Work was done quickly and the crew was very professional.

Dave was very quick to respond to my initial call for a quote. He came over the next day and provided me with the most competitive quote of all I received. Although this is the holiday season and he is busy, he was able to squeeze me in and get the work done in 1 week. I am very pleased with my new bathroom.

David's work is excellent - you can't tell where he replaced the siding and cornerboards that were damaged by woodpeckers. They haven't been back since!

The quality of his work is first rate. The work site was always clean, well organized, and he took care to keep dust and dirt cleaned up on my stairs and floors. Dave spent the time to do the work right the first time. I'm extremely pleased with the results. I will definately call him again to quote on other work I need done in my home.

Extremely professional job. He and his crew addressed all of the damage and made suggestions to help us avoid future problems. He took extra time and effort to ensure that there were no hidden issues and brought all additional needs forward to our insurance company. The job included ceilings, walls, floors, and insulation. We were very pleased with his honest, and open customer service. We never felt for a second that we were not being dealt with honestly. The entire job was in excess of $12K. The end result was better looking than it was originally.

The work provided was top notch. David was clean, hard working, very capable and talented as well as courteous. He kept me updated on everything and was very clear with any scope changes as well as adjusted costs. He is a true professional, and I highly recommend David and DM Remodeling.

David provided a detailed, written estimate shortly after his examination of the work to be done. He also provided a schedule of when work could be started. David's helper was in my driveway at approximately 8:15 every morning, and David and he were at the front door at exactly 8:30 a.m. (I have never had a contractor this precise in his timing before.) David let me know what they would be doing that day and approximately how long it would take. David and his helper cleaned up their work area every day, vacuuming, etc. When I asked for additional items, David quickly provided a change order with their estimated cost.

Came out and provided a written estimate for the work, and then arranged a date to complete the work. Great, prompt workmanship. Completed the job in two hours. When I started looking for someone to repair this, I half-expected the right answer would be replacing the entire door! Temperatures had to be above freezing for the glue to set for 24 hours, which delayed the project until spring. He came highly recommended, and has a project backlog, so don't be surprised if you have to wait a bit. Well worth the delay to get it done correctly.

David had to work around a family with three children while they were living in the house. He was very clean and quick with the work. The finished product is beautiful. He also coordinated with a plumber to complete the project.

David responded to my initial contact promptly and let me know I would have to wait several months for the work to be done as he was booked with other jobs. When the work began he and his assistant were punctual, polite, and conscientious. I was able to use the plumber and electrician of my choice with no problem which probably saved me a little bit. I could not be happier with the work David and his assistant did as well as the outcome of the remodel.

We are extremely happy with the restoration project DM Remodeling did for our family home in Waterford. DM Remodeling transformed the home and it looks better than it ever has, even when the home was first built by our family over 57 years ago. From new hardwood floors, upgraded mill work through out, granite counter tops in the kitchen, interior wall and ceiling repairs throughout, new electrical system, and repainted interior. DM remodeling orchestrated the whole project and we were fortunate to have them take care of things so effectively, given that we were coordinating with him from more than 1,400 miles away in Southwest Florida. David Maher, owner was a great resource and provided excellent advice when needed and followed through on all of his commitments. He managed his sub-contractors well and worked well with service providers we had lined up, too. He exceeded our expectations in terms of communications and follow up. We were blessed to have him help us with this project. DM Remodeling is A++ in our book.

Excellent work! Dave did what he said he would do for the price he quoted. He was on time, courteous, worked diligently and cleaned up after himself each day during the work. This was a small job that he fit in between other larger work he was doing. It wa a quality job and I would not hesitate to use him again.

Dave is very thorough and Conscientious in his work with greatattenti on to details. His work is thoroughly professional and accomplished in a timely manner. He leaves the work area clean at the end of each day and does his best to ensure there is limited impact on the customer and non-work areas,.

