2 Young Studs Moving - Mover in New Haven

Very efficient and quick to refund my deposit. My move was delayed for an undetermined time but will surely reschedule with this company in the future.

From the beginning to the end services were extraordinary. Pricing and services were clearly explained. They arrived promptly and went right to work. Every request was answered with "yes sir" and the tasks we performed quickly and with a smile (on an extremely hot day). THESE GUYS MADE MOVING EASY! I will definitely use them again!

I am incredibly happy with 2 Young Studs Moving. The 2 crew members arrived 5 minutes before the scheduled time and were very professional. It was by no means an easy move (there were no elevators in either the building I was moving from or the building I was moving into), but the 2 movers had a very upbeat attitude and were clearly hard-working. I highly recommend this company!

The overall experience was okay. They did their job. They were honest. They were late for their job but it’s no big deal. They were not well prepared for the job. When they came, they did not have tools with them like the cording. Fortunately I have one so it was not an issue for me. But if I don’t have one, I would feel bad.

Movers came on time with plenty of supplies (we packed ourselves and moved all breakable in advance, so can't comment on that). Everything went well, though I wish the truck had been larger. This could be my fault though for underreporting the amount of things we had. One of the movers had to spend most of his time arranging things in the truck, so it took maybe an hour longer than it should have. Basically the price is very good but not the most efficient because of the small truck. Might not be good for larger moves -- unless they get larger trucks. I would use again though.

This is a review i owed them from work done a while ago , maybe even back around Sept of 2013 but they did a great job and i didn't want their good work to go unreviewed . They moved a 1 BR apartment furniture from one rental building on Edwards St to another rental building ~ 3 miles away in New Haven. They did Excellent Work ... the 2 young men showed up on time with their truck all ready . They worked fast ,professionally, carefully and cleanly and all went well ... I would definitely use them again. OK.. its tough for a guy landlord to hire a company called 2 young studs ... but once you get past their name , they really did do a great job :-) Thx .

Amazing experience. It's so refreshing to have a service provider who actually lives up to their reputation. From the moment they arrived Jeremy and Greg carted our furniture, our boxes and anything else we asked them for 2 hours. They were prompt, they were extremely friendly and polite, they were amazing. Jeremy repacked our pod into which we had tried to pack some items, then went about packing the rest of it while Greg carted our stuff from the house. Once done, they moved some heavy items in the house for us, they took apart a table, moved it to another room and put it together again (Jeremy had all his own tools for this), they then re-attached the legs to another table and placed it where we told them. They also moved items up from the basement as well as down to the basement. There was nothing they wouldn't, couldn't do! And all in the time allotted. Take my advice and if you need something moved hire these guys. Thanks for a job well done. When we sell the house and do our last packing, you can be sure that I will be calling them again.

I was helping a family from my church on budget for moving. recommended a moving service instead of asking people a favor, organizing time on other people's term, renting a truck, driving hazard, buying a food for the people, and not to mention returning the favor later. The family is consisted of a father, a mother, a grandmother, 2 very young girls, and 2yr old baby. They are in very tough situation right now and they can't afford to take days off from a little business they have. They also have been moving a lot and always ended up spending lots of money with HUGE physical and mental stress. The family was afraid that this kind of service requires lots of money, but GOD gave me a message with confidence that I will find a good company for them. I joined this website and I found the 2 Young Studs Moving®. They had a good price already but It was a BIG YES for me when I saw a huge 20% discount for this website's members. The family was very happy and satisfied with the price and the professionalism the moving staff provided, and they didn't go through the all the usual moving hassle they used to deal with, and saved some money also. I talked to Chris and I asked him again and again and again about any hidden fee, but there was none. The price was very straight forward!!!! He also answered all the question and concerns that I had. I will actually put this company's info on my church's Bulletin board because I know so many people at my church are in need for moving helps and I know they will be so happy with this company. We had moved 4 months before this and felt that the previous mover (not this one) ripped us off. They quoted us one price and by time we got the final bill, it was about 40% more. For this company, we were quoted an hourly rate and received an Angie's List discount. We basically knew what we would be paying by the hours we needed the movers.. The service was very good and reasonable for all the work the two young men did. I would use this mover again.

