We prepared for dust and mess, never had any. He coordinated the plumber and electrician. He worked steadily every day, not taking breaks at all. He kept us well informed at each step and spelled out plans for each next day. Dave is good at visualizing the finished job even before he starts. How did it go? Very smoothly and professionally! We are very satisfied and have asked him to do more work for us.

Great service & very professional. Always showed up and did repairs in a timely fashion. Everything looks great.

David did a great job on the bathroom. We did have to wait a little bit for him to start the job, but it was well worth it. David was very repsonsive to our questions throughout the process. He also timely and showed up when he said, and was quick to let me know if there was a schedule change. His helper, Jose, was also responsive to questions, and both left the work area cleaned up each night before leaving. The work itself looks really great. The subway tile walls looks pefect, and the mosaic shower pan does as well. The floor looks great, and you can tell the care that is put into his job. I would definitely hire David again.

They came out pretty quickly to do the quote based on the time we talked to them. They listen to the comments we were making and they proposed some good suggestions during the course of the quote. They were clean while they were here and they did not make a mess. They were also pretty quick to get the quote back to us.

DM Remodeling did an outstanding job during the installation of the trim. Had one hiccup, a baseboard heating supply line was nicked in a couple of areas by a nail causing a water leak. When notified, DM Remodeling immediately called in their plumber (on a Sunday no less) who surveyed the leak (minor), pulled the carpet up, put soaker pads down, and repaired the leak first thing the following morning. DM Remodeling is a true professional whom I would and will call for additional work (window replacement, deck work, etc.)

hat work would start David didn,t return but would email me t Received emails that work would possibly start the middle of February. This project is very important to me because i need my home handicap accesible by end of April as told to DM remodeling. Now not only am I waiting for DM to proceed with .contract and work so is the plumber who already ordered all of the handicapped bathroom items. I wait and wait. Emailed and received no reply. Email again end of March now and he suggests I get someone else. He says he can't dig for the front porch ramp due to hard winter and frozen ground. I said I wpuld wait seeing that spring is nearing. I asked why he can't start indoors! No answer. I now have to start looking again for a carpenter. Almost three months time wa My parents are in their 80's and ill and need to move in with me for everyday care. This is a shame that they are held up. They have no one to care for for them as they live in FL.

My basement has minor flooding damage resulting from a defective toilet float valve. The water damage reached every room in the basement and required extensive sheet rock replacement as well as flooring replacement (carpet). Dave and John did a very professional job! We decided to install tile throughout and we are very happy with the end result. He was very accommodating with the various requests we made during the renovation process. Dave made good recommendations and even alerted us to another minor leak from the upstairs master bathroom. The overall project time frame was longer then we expected but that was more the result of not getting timely payments from our mortgage company. I would highly recommend DM to anyone looking for quality work at a reasonable price.

Dave and John did an outstanding job during the entire project. Removal prep included not only the removal of the trim around the window on the inside, but they also had to remove the exterior board and batten woodwork. The installation included leveling, nailing, liquid insulting, board and batten replacement, new interior trim, and painting. Drop clothes were utilized. Cleanup included all old woodwork and windows being removed from the site. Through no fault of DM Remodeling, the project was delayed 6 weeks due to the local Home Depot not ordering the correct a mount of windows on the initial order. Dave was apologetic and truly sorry for the inconvenience of the delay. Upon completion of the construction of bookcases installed on an existing window seat, I have also asked Dave to do the crown and base moldings to complete our family room remodel.

As a single woman buying my first home; one needing extensive renovations, I needed a contractor and needed one fast. I'd heard and read all the horror stories about contractors failing to meet commitments, killing you on change orders, treating woman like idiots, etc., that's why I went to Angies list for advice. I asked five contractors to bid on work that touched every part of my soon to be home. Outside- new front steps and replacing an area of shingles that had been poorly repaired. KItchen - new tile floor and back splash, dishwasher and built in microwave installed. Bedrooms - sanded and poly, ceiling fans and switches installed. Downstairs bath - GFI and bathroom fan installed and a new shower faucet. Upstairs - weird existing bathroom had a sink and a tub, no toilet! Converted to sink and toilet with tile floor. Upstairs hallway to nowhere - converted to full bathroom with tile floor. So my one toilet, three bedroom house went to three toilets with two full baths and one half bath! One contractor I asked for an estimate asked to borrow my tape measure because he didn't bring one or any paper. In the end I picked DM remodeling for a lot of reasons including Angies list and never regretted it. Dave did what he said, when he said and didn't nickel and dime me on small requests. I am so glad I didn't pick another contractor, I whole heartily recommend him for your next project.

This work was done very professionally and it was easy to see that Dave was concerned about the quality he was giving to a customer. Not only his work but in his oversight of his subs. Any future work I need DM Remodeling will be the first call. My wife and I was very happy with the finished product. Show Room Quality!!!!!!

I rent the top floor apartment of a two-family house. One of the supply lines in my bathroom went, flooding the downstairs apartment's bathroom and damaging the ceiling, portions of two walls, and the vanity cabinet. My landlord lives out of state, so he asked me to arrange the repairs. I called several contractors (only two of whom called back - one provided an estimate in line with DM Remodeling's but couldn't start the job for several weeks, the other quoted over triple [$3800] for the job) before a friend told me about Angie's List. DM Remodeling was the first Angie's List contractor I contacted. From the start, David Maher was professional and responsive. He returned my call promptly and came out to provide an estimate the following business day. His price was in line with what I expected and he was able to start immediately after my landlord approved the work. The work included removing the trim, fixtures and vanity, replacing the drywall and insulation for the entire ceiling and portions of two walls, taping and painting the replaced sections, installing a new vanity, sink, top and side splash (which included cutting the top to fit and cutting the hole for the drop-in sink, installing the sink and drain and replacing the trap and supply lines), and reinstalling the lighting fixtures, medicine cabinet and trim. The work was done quickly and efficiently. The quality was excellent, and everything looks great - which is not a trivial thing to accomplish in an old house where nothing is square. When we ran into a snag (my neighbors wanted a new vanity cabinet in the same style as the old one, and they are hard to find), David assisted us in finding a replacement that was within our budget. I was also impressed by his professional and friendly attitude over the course of the job and the way he communicated with me and my neighbors and worked around our scheduling conflicts. All in all, very happy with the results and would highly recommend.

The estimates presented were affordable and accurate. Receipts were provided for all materials purchased. Work was done on time and professionally. David Maher arrives on time, adheres to estimates quoted and is very accurate about the cost of materials. He is a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend DM Remodeling.
