Kelly and her team did a fantastic job! She had to use 2 coats of primer to cover up the dark walls and then 2 coats of the tan paint we had chosen. The work was very tedious and time-consuming because of the grooves and age of the bead board and the other imperfections that come along with a house that old. We have a 1/2 bath off of the laundry room and she took the door off the hinges to paint it (we had just refinished the floors). We were very impressed with the workmanship and the communication we had with her. She is a perfectionist who pays attention to details! The job was scheduled/charged for two days, but she came a third day at no cost to put the final touches on and make sure that everything was to her expectations. On one occasion she was running a little late (had to stop by another work site), but notified us in a timely manner of the situation. We would definitely hire her again--in fact we are in the process of getting an estimate on another area of the house that needs painting.

I am extremely pleased with the finished product.

I was renting a house in Wolcott, CT, and it turned out to require extensive repairs and cleaning, which the landlord offered to deduct from the rent if I had the work performed myself. It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was wonderful and I was very satisfied. The work was excellent and I would hire her anytime.

The quote Kelly gave was really too high. It took a while for her to get back to me and she was late for our appointment at my house. But I found her to be really nice and easy-going. Because of this, it's unfortunately that her quote came back so prohibitively high. She said she tries to keep her prices as low as possible but I found someone else to do the work for much cheaper.

Everything went perfectly. She performed all assigned tasks in a efficient manner, she didn't waste a minute going from one task to another. We plan to hire her again in the near future.

She was very responsive through email and was very accommodating with my schedule. I would have her come again for other jobs in my home.

I signed up for this service during the promotion period, but have not heard from this company to schedule service. Thes is a great disappointment to me about the company, and Angies List.

It took them more than a week to get back to me,to tell me that they were booking into January. I had no idea that I would have to wait so long and had to hire an independent handyman. I will use them, as I think it is still a good deal and they might be very good. It is just discouraging to not hear back and then to find that can't be used for necessary job that prompted the purchase.

Easy to deal with and friendly.

In 8 weeks, they only worked 7 full days. What little work they did, was done moderately well, but our kitchen has been under construction for two months. Overall, her communication skills were inconsistent and unprofessional. On several occasions, we tried to reach her by phone to discuss the schedule and never received a call back. Instead she only communicated by non-committal emails and text messages. She committed to working on several occasions and did not show up and did not follow the schedule she had committed to. When we contacted her, she was quick to offer excuses and quick to make promises to finish the work, but then never followed through. As of 10/28, Winter is closing in and the exterior of the house has yet to be painted, the window has yet to be installed and the remodel work on the interior of the kitchen has not been completed. We had no choice but to cut our losses and hire a new contractor to finish the work. We should have terminated our working relationship with her 4 weeks earlier than we did, but we personally liked her and wanted to give her the opportunity to finish the work. If she had worked consistently on the project and had met her deadlines, we would have completed the project with her. In the end, we had no faith that she had any intention to complete the project and did not trust her to meet her committments.

Hurricane Sandy hit us hard and Kelly and her crew were able to come out and lend a hand. Helped us with demolition of the lower level of our home and removal of all the debris from our house as well as all the washed up debris from the neighbors. We paid $300 to cover mostly materials and they volunteered their labor. The young women were such a pleasure and helped keep us positive during such a rough time. I wish they were located in our area, I would hire them for all our home improvement projects. I would recommend Lady House Doctors to anyone looking for quality work from people who truly care about what they are doing and about getting the job done right.

Lady House Doctors were very professional, very helpful, and worked diligently to resolve any issues that cropped up. They worked with me to maintain all the work within my budget and on schedule. They kept me abreast of all the work being done on the house and any changes to schedule. They were very professional and courteous at all time, I highly recommend them.
