Best Appliance Repair

Description of Work: My freezer broke. Larry fixed it. He know's what he's doing. You can text him which is awesome. Prepare to pay the piper though. He makes more money than my doctor or dentist.

Description of Work: The water dispenser on my refrigerator has not worked for several months, so when the ice maker seemed to be not making enough ice, I called Larry. He made a date for the day after tomorrow first thing in the morning. When he realized that he had double booked, he came over on the prior evening. He immediately diagnosed the problem. He ordered a part to remedy the water problem and installed it a few days later. He adjusted the temp for the ice. He incidentally also helped us with a stuck drawer on our stove. He gave us a discount because we found him on Angie's List. I felt his prices were high, but it was well worth having such good service. He is also a really nice guy.

Description of Work: My 16 year old dryer stopped working. I called Best Appliance repair after searching Angie's List, and Larry came the same day and repaired it. He was very professional, knowledgeable and had it working again in no time. The problem was a broken belt, which he showed me, and gave the machine a diagnostic to be sure it is in working order. Description of Work: Repaired inoperative Thermidor oven. No parts needed but took about an hour as some disassembly and reassembly was involved in the repair. Seemed very knowledgeable about the brand repaired. Personable and prompt. Also took a few minutes to show me some important maintenance and operation details on our DCS stove top unit at no cost.

Description of Work: I described a problem on the phone with my old refrigerator and they said the would need to actually see it. The guy came out the next day, but after only listening to what the refrigerator was doing, said he thought it was probably the relay switch, which would cost between $250 and $300 to fix, but because of the age he would not recommend doing it. I was not convinced he was convinced of what the problem was. It sounded more as if this was only a guess, so I decided not to repair it. His charge for coming out and listening for about ten minutes was $95 which I thought was a bit steep, but he had told me in advance that was the charge for a service call so I could hardly complain.

Description of Work: Larry, the owner , is very prompt and professional. He came to my house within 2 hours of my call and fixed my broken washing machine immediately.
