Description of Work: They came because 2 pipes had burst in our dining room & the heat was out in that zone & on the bedroom floor of our house. Although there had been some very cold weather & I know they must have been inundated with calls, they came within 2 hours of my call. Because of some corroded valves, etc., it took almost 7 hours to repair all the problems, but the person sent was cheerful & professional throughout & didn't leave until he was sure that heat had been fully restored in all zones & that there were no other problems (about 8 p.m.) I would definitely use this company again.

Description of Work: I have used JP four or five times. The last time was the best. Four o'clcock on a holiday weekend Friday afternoon, i called in a panic because of a backed up kitchen sink. I had 12 people coming for dinner. I called Jane in the office, and she arranged to have Terri and Kevin extend their day and come over when they were done at their "previously" last job of the day. They arrived at about 5, and tried to unclog the sink with a snake. Unfortunately, it was too short, and Terri offered me two options. TO call a different plumber with a longer snake, or have him try to locate the pipe, cut it, and snake from there. I took the latter option, and Terri and Kevin located the pipe and cleared the leak. Very impressed by their perseverance to get the job done. Sink fixed, and company never knew.

Description of Work: The lever to open and close the drain in my tub was broken. I was going to try and fix it myself and after talking to some folks at Home Depot I decided that I wasn't up to the job if something went wrong. Called JP Plumbing and Jane in the office answered my questions about pricing (service call and hourly rate), making the appt. The plumber was on time, got right to work. The job ended up being bigger due to rusted, worn out metal and a leak. Parts purchased, work done in three hours. the plumber took time to explain what he was doing, and that it was a good thing I had the work done sooner vs later as the leak could have caused damage to the floor and 1st floor ceiling. He advised me to keep any eye on the ceiling for any water damage. explained the cutting of the hole in a wall to create an access to have the work done, how to have it patched for future access if needed. He cleaned up after himself and I now have a proper working tub. There was sticker shock at the price but I feel good concerning the work that was done.
