I contacted Tony via email for an estimate on installing a disposal as well as water softener (if needed). He responded same day at was at my house for an estimate a few days later! He was very helpful and took time to answer all my questions, and was quick with getting an estimate back to me. the estimate was around $250.00 for just the disposal installation not including electrical work, which I thought was reasonable. I will be reaching out to him in a few days to actually schedule the installation (we just had our friend finish the electrical work for the installation). We will definitely consider calling him again!

Decided not to use business because of delayed response, found another plumber to do the job

Tony and his gang have done work for us in the past when we first bought the house. Tony and his guys were great. I can't say a negative thing. Nothing. I will say one thing that really puts Tony over the top. While his guys were finishing up in the basement. Tony went through the whole house and inspected everything he did in the past. A couple things needed fixing and adjusting and he did it. No extra charge. That really made me happy. Use these guys, you wont be disappointed.

Tony was terrific. I called him on a Tuesday and he called me right back. As this wasn't an emergency situation, I wanted to schedule the appointment for Friday. He didn't have his appointment schedule with him but said he would get back to me. He called again the next day and we schedule an appointment for Friday, mid-morning. Tony called first thing Friday AM to tell me when he expected to be finished with his first job and at my house. He said between 10:00 and 11:00. He was at my house at 10:00 AM on the dot. He assessed the problem with my bathroom sink immediately and, fortunately, it was not as bad a situation as I imagined. He was professional and so nice to work with. I felt so comfortable with him that when there was an issue with one of the faucets I had purchased, I had no qualms about leaving him at my house while I ran to Home Depot to get a replacement faucet. All together, he fixed the valve issue with my sink and replaced my two faucets in three hours. The quality of his work is excellent and his attention to detail is beyond anything I expected. I highly recommend him.

Overall it was a great experience. I will definitely call Burt again if we have any other plumbing problems.

Called and left a message, got a return phone call relatively quickly. I explained my issues and Tony informed me that my bathroom faucet would be covered under warranty and advised me to call Kohler to get the parts free-of-charge. I wish my previous plumber had told me this when I had talked to him previously about this issue. It took a couple of weeks to get the parts but called Tony as soon as they arrived. Again, he called me right back to schedule a work date. I suggested a date and he was okay with this. It was nice that he would work with my schedule. I was a bit concerned when he called me a few days later to schedule a work date but his explanation for the mix-up was totally reasonable. On the work date he arrived on time and quickly got to work. I think he expected the work to go much faster but my bathroom faucet was more challenging than anticipated. He asked my permission to apply pressure to the part advising me of his concern that the part would break. I appreciated his asking me beforehand. I think he charges more than my old plumber but I had been trying for a month to get my previous plumber to call me back. I am willing to pay for responsive service and a job well done.

I called them and he came out right over almost instantaneously and I was so surprised. He was here in 2 hours. I was not expecting that but they came right away and even said that they would stop over on their way and pick up a new water heater and that was it. That was nice because I was not expecting it. I was expecting him to say that he would give the price, come by in a couple of days or a week but he gave me the price over the phone, about $850 probably he said. He said to me that he would have to install a new valve over the top of the heater which was another 50 bucks. So I said it was fine because it was within my budget. The last one I had a few years ago was around 750 to 800 anyway so it was not any different. He send two guys and they were good. They installed the heater and showed me how to use it. It was gas water heater and they were gone. Price wise I don’t know because I had experience only with one person.

Excellent experience from first interaction to conclusion of repair work. Returned inquiry call in timely manner. Arrived at promised time to complete work. Gave detailed explanation of needed work. Completed all work in a timely manner as described. Even replaced ceiling tiles I had removed to access valves and put ladder away in storage room without me asking to do so.

Water heater stopped working Monday night, left a message at 6pm. By 7:45 the next morning I got a call back, he explained my options. Since my water heater was already ~10yrs old I opted to replace it. By 8:30 I had a plumber at my house, he measured my existing unit, called in the information to the office. By the time he had my old unit removed, another TC truck showed up wit the new water heater and by 11:00am they were all done. They also installed a new ball valve shutoff on the incoming cold water supply to the water heater at my request. The guys were very polite and made sure they understood what I was looking for. an excellent experience.

Tony and Bert have been handling a variety of our plumbing needs for the last six or seven years, from remodeling our 40 year old bathrooms to repairing leaks in 40 year old pipes. Last July we developed a leak in our 50 gallon hot water heater. The leak magically rusted itself closed almost as fast as it started. We called Tony for a quote and he explained, which later proved to be true, that the rust would "hold" for a brief time, but that the 13 year old water heater was on its way out. It held the 5 months or so, allowing us to prepare for the expenditure. We woke up to no hot water on Thursday, called Tony, and he was out here Friday morning with the new 50 gallon A.O. Smith, 10 year heater. He removed the old tank, installed the new tank, was neat, professional and friendly, generously offering me advice on everything from tile grout repair, which I will now attempt myself, to our eventual need for a new well pump (which sadly, he does not provide). Finally, as he was wrapping up, I mentioned a sometime problem we have with one of our toilets. He replaced the flapper, only charging me for the part. I have referred family and neighbors, all of whom have had positive experiences. Why call anyone else?

Saturday between Christmas and New Year. Woke up to our heater not working. Prompt, courteous, neat, professional service. Would definitely use this company again. Thank you Tony at T. C.'s Plumbing! Happy New Year!

