I am very pleased with the service. Previous owner left the master bathtub in bad state of disrepair, with significant mineral deposits and staining. Gary was able to take the bathtub, which was so dirty and disgusting and made it clean like new. Gary's also a very nice guy to talk to and he gave me tips on keeping the tub in good shape.

Great! I texted Gary to see if he could stop by for a quote on resurfacing our tub. He came over that day and said we don't need our tub refinished, just a mat to cover the scratches on the bottom. So he saved us alot of money!

I've had many, many contractors in my house. Few if any as professional as Gary. Overall, great guy. Super knowledgable about his craft and NEVER pushes for work that is unnecessary. I am very glad I found Gary from Bathtub RX. I was looking for a capable honest glazing professional to repair, fix-up or reglaze my 75 year-old bathtub which had been reglazed 13 years earlier. Over the years, workmen had come in to make repairs to plumbing, replace tub fixtures and wall tile and they left behind chips in the finish. The tub had also grown dull and stained in some areas. When Gary arrived, he carefully and honestly assessed the status of the finish, and then discussed the possible repair options in consideration of my budget. Since he was able to match the paint color of my tub, he determined that a complete redo was not necessary. He then went right to work cleaning, repairing and touching-up the finish, and before long my bathtub was looking better than I have seen it in years. I had an older cast iron tub that I didn't want to get rid of so I called Gary at Bathtub Rx. We had used him previously for another tub and was anxious to use his services again. Needless to say the tub came out fantastic! The finish was perfect. Nice and smooth with no drips. We had this done back in July 2014 and yesterday I emailed Gary because it looked like the paint on the grip surface of the floor was chipping. Gary emailed me back within minutes and scheduled to come out to the house today. The good news was that it was simply a light film of soap scum. I had been worried about using too much force while cleaning but Gary assured me of the durability of the finish plus the three year warranty. He cleaned the entire tub and I was more than happy to tip him for his time. I rarely have come across a company with such a great product and customer service. I would highly recommend Bathtub Rx to anyone looking to refurbish an old tub as its well worth it.

The bath tubs look great. They were very responsive and helpful with my questions. I would highly recommend them if you want your old cast iron bath tubs to look new.

We had a whole house remodel and as we are now close to the end of the project, we started cleaning up. We discovered a one inch hole in our new acrylic tub!! All brand new tile work and plumbing have been completed as well so ripping out this new tub would be the last option. There's been no effort or priority from our builder to fix it so we decided to call Gary and not waste any time. Gary arrived a few minutes early - that's an A+ right there. Then he quickly analyzed the damage and explained the materials needed and the process so that I'd understand what would be done. The tub had rust stains and was caked with dust and construction debris, but he cleaned it all up until it looked new again and then it was easier to identify any other damage. There indeed other areas that he found were chipped but not easy to spot unless you really got up close and looked. But his fixes were smooth and almost undetectable - that hole is gone and it looks like a new tub again! Thanks Gary!

Gary emailed me a few times prior to the day of the job so we would be on the same page regarding scheduling. He showed up exactly on time and very carefully taped and paper protected the surrounding work area to avoid getting any of the finish on the tile, walls, floor, etc. He brought a fan with him which kept the fumes from spreading past the room. In fact I found the odor to be much less than expected which is important to anyone with pets or kids. The job was completed in less than 5 hours so anyone scheduling this job can still work a half day afterwards if they need to. Gary was very clean regarding the rugs and floors leading to the upstairs bath room. I have had other contractors in the past who leave stains and were not as attentive as Gary. I appreciated that Gary first professionally cleaned the tub and gave me the option to accept that as the job (for a lesser cost) which to some customers is enough and also helpful if on a budget. I liked the images of glossy tubs on his web site and I wanted my tub to look like that so I requested that he proceed with the refinishing. The end result is excellent and the old tub looks like a new glossy tub from a show room. Gary's web site very precisely explains which common cleaning products to avoid so as not to damage or weaken the finish ... very informative. This was worth doing as replacing the tub would have many times the cost of refinishing. I highly recommend Gary and his bath tub refinishing process to anyone who is less than happy with their current tub's color or lack of shine ... absolutely a 5 Star job.

Gary is an artist! He was polite, fast, honest, and did a truly beautiful job repairing the areas of our bathtub where duct tape had pulled off the finish. Would hire again or recommend in a heartbeat.

Gary is awesome!! Enough said!! He was extremely prompt on arrival, very upfront with what to expect and what not to expect and overall a great contractor. We had two tubs for a rental unit done. One was completely resurfaced, and the other was seriously cleaned and re-caulked. Honestly, a great job on both tubs.

Fantastic result. Gary (the owner) came out himself and explained all of our options. Recommended the etch treatment to eliminate slips (I almost broke my neck the week before) and the result was terrific. I couldn't detect any difference in the finish, but no more slips! Great price, great service, would highly recommend for excellent advice and also saving us a bunch of money on a new tub!

Having just moved into a house with a grimy bathtub, Gary saved us the expense of having to install an entirely new tub. He refinished the tub within a couple of hours. He was very clean and tidy while working and very pleasant to work with.

I called Gary on Saturday morning. He answered the phone himself and when I asked him how he intended to fix the damaged area of our tub, he took the time to explain each detail of the retoration process which consisted of seven separate steps. He asked me to take some photos of the tub and damaged area so he would be sure to have the correct color repair material so as not to waste our time. Gary came to our housethis morning and spent about one and one half hours doing the repair. Gary did a very nice job and unless you look hard at the spot you would not know that it had been repaired. Gary cleaned up the area after he was through repairing the tub. We had a very good experience with Gary and I would highly recommend Bathroom Rx to anyone needing this type of work done.
