Best Appliance Repair

Larry is a true professional. He knows his stuff. He came back when there was a leak in the refrig water line. He replaced a section of the line at no charge. He did this because it took quite a while for the ice maker part to come in, although it was not his fault. We've hired Larry before. I highly recommend him. I will, without hesitation, use him when the next appliance needs repair.

Super service! I had a very hard to diagnose problem with my oven thermostat. Best Appliance was the third company to look at it. They figured out the issue, rectified it and even cleaned up my burners on the way out. Really terrific, professional job. And nice guy, too.

Larry is 1000% professional. Super workmanship, with a keen eye for detail. He is the guy I will call for any future white goods repairs.

Provider/owner returned initial call promptly and came the next day after calling to say he was on his way. Arrived with a helper. They were courteous, efficient and the problems/solutions were explained thoroughly. Owner was willing to take care of a few things that I had not mentioned during the initial call. I rated the price good, not really knowing what other people would have charged for the work completed. But I will certainly not hesitate to call him again and recommend him highly to friends and family.

Excellent service. I found Larry on Angie's List, called him, made an appointment, he came over within a day as planned, and he fixed my problem within 45 minutes. Very efficient, conscientious, and friendly. He didn't even give me grief for all the cat hair he had to clean out of the compressor. :)

I called Larry on Monday morning early. He called me right back - came over the next morning and checking out my washing machine which had stopped working. Larry was very honest and told me the machine was not worth fixing (he could have sold me an expensive repair instead but he didn't try to do that at all). Larry advised me on the brands of machines he thinks are good and what to avoid when shopping for a new machine. I very much appreciated his honesty and will definitely call him again if the need arises.

I contacted Larry on a Monday. He came on Thursday of the same week, right on time. He diagnosed the problem and returned on Saturday to replace the parts. He was very efficient, came exactly when he said he would and wasted no time repairing the dryer. His estimate was exactly how much he charged me. He even saw a problem with the dryer vent and replaced it with no additional charge.

He came out quickly, finished the work in a timely manner and would definitely use him again.

Overall, it went abut as good s it could. Larry was able to solve my issue on the phone, and didn't unnecessarily come over. He was honest and professional. He is my first phone call at my next sign of trouble!

I have an older secondary fridge in my basement that was getting warmer as the week was going on - and it was full of food for Easter dinner. I called Best Appliance (Larry) at nine, he was at my house by 11:35 (he had estimated between 11-noon and he called before he left to let me know he was on the way). We had discussed the issue on the phone but luckily it was much simpler than anticipated. It took him about 45 minutes. As he was preparing to leave I happened to mention the water dispenser/ice maker in my main fridge needed to be shut off because of a leak behind the fridge. He offered to come fix it another time within 90 days and not charge me another service call, and gave me an approximate price for the work. Great experience - and even if I felt the service charge was a little pricey, I need to remember that I had an appointment and my issue was fixed only three hours after I called. Worth the price to me!

Larry was fantastic and really knows what he is doing. No wasted time, totally professional, great experience. I'll be keeping his number handy for any future appliance issues.

After paying almost 50% of the value of a new washer to make a simple repair, I would have expected better service from Larry. I was very disappointed with the lack of professionalism and by he not being willing to fix his own error.

Our refrigerator and freezer suddenly stopped working. Larry came out promptly, diagnosed the problem, and replaced the part the next day (after we'd defrosted it so he could access the mechanics.) He was polite, professional, and honest. He even looked at my dryer which had been acting up and gave me his opinion on whether it was worth fixing (it wasn't). I have already called him again for another appliance problem and he will be my go-to person for future problems.

I called on Saturday night. He was here at 9:50am Monday. Most impressive? He listened to my rendition of the symptoms....and what I thought might be the problem, and he did not write me off! I saw that there was an Angie's list special. I told him I found him on Angie's...I didn't get any discount. This is my 1st time with a broken appliance...... I thought that $145.00 labor for 1/2 hour work might have been excessive.....but, I am new to this. Just saying....

I had accumulated some deferred maintenance / repairs on four major appliances, Wall Oven, Dishwasher, Ice Maker (Refrigerator) and Clothes Washer. The wall oven is made by Kitchen Aid - they seem to have the market cornered for smaller ovens (24" wide). This oven is about ten years old and this was the 2nd repair in less than one year. This time it was the main circuit board and Kitchen Aid was no longer supplying parts. So the oven was not repairable. The dishwasher, is made by G.E. and it too was about 10 years old and had been repaired within the last year, Many dishwashers fill with water until they reach a certain level, this model fills by a timer, so if a filter gets clogged or your water pressure drops you don't get the proper amount of water in the machine. The water volume has a direct impact on how clean the dishes are at the end of the cycle. Larry told me he thought the water level was fine and he removed and inspected the pump and he thought that was fine too. He recommended I stop using Cascade and use Finish, he said Cascade had changed their formula to comply with some changes the EPA had mandated and it was not as effective as the brand he recommended. I can say after 3-4 loads he seems to have been right and he saved me $65 to replace the pump I thought was bad. The refrigerator (ice maker) problem he diagnosed before even pulling the unit away from the wall as he told me this model was notorious for water leaks where the hose connected with the refrigerator and he was correct. He is pull the grill off the front and vacuumed the condenser coils thus saving me from a future service call. The clothes washer, I thought had a clogged input hose or filter because it seemed it took a long time for the washer to complete a cycle. Larry could have sold me something but instead he watched it fill with hot water and emptied and fill again with cold water. He put everything back and we called it a day. Larry (the sole proprietor) was very courteous and pleasant to deal with.

Our wall ovens died Thanksgiving morning. We called Larry the next day after having found him here on Angies list. He said to us "why didn't you call me yesterday? i would have come." Unbelievable. He diagnosed the problem immediately and figured out the best and most cost effective solution. He explained what needed to be done and why very clearly. No hidden surprises. As soon as he could get the part ( was backordered) he came and installed it. He was perfect. I would strongly recommend him to anyone. A plus, 5 stars.

The repair man came to our house the day after we called. He was very helpful and professional. He quickly have us a very reasonable quote. Parts had to be ordered and returned later that same week to do the repairs. Both appliances are now working perfectly. He saved us from having to get a new washing machine. I would highly recommend Best Appliance.

Larry was able to come the day after I called -- first thing in the morning. He was very prompt, courteous, professonal and neat. I won't hesitate to use him in the future for any type of major appliance repair.

I called Larry (Reddock Sr) on Tuesday evening to repair my Bosch dishwasher and he told me he could come in the next morning (Wednesday). He came on time and diagnosed the problem quickly, ordered the part while he was still here and said that he would get it the next day and gave me an appointment for Friday morning. He came in quickly got to the problem, fixed it and kept within his estimated time. I am very happy with the service and would recommend him highly. Just a very knowledgeble, skilled and smart man.

Larry was great, showed up when he said he would and quickly diagnosed and repaired the problems. Professional, courteous and knowledgeable.

Larry was SO helpful this morning when I called re: two A/C units that aren't working too well. On the phone he asked me several questions regarding the units, room sizes, BTUs, how various components look, etc. and stayed on the phone with me while I looked for many of the items he mentioned. As it turns out, there is probably nothing I can do for these units but replace them. Larry wasn't selling anything, didn't recommend a salesperson, nothing. He just helped me assess the situation. I really appreciated it so much. What a nice guy
