Excellent job and we hired them to do a regular clean every 2 weeks to keep the condition top notch while the house is on the market. The original plan was 2-3 cleaners but they were able to send 3 and 1 trainee so multiple floors were done at the same time. The team was able to accommodate my last minute request for full glass (inside & out) cleaning on all the windows which I had forgotten to include when I scheduled the cleaning - they had to stay additional time and were very pleasant about it. The kitchen especially was amazing when they were done. I appreciated that upfront, Victoria offered the Angie's List coupon when I called and that I didn't need to ask about it. All in all, very pleased

It went very well - they did a great job - My house is too big to do in the 4 hours I purchased through a deal at Angie's list though (or two hours for two hard working cleaners), but the work they did complete (3 bathrooms out of the 5 I have) were perfect - shiny and beautiful.

The service was excellent. They accomplished much more than i thought they would be able to in the time they had. I booked the 4 hour special that was advertised on Angie's list as my guests' arrival date was approaching faster than my available time to clean the house. I expected that 4 hours would allow enough time to spruce the bathrooms, the kitchen and possibly the floors. The Belle team did all that and more. Every floor in the house was swept, the halls and living room were dusted, counter tops where i had been piling stuff were organized and even the dog's blankets were folded neatly and stacked on her bed. I'm very happy with the work that was done and will do business with them again.

There were able to squeeze me in on a tight timeline before hosting a Christmas party. They arrived on time and did a fantastic job. They also accept payment by paypal which is awesome... I don't know why home services/contractors etc that accept digital payment are so hard to come by but it's a huge plus in my book. I wasn't really looking to set up a regular housekeeping service but I'll be considering it now!

Belle Home housecleaning were professional and prompt on the phone. I was able to schedule the cleaning fairly soon, but I clearly misunderstood the terms of their service. I was told that the cleaning would cost $40/hour and that there would be two people assigned to the job; I did not realize, however, that this meant it would be $40 per hour PER PERSON! To cut a long story short, the people who cleaned were fine and did a decent job, but I paid double of what I had anticipated. As long you realize what you are paying for and getting, they are a much-recommended and reliable service. It was more than what I was looking for, and I was able to find better options elsewhere.

They informed me on 11-21 they had NOTHING available on Any day until the end of December

I had contracted Belle Home Housecleaning through Angie's List 'Big Deal' offers... $125.00 for 4 hours of cleaning. The young lady was late arriving, but I'm sure it was because this was the first time. Once here she started her timing and gave me the full 4 hours (plus a little more to finish the job) that I had contracted for. She dusted and vacuumed in every room, washed the floors and cleaned sinks, toilets and the shower. I was very impressed at the thoroughness and at how hard she performed her job. She gave me the full value of the contract. Upon completion, I contracted with Belle Home Housecleaning to return on a 2 week schedule. I learned that the 4 hour cleaning counted as Belle's initial, minimum cleaning for their scheduled program.

1460 sq.ft condo cleaned within 4 hrs. Kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, livingroom, dining room, foyer, stairs My only issue was that I requested additional time spent on floor tile grout in bathroom and the results didn't seem thorough.

They are willing to work on specific issues if you ask. Their timing can vary a bit which can be an issue but they're very pleasant overall

We have been very pleased with this company. They've been cleaning our house since approximately September 2013. Our previous service sent out 3-4 women to clean the house on a tri-weekly basis. After some time we felt we were not always getting the clean that we liked. Belle Home has been very consistent with each visit thus far, and they only send out one girl. I enjoy coming home to a clean house. My one complaint is that one time a very strong cleanser was used to mop the floor (it was a different cleaner than the one who usually comes). The smell lingered for quite a while. Other than that, the service has been excellent and I would recommend them to other people.

The cleanings went OK. They were always on time. They did a decent job of cleaning and the ladies were nice enough. I have no real complaints. The two reasons we didn't keep them coming is 1) we couldn't justify spending the money as we were going into the summer when one of us is off work and can therefore keep house, and 2) we were kind of wanting them to more aggressively engage with our clutter problem. I suppose that was an unrealistic expectation for a housecleaning service and we have subsequently considered hiring an organizer. So, in short, no complaints...

Originally, the initial cleaning was fine, it was great. What I liked about it was that they were local. They were from the area. When they were short a couple of folks, they brought a few more folks in to do the initial cleaning. They got right back to me through email.

