The person that came out was very knowledgable. He inspected the central air system. Educated me on how to keep the system clean throughout the year and how to change the filters every three months. He also advised about how to improve the system and prevent any damage to our home. He was very good. he also inspected to see if ducts needed to be cleaned.

I was on vacation so was unable to inquire until two weeks post visit. When I called the office the girl on the phone was very pleasant and said that she'd speak to the person responsible for the quote. I have yet to receive a quote. They are unable or unwilling to do a job they need to consider at least notifying the customer of the situation, not ignore the potential job.

My initial appointment was for Friday, May 29th but Heather (the receptionist) had called me mid-day on Tuesday, May 26th and asked if I was interested in having an AC tech stop by that day since another customer had rescheduled. Since I was free, I accepted the earlier appointment and approximately 15 mins after hanging up the phone with Heather, Michael the AC tech arrived. Michael was very knowledgeable and explained each task he was performing and gave the reason behind it. I chose this company based upon the positive customer experiences and reviews and have to say, from the receptionist down to the technician, I'm very glad I did. Heather was very professional and efficient and Michael was prompt, patient, and skilled at his craft with a keen eye for detail. TMS is well represented by these 2 superb employees. You have won me over as loyal customer. Thank you!!

we contacted them thru angieslist on a monday. we received an email stating they would get back to us in a couple days. here it is friday and still no response! we would have expected at minimum a call back...not sure why these people are considered a super service!

Gave an outrageously high quote for a hot water heater and had the nerve to charge $89 to do so without notifying us when we made the appointment. I'm giving a C for professionalism just because they called to let us know they were on their way over. Will never call them again for anything.

Their representative, Joseph Bigos, arrived promptly on the preschedule time. Joseph was extremely professional yet very friendly.. He allowed me all the time I needed to ask any and ALL questions regards the company and their product. He was very thorough and it was obvious that he was earnest in attempting to create a scenario that would work for my needs yet remain within my budget. I am unable to go forward with this type of change in my heating/cooling system right now but would certainly return to this company when I am able.

We researched several companies as we were deciding about getting air conditioning for our raised ranch home. TMS did the best in educating us on the Mitsubishi products and was very knowledgeable on the latest products. He spent time with us after work and stayed until our questions were answered. He was even kind and patient with our young kids. When we had additional questions he returned and was very professional and personable. He did not use pressure sales tactics but rather made suggestions and offered options of different methods and equipment that would be appropriate for our home layout. Installation went pretty well. The workers were on time and even went back to the shop to substitute the duct vent they had with a different kind we wanted. They were professional and worked hard. I have small kids and my only complaints are some safety issues during installation. For example, a blade was left on the hall floor near the bedrooms for some time while they were in the garage assembling parts. I gave it to them and told them they needed to be on top of these kinds of tools as my kids were in and out of the area. After the installation was done and they left, my daughter found a cigarette lighter on the garage floor. She gave it to me with no issue, but it shouldn't have been there in the first place. Keep the mom-radar on during installation! The techs were fast and our project was done in 2 days as promised. I did have to have a tech come back out and reprogram a digital thermostat as it wan't allowing for all the functions of the unit. That was inconvenient, but they handled it very professionally. The also did the warranty paperwork although a serial number was documented incorrectly and I discovered it when I did a visual inspection of all the equipment. Their office called the manufacturer and gave them the correct number. Bottom line, be involved and alert during installation.

TMS has been outstanding and I have been with them for over a year. Initially, when I had a furnace problem I found TMS on Angie's List. They responded quickly and the technicians were knowledgeable and professional. I recently signed up for the yearly plan. I wouldn't use anyone else.

Everything went fine. One person came to do the work and it took about an hour to an hour and half. We have used the company before. We were pleased with their work.

The installers actually showed up early, which was OK. The workmanship looks great. It looks professional and not haphazard. When the job was finished, the installers cleaned up after themselves. And they answered all our questions.

The came out the same day that I called. Great technician. Did not try and sell me anything. Honest and upfront. Did what was best to fix the issue, explained everything in detail.

It went well. Had the compressor go on my old unit. Pretty honest that it needed to be replaced. Once I received quotes from other vendors on fixing the compressor I just decided to go with TMS to replace it. The quote wasn't as detailed as I wanted at first but after a few emails I received all the details with what unit they were quoting me. Install was simple. They came and did the work without any issues. Quick and Easy.

