Description of Work: Installed two, 2 inch glide out shelves | My first contact with Alex Modica was in mid-March. I only wanted the two shelves and I let him talk me into four shelves for a total cost of $1349. After thinking about it I decided I really only did want to two. Alex was quite rude when I called to change the order , I have an email from him where he apologize for being so curt. Regardless he put in the order and I never heard anything back until I finally called May 28. The two little shelves conveniently had just been received though I had never received any follow-up calls whatsoever. The install was scheduled approximately June 16 The installer Jeff was an hour and a half late . when I called him after waiting an hour he said he did not have my phone number though we had spoken on the phone twice before that. He wasn't very apologetic at all and when he finally did show up I just couldn't wait till he was done and the whole experience would be over with . I like my two little glide out shelves but even with the discount the price was outrageous and the service was terrible . |

As you mentioned, I did email you after we spoke about the change order because, when I reflected on the conversation, I became concerned that I may have sounded curt. As I explained on the phone, changing the order was not a problem at all, rather I was concerned that you felt I had “talked you into” purchasing more than two glide-outs. All I did was make you aware of other possibilities for organizing your space, which you seemed to like at the time. Despite our best efforts, delays happen both with products and installs. What I can say is that we could have done a better job in communicating both, and from this experience we’ve made some changes so that doesn’t happen again. Thanks for taking time to give us a review. While your low marks aren’t what we are used to, they’ve helped us identify what we can do even better. We’re glad you are enjoying the glide-outs.

Description of Work: I really love the shelving and the quality is super. My only issue is the cost. I do believe in that fact that you get what you pay for so if these are in your budget, I'd say go for it. The installation, sales person and delivery all went very well. These will last forever and I am certain they can take a lot of abuse.

Description of Work: The provider came to our home to provide an estimate. He was professional, thorough, and attentive, and his product appears to be a high quality one. However, the estimate came in much higher than we expected and much higher than our budget (we based our expectations on the advertisement which stated that a "typical" kitchen would cost $2,500; all we wanted to do was a very small pantry - 1.5" wide - and the total price, not including the Angie's List discount, was $2,250), so we are unable to move forward at this time.
