Gary from Bathtub Rx is a true professional. I received a return call within the hour and after reviewing a few photographs of my tub, I was quoted a very reasonable price for the work. He followed up with clear instructions about what was needed on the day of the work. On the big day, Gary arrived on time and began to prepare the tub for re-surfacing. (My tub had been re-surfaced 25+ years ago by a previous owner and at this point much of the "paint" had chipped away. It looked terrible.) Gary's expert and very thorough prep work revealed an original porcelain tub that was actually in good shape. It is at this point where Gary's professionalism and integrity shone through. Instead of continuing the job as originally planned, Gary gave me the option of leaving the old porcelain tub in its natural state at half the cost of the original quote. How nice is that!! He easily could have continued the job as planned, collected the full fee, and we would never have guessed that there was a much better option. I can recommend Bathtubrx without reservation. Just a great experience from beginning to end. I love my "NEW/OLD" porcelain tub! Thank you, Gary.

This is the 2nd time I have hired Gary from Bathtub Rx. I call him a magician. He first repaired a large chip from an old bathtub with paint that was difficult to match. He is just as talented as an artist as he is as a repairman because he mixed paint colors to make a perfect match! I then asked him to come back and repair a porcelain sink with spider like cracks throughout the basin. I was told repeatedly it was unfixable and Gary came and sprayed just the basin to cover the unsightly cracks. I cannot recommend him enough. This is a specialized craft with few people who have the skills to repair porcelain in a way that it is undetectable, He is really talented! Andrea Hunt Fairfield CT

Excellent experience. I called to schedule a refinishing of my tub. Gary explained that he professionally cleans the tub first (required for a proper refinishing) then I can decide if I’m happy with just the cleaned tub or if I want him to continue to the refinishing. He quoted prices for cleaning only and cleaning with refinishing up front. Turns out a cleaning is all that was needed!! Kudos to Gary for not doing an unnecessary refinishing. Couldn’t be happier! Highly recommend.

excellent excellent job of retouching. The original resurfacing, 6 years ago, has help up beautifully. The retouching consisted of a few pin holes and one 1.4" scratch.

He carefully explained all of our options and we chose the professional cleaning with a slip resistant glue down mat. This also saved us money.

Gary did an impeccable job. He explained the process in detail beforehand, emphasizing that the after-care would be extremely important. The bathtub looked like brand new, when he was done with it. The bathroom itself was left spotless and he was punctual, professional and pleasant to deal with. The day following the repair, he followed up with with a reminder sheet of the cleaners to use, to avoid, reminders on how to properly maintain the finish etc. I would absolutely recommend him again.

The appointment was set up and Gary, the owner, arrived on time. He told us exactly what he would do and showed us pictures to support his procedure. The result is we now have a bath tub that looks like new. We had the option of cleaning and refinishing or a reglazing. We opted for the cleaning/refinishing. The service provider arrived on time. Went to work setting up his supplies. Taped off much of the floor and area in order to prevent any accidents. Completed one tub, then worked on the other. They both look beautiful. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to my friends
