Well. Mark visited first to see what our plumbing issues were. Our kitchen sink wasn't draining well, a bathroom sink was draining slowly and we had a toilet that didn't flush well and was loosely attached to the floor, rocking slightly. Mark pointed out a garbage disposal that was failing and causing the sink drainage issues. He suggested a new disposal and a good brand, which I confirmed through Consumer Reports. We bought that and he returned to install it. At the same time, he fixed the bathroom sink with a new pop-up stopper and fixed the toilet flush with a new flapper and he tightened the toilet's attachment to the floor. He was quick, courteous and on time -- and everything works great.

It took us a week or two to coordinate a day for Mark to do the work. Once scheduled, Mark came the day that we planned for the work. He completed the work in an hour less than estimated and he reduced the amount he charged for the work accordingly. The work was done professionally and everything is working great.

Since the sinks were special order and had minor defects, it took a while for the entire project to be completed. One sink leaked slightly, Mark arrived the next day to fix the problem. All in all, everything went very well.

He came after a distress call due to a leaky pipe, and no shutoff valve resulting in no water. It was clear that a shutoff valve needed to be installed, but he did not return my phone call when I requested a quote for installing the shutoff valve.

My husband found Mark from Angieslist because of his very good feedback records. We are very happy with Mark's job. He was very professional and the price was competitive. Mark replaced our old leaking faucet with a new one we supplied. Three new shut valves were installed. There was also a device that I didn't know exactly what it was but apparently we wouldn't need at all. Mark removed it. This gave us more space under the sink. At the end, Mark also advised us to keep the record of the new faucet and what to do if leaking is found. We would definitely use him again in the future and recommend him to others.

Mr. Stawski arrived promptly and was very easy to work with. When he arrived the toilet issue had vanished and try as he might he could not make it re-occur. He said he didn't feel it was right to replace anything at that time since it appeared to be working properly, and it was. He offered that he would be in the area two days later and if the issue occurred again to call and he would come and replace the parts. As it turned out.. it did happen again and he promptly returned and replaced the parts. We will definitely use him again, he was honest, easy to work with, and very fair regarding pricing and also very accommodating with the appointment. He drove from Meriden to West Simsbury for the first visit because we were having family in the following day.

My water heater started leaking badly enough that it was time for a replacement. I placed 6 emails/voicemails with different plumbers asking for quotes, Mr. Stawski responded the most quickly, came out to my house to check out the situation, and quoted me an exact price. His quote was competitive and I gave him the job. He showed up right on our agreed-upon time, hauled the old 75 gallon water heater out of the basement, and installed the new 50 gallon one. Two old gate valves were replaced with new ball valves. The work was done quickly and neatly. Great job, quick, efficient, great price. I will use Stawski plumbing again.

Called Mark to look at Water Tank that was not working. He came the same morning and determined that the burner was defective. He said that the tank was six years old and had a ten year warranty and I would probably be buying trouble if he just replaced the burner. He said he would try to have the tank replaced order the manufacturers warranty. I purchased the tank in 2008 from a local store whom I came to dislike and would not call them for service. Mark negotiated with the store and even brought a representative from the store to my house to verify his findings.. He convinced the guy and came back a little later with a new tank. He installed the new tank and took my old one away . He said he would come back the next morning and patch the hole he had to make in my chimney for the new tank's vent stack. He came back as promised and patched the hole. He went out of his way for me with the store I bought the tank from for which I was truly grateful.. I can't tell you what a great guy Mark is. He is, by far, the best tradesman I have dealt with in the forty one years I have owned my home. He charged me only for his time which was very reasonable. This is the second time I have used Mark and have found him to be a meticulous and talented plumber. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone

Tried to fix existing fixture as requested but given its age and condition it was agreed that replacing it was a better option. New one works perfectly. Very polite, courteous and neat.

In late january we can't get our heat up to temp we are cold but the whole state is experiencing arctic chill people have pipes freezing all over the place. I'll never get a plumber with this demand what the heck I'll try Angies list looked local and found Stawski plumbing and took a chance called got Mark he was very busy but responded quickly to my message showed up on time figured out what the problem was got the parts right away and made the proper repairs he checked all the radiators before he left. i have some other plumbing issues pending and will call Mark (Stawski plumbing) when i'm ready to have it taken care of in the Spring.

I called on a Wed morning and he called me back that night. I scheduled an appointment for that Saturday morning. He showed up that morning and made the repairs to my toilet. He was very professional, polite and cleaned up. He also gave me advise on how to avoid this problem occurring again.

I called Mark on Saturday. He promptly called me back in 10-15 minutes, asked for all the details and provided me work estimates. His estimates were comparable with other quotes I received from few other plumbing service companies. Due to very positive reviews on Mark, I went ahead with him. He scheduled a time for Monday, came with tools and new water heater. He promptly finished the work (within 2 hours), answered all my questions and explained me warranty information and gave me few maintenance tips.

Mark was great! He was very professional and the work was done quickly and at a good price. We will definitely hire him again!

Mr. Stawski was unfailing professional from his original visit to offer an estimate to clean up after the work was done. He installed the larger water heater in the small space allotted in my condo. Nearly 10 months have elapsed since the water heater was installed and I have had no problems.

He drilled thru the concrete, dug the hole inserted bucket & pump, drilled hole thru the sill for the pipe to carry water from basement away from the house.

He suggested the installation of a whole house filter to reduce the lime and scale which more than likely caused the failure of the storage tank. We took his advice and feel confident that our appliances will last longer because of it.

I have used Mark before and have been extremely pleased with his work. I had made arrangements for Mark to come out for the faucet this morning. Last night, I realized that one heat zone in my house wasn't working. He had no problem checking and resolving the problem for me, even though it was a last minute add on. I would recommend Mark without hesitation. I have learned that it is hard to get good service providers, but he is one of the best.

Called Mark Stawski and a few others on a Sunday morning when my water heater had gone out the night before. Mark was quick to respond, quick to understand it, and also to provide pricing and timing. In my panic, I made the job 'first come, first serve' and another plumber was able to come a little earlier on Monday morning than Mark, at the same expense (and was also very responsive). Anyway, Mark was great to work with on this, and I would not hesitate in the future to call him - he takes his work seriously and is very conscientious. He is a professional.

Mark did a wonderful job. He was neat, and extremely competent. He came on time and installed the toilet and removed the old one within an hour. Mark is very personable and down to earth. I would call him any time I had need of a plumber and would strongly recommend him to any one.

Mark responded to call immediately, came to appointment on time, ready to work. Our original call to him was to only install a new Toto toilet in the lavatory replacing old unit. He did that, removed the old toilet in a very quick fashion. We were just finishing our lavatory remodel (painting, new molding, etc.) and he was very meticulous not to do any damage. He was the first plumber in the 37 years we have lived here that did not do any damage to the home while making his repairs. He is neat, courteous and efficient. He wears a t-shirt with Stawski Plumbing on arrival so you know who you are dealing with. Since we were so pleased with the toilet installation, we asked him to do the other small repairs to the other bathroom. He inspected the project, told us what parts would be required and returned on Saturday of Labor Day Weekend to do the work. Again, he was efficient, neat and prompt. His pricing is very reasonable. We would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Was really enjoying the company and then he started to go "dark" on me and finally never returned calls for service. Unfortunately, I had to switch to another plumber.

Mark was extremely thorough and helpful. He is a perfectionist, and everything went very smoothly.