Both Tony the owner and Burt were very communicative in all aspects. Tony came to check out what had to be done and gave me an estimate with the understanding that if they had to do any snaking (pipe cleaning) the price may be higher, and both came to do the repair. Burt called me on his way and told me exactly when he would be there, and he was, with Tony coming shortly thereafter. These guys treated me like I was an old friend, rather than a customer. Very satisfied overall!

Didn't take very long. Cleaned the area after he was finished. Toilet is much quieter now too...added bonus. In addition, Tony spent a lot of time answering questions I had about bathroom remodeling a project I'm planning to do soon. I would use T.C.'s again and recommend them.

It was very positive. I would definitely use this company again and highly recommend T.C.'s Plumbing & Heating. I called last week Wednesday or Thursday and a returned call was made that day. Tony said he couldn't do the work that week, but could come the following week and would give me a call on Monday to set up a time. Monday came, I didn't hear back from him and thought, "Great, business as usual in CT in trying to get someone to come and fix something that's broke in your home." But then I figured, if he called back right away last week, he was probably busy - it's Monday after all! So, I called again late in the day, left a message, and reminded him that he was supposed to call me on Monday. It was after hours, but HE DID return my call and said that someone would be here on Wednesday. Bert (Burt?) was the person who showed up and he was GREAT! He fixed the toilets, but explained that the problem could happen again and if it does it would be time to replace the power flush units (I'm not sure if that's what they're called, so I apologize). In the meantime, he said if it happens again, to save some money, he showed me what to do to fix the problem until they absolutely HAVE to be replaced. He was able to fix the tubs as best he could in both bathrooms. The problem is that the builder used cheap plastic instead of brass for the waste & overflows (I hope that's the correct terminology. I'm taking it from my invoice.). So, in one bathroom, in order to change the part from plastic to brass you'd either have to see if you could get to the tub from the basement or put a hole in the shower to get to it. Fortunately, we only use that tub for showers and not baths so it's not a big deal...and at least he greased it so that it was plugging better anyway. For the tub in the kids' bathroom, he got that to plug, but said that if I should ever notice again that the water is draining out while it's filled when the kids are in the bathtub, he could put a foot stopper in to replace what is there now. He was terrific. I'd have him here again. Nice guy, honest, gets the work done. A professional. What more can you ask for? So, if you're questioning if you should call this company - don't question it. Call! They're honest and reliable. And if you're like me, a mom who is tired of the service industry not returning phone calls - so much so that you had to buy a subscription to Angie's list just to find a business that DOES appreciate the business - this is the right plumber for you! We called Tony that morning and left a message and he called back promptly and came right out to your house which was a surprising. We thought we'd have to schedule an appointment for the next week. He was on time for when he said and the work was performed well and very clean. I would call Tony anytime I needed a plumber in the future.

I own a home that was built in the '40s. Over the last 12 years it has had many a hole/leak in the pipes. I noticed a leak in my basement and went on Angie's List to find someone with a great rating that could help me. I was very happy to find TCs Plumbing. I contacted them through the site and received a response very quickly. We scheduled an appointment. Tony came promptly at the scheduled time. He made the repair quickly. I was very, very pleased and would definitely hire him again.

Tony returned my call within a couple of hours. Made an appt for an estimate and showed up on time. We liked his price and made an appointment for the work. Tony was prompt and did a great job. He ran into a couple of unexpected issues (our house was built by a guy that didn't use any standard items) he consulted with me on every issue and was very cooperative with making changes. He worked quickly. Kept me aware of every step. was very neat and cleaned up everything. I highly reccommend him.

Tony returned my call very promptly. He however, explained very clearly and pleasantly that for my particular needs, my condo association had an in-house plumber that I should use. He was very professional and patient. He said that after I called them, if I still needed a plumber, he would be glad to call on me.

Tony was great. Our kitchen sink was leaking from three different spots and he gave us some options for replacement since the original paperwork for the sink was missing and parts are costly. He even gave us a site where we can buy the replacement at his cost. He also unclogged our upstairs bathroom drains and took the time to show me how to do it so that I could do it in the future instead of having to pay him to come back out. It was a great overall experience and we will absolutely use Tony again when we install the new kitchen faucet.

What a great company ! Tony showed up promptly & did the job ! He was quick, clean, & professional. Fixed my problem exactly as I needed it done all within an hour. I expected him to show up, look at the job, charge me a consultation fee, & come back to do the work at a later date. Much to my surprise, he showed up & did the work right then & there. Definitely use TC plumbing if you need a plumber!

My teenage son was home with him and I arrived home just as he had finished the work. He explained what he had done (see above) and what to expect once the gas was turned back on (i.e. the gas fireplace would take about 10 minutes for the pilot to light the first time it is used because of air in the pipe). He was friendly and professional and took the time to explain the work.(It was actually much more frustrating to deal with the gas company since they place you on hold forever and do not give you a time frame for service!)

Tony was very professional. He arrived on time and did a thorough examination of the work involved. He provided a timely quote and followed up diligently, but not excessively, until I made a decision on the contractor. I used someone who was more local to me and that was the main reason he did not get the work.

This was such a great experience. I called these guys in a panic at 8:30AM because my brand new washing machine couldn't be installed due to a faulty shut-off valve. Within 2 hours I had a plumber at my house and not only fixing the problem, but educating me on the components of my house. In addition to replacing the valve, he installed my washer and dryer for me and hooked them up! Such a great experience, will definitely use again.
