Steve was in constant contact with me during the process. Gave immediate attention to emergency issues (sewer blockage) provided a temporary emergency fix until permits, etc. could be obtained for the necessary repair. As the job site was on a very busy street, Steve took care of every detail of the repair from the mandatory inspections and hiring of local police to direct traffic, to the dig, debris removal and blacktop/fill-in all quickly, on time and on budget. Job was completed to my satisfaction and I appreciated the honest communication and expedited service. All workers were highly professional and well qualified. I had two other bids (Rotor Router - $1,500 more expensive estimate and no return phone calls) and a local plumber which would "underbid any other offer" which I felt was desperate and frankly not qualified for the scope of this work. Steve and his team were sensitive to issues of the home owner (my mother) who has Alzheimer's disease and was very patient and respectful of her, which was priceless to me. Though this was a very costly repair, I believe in and trust Atomic Rooter, Inc. and would recommend and will continue to use them in the future and it was money well spent. Called during the afternoon and go them to come out that evening. They quickly figured out the problem and came the next day to repair. Did a first rate job and were super responsive--much faster than two other companies I called in the Fairfield area. They were expensive but in an emergency they came through.

Just after lunchtime on a Friday afternoon, I noticed a leak underneath my kitchen sink and called Atomic Rooter, which I found on Angie's List. My phone call was returned within minutes. Within two hours the plumber arrived and was able to fix the problem. Everything he needed was on the truck. He was very fast, friendly and professional. I will definitely use this company again.

I had been having a problem with my sewer pipes so they came out and put a camera down to see what the problem was. It was largely a positive experience. There were two guys who explained everything to me and were very upfront about what the costs would be. They did the job efficiently and pretty much guaranteed their work for a reasonable length of time. They gave me additional tips on what I should be doing; which I had not asked for. It was not cheap, but I think it was okay. I went to this company because the previous company I used did the job twice in the past and after a couple of months it did not work anymore and he was not willing to guarantee the work. The men from Atomic Rooter were pretty knowledgeable and their responsiveness was excellent; they were here in a very short period of time and they were very helpful.

Immediate response and the workers were very honest and professional. Price was a little expensive, but for the work on a Saturday of a holiday weekend was well worth it.

Great service. Immediate response to our call - same day as request. Technician was extremely thorough in diagnosing cause of stoppage and identified for us irregular piping that would cause reoccurence. He spent several hours with us - not only clearing the stoppage - but working to identify cause and recommend preventive care. The company however, did not accept the Angie's list 10% coupon. Don't recall reason other than it was Company decision.

They were excellent to work with it. The pricing was also reasonable and they found a solution to the problem quickly. I haven't had any problems since then.

Had a clog in the line to our septic tank. Called Atomic Rooter around 8:30 AM on a Friday and provided my info. Got a call back in about 3 minutes and said they'd be out by 10. Got here right on time, took a quick look around, got the tools, and had everything done in about 30 minutes.

Overall, it was a great experience. We called them on a Tuesday afternoon and they came to our house within 2 hours of our call. They gave us a time range of between 2:30 and 5:30 and were at our house by 2:35 (I've never had a service provider be so punctual!). They listened to our concerns, snaked the drain, and discussed with us that there was likely a bath toy or other foreign object in the piping. They worked with us to set up a time that worked with our schedule (and they were very flexible when we called them last minute to change the time). On their second visit they were again very punctual, calling beforehand to ensure that we were home. They fixed the pipes, removed the foreign object (which turned out to be a broken piece from the lever that opens and closes the drain). Because of what they found, they also replaced the escutcheon (for free!!).

Very quick turnaround. Calls are returned within a few minutes and a serviceman was at the house a few hours after the initial call was placed. I was very happy with the work performed, and the serviceman was professional and kept the work area clean. Pricing was my only issue.

Based on Angie's List reviews, I called Atomic Rooter. They called back in less than a minute! I had planned to ask them to come the next day as I had to go to work in a couple hours but when they said they'd have someone out within the hour, I grabbed the opportunity. Jose showed up in 45 minutes. He listened carefully to everything I had to say, even though I'm sure some of it was superfluous and then explained exactly what he needed to do and what it would cost and what any possible additional costs might be. He tried snaking and got not much so he put the bigger blade on but was not able to snake it all the way to the city sewer line so he had to attach another snake line. Eventually he managed to clear the pipe all the way to the street. This all sounds very easy but watching him working with the snake, I can tell you, it's a lot of hard work. I was very pleased with the thorough explanation I received throughout the process and Jose's patience as he tried to be sure I understood everything. He made recommendations and again, thorough explanations of why he made those recommendations. Having been through so many plumbing issues in the last 2 years, I know I was charged the going rate and nothing more (and my Angie's List coupon was happily honored) but I'm especially happy with how thorough the job was and how professional.

Don't be afraid to leave a message with the call service. The plumber REALLY does call within 5 minutes. Randy was punctual and very professional. I have pets and he was careful and considerate in making sure the cats did not get outside. Whenever he needed access to the house, he rang the bell so that I knew he was coming in. My washer, shower and toilet were backing up into my basement. Before starting the actual work, Randy assessed the job and gave me a verbal quote, including the 10% Angie's List customer discount. Then he snaked the main sewer line from the outside clean-out to the street and pulled out an entire garbage bag full of heavy tree roots. The cap on the clean-out was not the proper size and he replaced it. How do I know? I stood there and watched as Randy explained the cap issue. The entire job, including assessing where the clog was, took Randy 2 hours and that is with the clean up, too. He recommended an annual service so that I don't have to deal with a complete root clog, again. I have had this service done by other competitors and was not happy with the service or the time involved. Thank you, Randy from Atomic Rooter. You have a customer for life!!!

Excellent service. I called and spoke to the service. I received callback within 5 minutes and Randy arrived at my door within 20 minutes. It took him 3 tries to snake the clog as it was very deep in the line and very stubborn. He was very polite, professional and patient. I was very impressed and will definitely use again. It's hard to find a good plumber locally, so this is a keeper!

We called earlier in the day and they promptly responded. Brian came to our house within 6 hours and was very professional, curteous and thorough. He went through a set of exercises to determine the exact cause, only made a hole in the drywall (behind the shower) when absolutely necessary and then immediately identified the problem. Once he figured out what was wrong he went in and fixed it and made sure there were no other problems that could arise. I would strongly recommend them.
