Description of Work: Installed Trane heat pump system. They took 1 day to do most of the work. We had issues with the appearance of the piping outside the house. And we never got good instructions on operating the system.

Description of Work: Installed mini split heat/air conditioning system. Installation personnel arrived on schedule and were very neat and efficient. System was installed exactly as described by salesman Joe Bigos. They explained how system worked and encouraged us to call TMS if we had any further questions or problems. We asked Joe at the time of installation (November 20, 2013) about the cost of a service contract and we are still waiting for an answer.

Description of Work: We had a Mitsubishi split air conditioning system installed. The installers were very professional, friendly and neat. They explained the steps to the job very patiently and finished the job on time as scheduled. We love the system, it is extremely quiet and this option provides a two zone air conditioning for our two story Colonial. We will definitely use this company in the future to expand the system to a third zone. We are also looking forward to trying out the heating option on the system for a possible savings on fuel in the winter.

Description of Work: TMS installed a Mitsubishi Mr Slim air conditioner in my main living area with an air handler in the attic and ceiling vents for my three bedrooms. I am really unsure about the price being higher lower or average for the install. We were waiting on other companies and they never called to arrange for an estimate. When Mark from TMS arrived I felt comfortable with him and his company and decided to wait no further. The installation took two days. The workers were diligent and answered all of the questions I had. The system works great!! |I would not hesitate to recommend Total Mechanical Systems to f my family or friends.

Description of Work: Another company came in to fix my A/C because I, well, screwed it up. The company told me it that I had blown a fuse and a transformer, and that it would cost nearly $1000. My BS meter went off the charts, kicked them out and called Total Mechanical. | |They came in, said the transformer was fine, replaced a fuse. The even hooked up a new thermostat for me, and gave me a new air filter, all for less than 1/4 of what the other company quoted me. | |Great guys doing honest work for honest pay.

Needed a CO level check and efficiency test for my gas furnace and was never given that readout. Had to call them back to come out and redo so I could actually get what I asked for. I will say they did respond immediately and came back out the day after I called them but I did not think sending the same Tech here was all that professional since he was the one that did not give me what I needed the first time.

We called three contractors for a quote on installing ductless air conditioning for the downstairs of our house. TMS returned our call the same day. They came out and gave us a written estimate within a couple of days of the original call. After comparing their estimate to others, we chose TMS because of the system they proposed and the quoted price. A few days after signing with them they came and installed the system. They came on time, installed the system just as quoted, started it and explained its operation and completely cleaned up the work areas. The system works exactly as promised and is cooling our home perfectly.

Description of Work: TMS consulted and installed a heating and cooing unit in my master bedroom addition. The experience was excellent throughout the purchase life cycle, from coming to a determination on what was the best product for my addition based on evaluating factors such as comfort, price, noise, and energy efficiency. Ultimately went with a mitsubishi ductless system that my wife and I love -- I found TMS to be one of the only companies in the area that are ahead of the curve with technology solutions such as a ductless system.

TMS installed a new Trane whole house air conditioner replacing an old one. We got three quotes and theirs was the lowest by a significant margin. The sales person was very careful in taking measurements to ensure that we got the right size unit and that the coil would fit correctly with our existing hot air furnace. He even called the furnace maker to discuss the airflow requiremnents. In addition to the air conditioner, they replaced the condensate pump and the electronic air filter. I asked them to check the humidifier attached to the furnance which they did ungrudgingly even though I had failed to mention it during the quotation process. They were 100% punctual, polite and professional at all times. They even put on shoe coverings each time they came into the main house. They thoroughly tested the system before leaving. They did a great job!
Description of Work: Removed old outside air conditioner, inside coil, condensate pump and electronic air filter attached to hot air furnace. Replaced with new Trane 3 ton unit outside, 3 ton coil inside, condenstae pump and new "air bear" filter system.
