Description of Work: The service was great, but the logistics of providing it were poor. | |Originally, I had bought a "full day" of housecleaning (which I needed badly), but was talked into a half day with two workers. They were supposed to arrive at 1 pm, but they didn't actually arrive until almost 2 pm (they did call in advance to let me know they were running late). They did stay until 6 pm, but due to the circumstances below, I had to get on the phone with the company when the job wasn't done but my time was up. | |I have a big house, and the service never asked me for square footage or number of rooms needing to be cleaned. Initially, the two women worked together on the kitchen, but spent almost two hours there when so much more needed attention. Eventually they got to the other rooms, but soon I realized I had to prioritize which rooms would go undone or partially done. In the end, after four hours with two people working, the "full day" of housecleaning didn't come close to what I thought I was buying. I can't help but believe that if I had one person for eight hours, and if the service and the workers been better organized in terms of time management, I would have had the house done. | |Of the work that was done, I have to say it was terrific - very detailed and comprehensive. The women were very pleasant and willing to work with me, and they seemed very committed to doing the job well. | |So in summary: Great work. Terrible logistics. |

Description of Work: I've been meaning to review for a long time now, but always felt conflicted because the company is kind, but I wasn't 100% satisfied with the work/situation. We hired this company for a move-in deep cleaning in a smoke filled house. They were very professional, super nice to talk to, and ultimately always got back to me in a timely fashion. The two women who showed up to work were hard workers, punctual, courteous, and knowledgeable. |My concerns were that the amount of hours scheduled were misleading and ultimately did not provide them with enough time to truly deep clean my home. I acurately described the large size of my home and the condition of the house and was told that I would need 2 cleaners for 8 hours. That seemed reasonable, as I was looking for detailing of every nook and cranny. Once 4 hours had passed, they were just reaching the bottom floor and asked if we wanted them to stay longer... I assumed they were staying for 8 hours, but in reality, TWO cleaning people were staying 4 hours, for a total of 8. Had I known that, I would have been adament over the phone that I knew they would need more time. They did offer to stay an extra 30 minutes each, but then had another job to report to, leaving me with an "almost detailed" home. |In addition, there was miscommunication about the fact that I had already paid the deposit, so I was overcharged, but later on, the money was eventually returned. They also offered to send them back later on but by that time, I finished the job with some friends on my own. |I would say that they are great for weekly cleanings, but not for the serious deep cleaning I was looking for. Also, beware of the time frame and ask if 4 hours actually means 12-4 OR if it is 2 people from 12-2. Other than that, I would hire them for weekly stuff. That is my reasoning for the Overall "B"... as it was frustrating to have to do a lot of the work on my own in the end.

Description of Work: They were about an hour late and I had to call and see where they were. Even though I would of appreciated a phone call to say they were running late, they more than made up for it in their professionalism and the quality of work that was done. They basically did the entire house with the exception of my small galley kitchen & my family room. They cleaned my living room, dining room, 2 1/2 baths, 2 bedrooms, home office. From top to bottom. I was originally going to do this monthly, but I've decided to change to twice a month.

Description of Work: It was a Big Deal for $99 for 4 Hours of Eco-Friendly Detailed Housecleaning.

Description of Work: I scheduled to have my house cleaned for 10/15/2011. They told me they would have someone here by 9:30 AM. No one showed up and there was no phone call to let me know. I would not recommend them.

Description of Work: They do housekeeping for us on a weekly basis.