These guys are great! They were actually early for their appointment, which is so refreshing. Prior to starting the job, they surveyed the work that needed to be done to ensure that the best possible solution was found for moving an awkward piece of furniture through, and up, a narrow staircase. The piece was moved, and relocated, pristinely. Afterwards, they ensured that they cleaned up (not much to do) and left everything in order. I'd rehire these guys in a second.

Compared to other moving companies these guys were excellent. They were easy to schedule, responsive, and stayed late to move additional items. They were also less expensive than some other companies. I would use them again.

We picked them because they were less expensive than other options. The guy that organized the move and the movers themselves were both nice. They did break some of our stuff on both occasions. I brought that to their attention, however they don't offer to insure your items so they couldn't cover the cost of replacement.

We called on Wednesday to schedule moving two big pieces of furniture from one house to another. We also had them move a washer and dryer, and a freezer into the garage from the basement. The furniture was delivered 18 miles away to our home, where it was carefully placed after the furniture it replaced was removed. The removed furniture was then taken to Goodwill (another drive) where we donated it. There was never any hesitation to undertake all these "special' requests, and at all times they were very professional. We were scheduled for 1pm, but they actually called and were going to arrive early which worked great for us. The worked quickly, drove quickly, and got a lot done in the two hour minimum.

The movers were precisely on time, courteous, professional, and took great care with all of our furniture and possessions. Our condo was on the third floor, so it was not the easiest move, but the "Young Studs" moved quickly and safely, and took great care packing our items into the truck to ensure their safe arrival at our new home. We had some trouble with the couches and a very narrow doorway, and ended up with minimal damage on our walls, but when I say they took every possible avenue to prevent that from happening, they truly did. Only after my blessing did they do what they had to do to remove the furniture from the home. I just finished unpacking the last box and not one item was damaged in any way, shape, or form. No visible nicks or scratches are visible on our furniture. After unloading the last boxes from the truck, the movers helped set up our two bed frames and mattresses, and even help set up our large television. I would highly recommend this moving company for those folks moving out of a small apartment or condo.

They first time they packed all my things and moved my things into storage. The second time they moved my things from storage to my new home. They did a fabulous job. They worked so hard, never complained and were terrific to work with. They have great follow up and make sure I am happy and satisfied. I always recommend them to others.

They did a great job! They were very careful with my things and did not break anything. They were very friendly and polite. It was pouring the day they did the work, they took it all in stride. They waited for the rain to pass and charged me reasonably for the extra time they had to wait. They were very good about putting things where I had marked in my new condo. They were honest and had reasonable prices. They had been recommended to me from a friend who had two good experiences with them. They went above and beyond by taking down the wood work on the narrow door ways in order to get my sofa bed out and put the wood work back up perfectly so my landlord didn't mind.

They were really good. All the employees are very friendly. They worked hard and late into the day. They moved everything very quietly and were neat. They were concerned about my stuff. I was happy with the services. I used them prior to store my things after the hurricane. I really trust their services and will use them again once I can move back to my house.

This was the worst moving company - if you can call it a company - 2 young studs should be called 2 'duds' they arrived late they brought no tools, which delayed the move it took 3 hours move out a one bedroom apt (when all boxes had been packed by the consumer/ customer, not the mover, ahead of time) then another 3 hours to move into another one bedroom apt they dented my apt wall, broke an end of my new headboard, broke the glass frame of one of my pictures they didn't want to put together the furniture they disassembled and then grumbled when they were asked to they did not wrap or take any standard care with the furniture the owner 'chris' raised his voice to the women consumers they were cursory, lazy and unprofessional they haphazardly placed boxes they booked another job to coincide with this one and tried to run out before finishing the job - this was lead by the head guy 'chris' they requested gratuity!!! no one, no customer should have had to go through this this mover will be reported negatively to the better business bureau please heed the warning and avoid this so-called mover