DM Remodeling (Dave Maher) was very responsive to our request for a quote. He was also very accommodating by working with us on what we could do to keep the price down, describing the rip out we could do as well as the finished painting we could do. We got separate quotes from the electrician and plumber and paid them separately, but Dave coordinated with them and they were there when he said they would be there. Dave worked continuously on the job until it was complete, only taking Sundays off. He finished the work in the approximate time that he estimated. Additional work (upgrade to tile and installation of support column in basement) was priced fairly and clearly itemized. Dave coordinated with the building inspector and got the appropriate approvals, which was completely transparent to us. The quality of the work is fantastic and Dave's attention to detail is impressive. We would definitely go to DM Remodeling for future work and would recommend him to anyone.

Excellent communication and documentation. Fair and reasonable prices. Very through and meticulous. Job was completed exceeding my expectations. I feel very confident in David's capabilities and knowledge in general contracting/repair. Will be contacting again for future remodeling.

Great job! He Has a good group of subs who work well on scheduling that kept us moving on schedule. The quality of his work is outstanding. The reason I chose David was his creativity and the confidence he showed in his own ability. He was able to work with some challenging spaces, our home was built in 1790. We were able to talk through situations, and when there was any question about how to do things we stopped and talked it through in order to achieve the best outcome. As in any remodel, it is critical to have good communication. An open door both ways. David and his helper Matt were a joy to have around, respectful of our home and family ( of which we now feel they are a part!) there was always an upbeat atmosphere, a sense of "git r done' that kept things rolling along. We have more to do next year and fully plan on making sure we are on his schedule. Fully trustworthy and responsible, very capable!

They did an excellent job and completed the project in the the stated time frame. They were conscientious, professional, and very friendly and polite in completing the work. They did a nice job of cleaning up the worksite when they were finished. We are very happy with our beautiful new deck!

Before construction on the new deck began, we had to make some design changes in order to get the permit application approved. Dave took care of all of that with input from me. Once the old deck was removed, Dave began putting the new deck up. He was careful when removing some of the vinyl siding where the new ledger board was to be placed. That was important because I wanted to reuse the old siding rather than replace it with new siding that wouldn't be a perfect color/fade match. Dave's skill level and knowledge of construction techniques is excellent. Every time a problem arose he had a good, workable solution in his bag of tricks. Ledyard is known as "The Land Of Many Rock" and Dave met ALL of them when he started to dig the holes for the concrete suppports. Some of the rocks that he encountered were almost large enough to land a helicopter on. Fortunately, Dave was able to slide, shove and coax all of them out of the way and get down to the 42 inch depth that is required by code. I am very pleased with my new deck and wouldn't hesitate to recommend DM Remodeling for this type of job.

David was absolutely great- he showed up at the agreed upon time, listened to our list of needs, took measurements, made many helpful suggestions, and was extremely accommodating with his time, and emailed us a detailed estimate.. He did tell us in advance that he was booked solid into Feb/March 2015 for the larger projects but could possibly fit in smaller projects toward the end of next month. I was really hoping that he would have a cancelation so that some of the work could be performed sooner, since we have to move out of our apartment by December and have to get the messier projects done before then. But judging by his impressive ratings, we realize that's not likely to happen, and are now in the process of contacting other providers to get the more pressing projects completed. We definitely still hope to get David involved in the near future!

Dave was wonderful. He completed the job quickly, was on time, polite, and cleaned every day. He also communicated well via email and the phone. Provided invoices and payment reminders. Kept us updated. The quality of the work is great as well as the other little things that can drive you crazy if they don't get done, such as the billing, answering emails and questions, etc.

Dave removed 2 thru-wall ac units from our condo and relocated them upstairs to our neighbor to replace older units. We had just installed mini-split ductless heat pumps) . Dave is a superb craftsman, one of a new generation that cares! Outside front required new vinyl shakes tha matched perfectly. Inside walls were to perefection! We have seen his work at neighbors and in our unit, and are getting estimates for additional work. We would recommend him for any remodeling job! A truly analytical mind to solve any remodeling problem!!

Looks great, very concerned with complying to code, even added extra support not required. Went the extra step to make sure the site was cleaned each day and even power washed old concrete slab when project was completed. Completed project in less time than expected and started when promised. Pricing was very fair. Used good quality lumber, much better than my local box store. Replaced all the flashing instead of just using the old flashing. Look forward to other projects with this company.
