"Simply put, Bill builds from the heart. We had a major renovation that entailed reconfiguring the entire 2nd floor with the addition of a bed and bathroom. We also had our 1st floor reconfigured with a wall removal and a master ensuite established. With a project of this size there are challenges and Bill and his team worked as professionals through each one. The quality of build that Bill and his team establishes is top notched and stands with the best in the business, We did have some hurdles with finishing details, however, with continued communication with Bill and some realignment, the project came out better than our expectations. We're very happy with our overall results."

"My wife and I hired James to completely re-do our original 1960s kitchen and he did not disappoint! From our initial meeting with him we could tell we were in good and capable hands. He has a great attention to detail and isn't above redoing and fine tuning something if he feels it can look better. He is extremely friendly and easy to work with as was every worker he brought into our home. He was able to address any problems that came up in creative and effective ways and was very open to changes during the process without pushing the timeline. Our project was a complete gut job spanning the kitchen, den, dining room and entry way, including the removal of 3 walls and installation of a new support beam and the entire project came out better than we ever imagined and has completely changed our home for the better. We are extremely happy to have found James for our kitchen and already plan to have him back to redo our bathrooms in the future. We highly recommend JEJ!"

"I wish I could give zero stars. We hired Douglas for a kitchen remodel which involved installing a kitchen island, pantry, and all the related plumbing and electrical work. The communication between Douglas and his carpenter was terrible. We submitted sketches and agreed upon the design for the cabinets which were meant to be overlaid. When the island arrived, the cabinets were inset which did not match the rest of the kitchen. In addition, the kitchen island has split and cracked at more than half of the joints. The pantry cabinet has split and areas of unpainted MDF are showing. We have needed to paint and touch up many of these spots. Regarding the plumbing, we have had multiple significant leaks from piping and tubing that the team installed. Water has leaked even through the floor and into the basement. Upon review from other plumbers, all have confirmed the parts used were cheap and of low quality, and the workmanship was subpar. After a major leak in the middle of the night, we reached out to Douglas and respectfully voiced our issues and complaints. He ignored us for a full month, and then instead of simply stopping by to take a look at the problems (which would have been the first major step to alleviating our frustrations), he responded in a despicable manner. He even included the following quote from his lawyer, He laughed saying that perhaps you lost your job (due to the CoronaVirus) and were probably scrounging for any money you could scrape up. Who would want to work with someone like this?"