The whole process went very smoothly. I had received other estimates but was unable to get a commitment of installation dates. It was during the warm season and most were very busy. The representative from Total Comfort Systems came to our house the same day we called, gave us a competitive estimate and schedule the installation for two days later. The installers were very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this company.

This job took much longer than the plumber anticipated but felt they were extremely fair in pricing out this job when we asked for an estimate.Looking back in all honesty I believe they underestimated the amount of time and labor involved with this job but were more than fair by sticking to their original estimate, which we really appreciated. Because of that, I would definitely use them again for any plumbing issues.

The employees from total Mechanical came on time. Were very courtious, explained what work that would be performed. Got right to work. Other than the occasional sound of a drill I never new they were here. When the work was complete, they explained how the new system worked. gave me all of the paperwork & waranty info. Everything was cleaned up completly. Other than the new compressor outside, that is much larger than the old one, you would never know that they were here.

Because they did such a nice job installing central air in my 250 year old house, I contracted with TMS again to bid on installing an updated heating system in our retirement house. I received a competitive bid from another smaller but very competent professional. I chose TMS for several reasons which follow: 1. They were able to come in with a large crew, install the total system, calibrate it and get out within 3 days. 2. They have communication skills that are second to none. ALL questions were answered. All calls to their office were returned within hours. 3. When I quizzed the competitive bidder, and asked about components not included in their bid - the response was "I should have included that”. At the end of the day, their prices were comparable to TMS. The differences? TMS could get the job done well in 3 days - while the competitor had to rely on other colleagues and subs to get the job done over many weeks. I decided to give the job to TMS. 4. ALL work was done. Not just the installation of the boiler, water tank, air handler and humidifier. They ALSO took care of the minor carpentry and painting work that needed to be done. 5. All workers were polite, knowledgeable and professional. Thank you to Ralph, Matt, Mike, Scott and hats off to the job manager, Sean who went above and beyond answering many many questions - all with a sunny disposition. 6. I had an independent mechanical engineer assess the job and work done. He said TMS installed the best system possible to meet the needs of the house. 7. Upon inquiry, I realized TMS had installed 100 more of these identical systems than the competitive bidder. 8. As promised, TMS was in and out in 3 days. All systems tested and calibrated. Preventive maintenance system in place. JOB DONE. Thank you TMS. I couldn’t be happier.

I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service which exceeded expectations. This company comes in with a big crew and aims to get the work done as completely and professionally as possible. After 3 guys spent a full day installing duct work, I asked them if they could relocate the vents. The location of vents was a miscommunication on MY part. Without a blink, they said yes; and put an extra 2 - 3 hours in the job relocating vents to my satisfaction and with no extra charge. These guys work hard, and well. They are polite and professional. They communicate well and return phone calls quickly. They back up there work with a full year service agreement. I have absolutely no complaints.

Totally impressed. On a Saturday, we had a small flood in our basement coming from our AC unit outside. He first identified the issue over the phone told us how to remedy the situation but offered to send someone to double check the problem that day, which they did. They waved that fee when we booked them for routine service on our furnace and AC the next week. These guys were as accommodating, skilled, professional and as honest as they could be. Look no further.

Wow - I couldn't have been more impressed! From the initial handling of my call, to the actual visit and repair work, these folks were amazing, highly professional and fixed our broken system within one hour of arrival (and within two hours of my call to request an appointment) at a very reasonable cost! I plan to use this company again in the future and will recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

We were looking to install central air conditioning and duct work in our home. Our biggest "problem room" was a finished walk-in attic space that is attached to our bedroom. There are 2 skylights in that room and when the sun beats in, the room can easily get to be over 100 degrees. It literally has melted candles. We were told that there was no possible way to get duct work into that room. Obviously I was pretty disappointed because without air conditioning in there, it was pretty much an unusable room. After having met with a few more companies, I was shown just how easy it actually would be to get duct work into that room. I was pretty shocked because I couldn't believe that when HVAC is your business, you wouldn't know how to reach such a space. I will say that their price WAS the least expensive but I was also going to be receiving less work and basically the loss of a living space in my house. We went with another company instead.

Replaced a rare and hard to find part with diligence.

They did a good job, but they didn't remove the old furnace like we had thought they were.
