Description of Work: Sold us tile flooring for kitchen, hallway, and bathroom. Subcontracted the staff to remove old material and install new material. Estimate was for 3-4 days and actual was 7 days. The installers were quite good, just not enough of them and could have been more timely. Also, an employee (young) from Floors Now showed up on day 2 and proceeded to fairly harshly criticize the installers (with me listening in which I thought was pretty unprofessional). I don't know if he was right or wrong in his criticism, but I thought it should have been done more discreetly.

Description of Work: Refinished wood flooring and stairs. There were many staples that they did not try to pull out but just sanded over. Then when they pulled them out the flooring was heavily gouged. He said there was an unusual amount of staples, quick I believe but felt it should have been addressed differently. He did go back promptly a few times to work on the issue. | |Also replaced carpeting. Great job.

Description of Work: Floors Now installed a new floor in our unheated porch. It has been a challenge to get the right flooring material as this room heats up in the summer and is frigid in winter. Floors Now came up with a newer material made to withstand those wild fluctuations in temperatures. Their installers did the job in 3 hours - they were efficient, professional, courteous and clean. |We had only one issue with a billing question - but this, too was handled quickly and professionally. I would recommend them for flooring needs.

+ 0 moreI had a few interactions with them, but I never got the wood and they did not install anything. They seemed to have a good product. They seemed to have a decent price as far as the wood itself, but they also seemed expensive as far as the installation went. The estimate was for $3400. They were very knowledgeable about their products and they have different products.
Description of Work: I contacted Floors Now! to get an estimate for real wood flooring. The work also included installing two doors and doing a molding.

+ -1 moreI found Floors Now! at the home show in March 2010. I liked the vinyl flooring products they had - I had initially only wanted my kitchen and half bath done, but one of the patterns was perfect to replace the carpet in the dining room, so added that in, too. They came out and took measurements, then gave me a written detailed quote. The installer they sent out was fabulous. They took out the dining room carpet, the toilet, moved the stove and refrigerator, and installed the underlayment in all rooms on day one. It was funny to come home to my toilet being on the back deck! But I was happy they did that vs just cut around it. They did the actual new vinyl installation on day two. We have a prep area in the kitchen against the wall that has pipes beneath it and wood legs - if I had to do it myself, it would be a nightmare to cut the vinyl to fit around that. It was no problem for these pros. They took the baseboards off at the start and put them back on after without any damage to the walls or the trim. The floors look BEAUTIFUL and are so easy to keep clean. The only thing constructive I would have to say is that I wasn't given a color choice for the cove base under the cabinets. My kitchen had not had that to start with and I didn't even realize they would put that in. When they did, they used a neutral color that matched the floor well, but if I had been given a choice in advance, I would have chosen black. Easy enough for me to switch out in the future. All in all, Floors Now! lived up to their name - they were super efficient and the job was done FAST. It was also done with great care and attention to detail. It's over 6 months later and the vinyl floors they put in are just wonderful. I have to redo the carpet in the rest of the house in the future and will be calling on Floors Now! for that job also.
