any type of system need.

Description of Work: The technician thoroughly "tuned up" my 2 laptop computers, updated computer and printer software, restored the wireless connection between my printer and the computers, and fixed a number of annoying computer glitches. He was also very patient and informative with this "non-technical" customer. A very positive experience overall.

Description of Work: My computer was working but slow. I dropped off the computer on Saturday 6/7/2014. I called on June 9th and was told the computer was working great. They had to remove virus's .that night I went on my I pod and a prompt came up stating my computer was ready. I called them at 6:40 pm ( they close at 7). I told them that I would be in at 8:30 am since that is what there hours state. I got there at 8:30 am and. No one was there. I there 800 number and was told someone should be there since there hours are at 8:30am. At 9:00 am someone finally did show up. Again, no apology about the time or waiting. I paid him cash and left. That afternoon I tried to get on the computer but could not. I called them and spoke to Justin. He had try a few things and then told me it was cox. Cox was here today 6/11/2014 and. Cox told me that it was the computer . I called justin while the coxt tec was here. Justin kept saying it worked at the shop. I told Justin that I was coming back to show me how it worked. When I there I asked Justin if he worked on my computer. Said somewhat. He could. Not get it to work. He now told me I needed an adapter. He did not have the adapter at the shop. Again, the computer worked fine but slow. I paid for virus's to be removed but now the computer doesn't work. They broke my computer. They tried to blame my Internet service.this is within 24 hours. The computer is at staples 6/11/2014. I am waiting to hear from them. Do not go here. I have never had a company that did not stand behind there workmanship. I am so sorry I paid in cash because I would have stopped payment.

Description of Work: Very professional and fast. They fixed the problem and gave me tips on how to prevent problems in the future. |The only problem we had is that my unit # does not come up in your system so they wandered around before finding my door.