***Update 3/10/14*** After our initial review, Belle "fired" us as their client. Apparently they don't like being criticized on Angie's List, and have the luxury of only dealing with clients who give nice reviews. Also, they didn't like that we put the name of the cleaner in our review. Generally in online reviews the idea is to share the most pertinent details, so we didn't feel it was unreasonable to name the cleaner. However we have removed her name because we did like her enough to keep her as our cleaner, and in fact we changed our weekly cleaning day to accommodate her schedule- even though it was a day we didn't prefer. To be fair, we didn't share all of our complaints about our cleaner with Belle because they were relatively minor (banging things around, not remembering where to replace items, missing certain spots, etc). Still, taken together they were indicative of a certain level of carelessness. We did mention some of these in a gentle way to the cleaner- perhaps we were not direct enough. But overall we kind of felt like it was just her nature and not something we could change- which is why we didn't bring it up to Belle. As for the other items, I don't recall Belle ever sending 2 cleaners, except for one to learn our house as a backup. We never requested only one person, but we wanted the same person/people every time. I also don't recall requesting a 9am start time, as we would have preferred 8am. We may have had to accommodate the cleaner's schedule- but I have changed the grade in case this was our misunderstanding. However, I have also changed the Professionalism grade to F since I think it is highly unprofessional to fire a client just because you don't like what they say on a review site. We gave what we thought was a fair and thoughtful rating, but instead of contacting us to work things out, they just fired us. Apparently they are not in the business of building relationships- which is evident by the fact that the majority of their reviews seem to be from one time cleanings. ***Original review*** We've been using Belle for a couple of years. Previously we had a husband and wife team who did a decent job, but did not speak English well, which was frustrating at times. We heard about Belle and liked the idea of using a service and not being liable for household employee taxes- and the price they quoted was comparable to what we had been paying. However, we were surprised when they only assigned one cleaner to our house when we thought it was more of a two-person job. The cleaning was generally good, but we cycled through 3 or 4 cleaners in a period of months- just as someone would get to know our house and we liked them, they'd quit. Belle would assure us they were giving us a solid person and then they'd leave. Some of this is the nature of the business, but we kind of felt that if Belle was a good employer, they would have better success with keeping people. Also, they would sometimes send a new cleaner with no prior notice- we had to tell them to always notify us ahead of time if we weren't going to have the same person. We were fed up and decided that if the next person left, then we would find another service or go back to our previous cleaners. Fortunately, the last person they assigned has stuck around for over a year. We have some frustrations/annoyances with her but frankly are hesitant to request another cleaner because we don't want to get on the merry-go-round of cleaners again. One of the issues is that she uses a very large amount of paper towels when doing our cleaning- we did mention to Belle that we prefer rags or towels so as to not have so much waste- since we are very environmentally concerned and this conflicts with Belle's eco-friendly message. She did reduce a little but still uses maybe half a roll each time- it just seems to be her cleaning method. Overall we are lukewarm about Belle and are considering looking for another cleaner- but it's almost like a "devil you know" kind of situation. We don't want a service where we get a random person each time, but most services operate that way and it's hard to find solo cleaners. And I guess you can't even fully trust Angie's List since Belle's overall grade is an A and I would definitely not give them that!

I sent out several emails through angieslist trying to find someone to come clean my house on short notice because both the husband and myself had been sick with the flu and a large party was scheduled for our house this weekend. Belles was the only one to respond immediately. She rearranged her staff to accommodate me and then stayed later to be sure it was finished. Everything downstairs was scrubbed, polished and sparkled. I am looking forward to a long relationship with them now as I don't clean that well anymore. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks Karen for alleviating one huge stress.

My experience with Belle Home Housecleaning has been going fine. They have just been meeting our needs with house cleaning and pretty responsive and done a real good job with the actual cleaning. I have had a lot of storms and they have had to reschedule. There are people who didn't come by just because of the driving conditions. They are pretty good about calling and reschedule that if they aren't able to come. Everything else goes pretty well.

Belle Home has been fantastic from beginning to now. We have been using their bi-weekly cleaning services for approximately one month now. They are thorough and efficient. They are more than accommodating when you need to make special requests. We can't speak highly enough of them.

This was supposed to be a bargain rate for 4 hours of housecleaning normally priced at over $200.00. It was OK not outstanding and clearly inferior at the non-discounted price. For example, knobs on the stove were not removed and cleaned. When the worker reached the 3hr 20 minute mark she asked if I really wanted the upstairs bathroom cleaned, since she might not have time to do it all. (It is a small bathroom; one sink)

They did a great job. I will continue to use them biweekly.

I spoke to Mary Jo regarding cleaning my elderly father in law's apartment. At 82 years old he was not able to do it on his own any longer and had let it go for quite some time. He is a heavy smoker so there was a strong odor of tobacco and much of the furniture was affected as well. Mary Jo arranged for an initial thorough cleaning to be followed up every 2-3 weeks. They sent over 2 cleaners who spent about 10 Hrs on the initial visit which they priced at $400 which was fair considering the amount of work to be done. They were very professional and courteous to my father in law. They call in advance of each visit. On the last occasion, my father in law had his schedule mixed up so when they called and arrived he was out and never answered. They took the time to call me telling me they were concerned about him. That meant a lot to know that they took the time to contact me when they were worried about him.

The 2-person team arrived promptly and got to work straight away. The ladies were professional and so very nice. The dust, cobwebs, and general dirt was eliminated by these two wonder-women!

It was very thorough. They did a great job. She arrived a little late but they gave me a discount for the inconvenience of waiting. The cleaner asked if I minded bleach products which I appreciated her asking.

Leaves a hotel like display in the bedrooms and baths.

I was very pleased with the service. Two employees provided a deep clean. The floors looked and felt very clean.
