Tom arrived on time, diagnosed the problem quickly, and had replaced the gears and tested the door within half an hour. He was courteous, answering any questions I had ,as well as explaining the work done. Tom provided excellent service, honored the 5% coupon, and I would not hesitate to use him again in the future.

Slight delay because of color choice. But, knew that upfront. Door installed. Great job!

Arrival was on time, job execution was perfect. Tom weighed the door, selected proper springs, replaced all cables, and demonstrated how the door was balanced. He also noticed the drive chain was a little loose, and tightened it up. In my opinion, he was highly experienced, very friendly, professional and courteous. This is the type of businessman I enjoy having work on my house, and I would definitely use him again and highly recommend him to anyone.

He came right on time, diagnosed the problem within 10 minutes, saying it was the sensors. As a complete solution, he recommended replacement of the entire unit. However, as the door is not used on a daily basis, and would still go up and down with the remote, he actually suggested that replacement of the entire unit wasn't necessary. That's honesty for you! When the time comes that we decide to go ahead, we will replace the unit and will definitely call upon him to do the work!

He arrive on time, installed the key and then told me what else the key pad could . I asked if he would program the key to do the extra doors and he said sure no charge. Then he realized some thing was wrong with two other garage doors and them form nothing. Can't get better than that !

Very quick and focused work. Came after hours to accommodate our schedule. Automatic garage door was broken in a house we recently moved into. Tried to repair the old door, but replacing the motherboard was almost as costly as a new door with warranty. Stayed late to get the job done.

Superb: Tom obviously knows his stuff. Before he came, he assured me that if he came out and saw that the opener wasn't fixable, he wouldn't charge me anything for the visit. He was able to repair it and all's good.

I am an absentee landlord that needed a garage door installed. Not being in the area I am often skeptical when I arrange services. I called Tom and he quoted a fair price that was consistent with the market. Tom arranged a time with my tenants, installed the door, then let me know it was done. Simple. He did exactly as he said he would. He is extremely professional. I highly recommend Tom.

Two overhead garage doors were not operating smoothly. I e-mailed Tom through and he called me back within minutes and we agreed a time for him to visit. Tom arrived promptly at the agreed time and inspected the doors and the operating mechanism and identified a few problems (eg sensor not working, pulleys worn out and channels binding). Once we had agreed to proceed he replaced a sensor and two pullies and made some adjustments to the channels. The total time spent was less than an hour and the total cost was about $120. The doors now work perfectly. He was professional and courteous.

I am quite happy. I have not had any problems with the door. He came on a saturday, it was raining. My husband and I had put up a canopy to the front of the garage so that He wouldn't get wet. He was very amused and pleased that we had thought to do that. His wife was with him and they were both very personable. I would recommend him to any and all who asks about his work and his prices. I had received 3 estimates and his was the most reasonable for the amount work that was required.

Tom was prompt and responsive and came back to readjust the door. I am completely satisfied.

Tom was very professional and gave a very competitive estimate to fix the old door, and did not push me toward replacing the door. I did end up deciding to replace the door in the end, and actually found Tom's quote to be somewhat higher than the other quotes. However, prior to making my decision, Tom called me with an alternative. He had just removed a 16' door from a prior job that was still in excellent condition (prior owner was remodeling garage into work space and wanted smaller opening). After allowing me to inspect the door, we agreed on a much reduced price for the job and two days later the job was done. Tom worked efficiently, did a great job, and cleaned up neatly afterward. The fact that he thought to call me with a third option showed me that he truly listened to my needs and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. Regarding his original quote on a new door - after finishing the job, Tom inquired as to which doors the other contractors were selling so that he could "make sure he remains competitive." He did feel like the product he usually sells is superior to those that were quoted as less expensive, but I'm sure if you wanted to save some money he would definitely be open to ordering from a different manufacturer.

My whole experience with Tom has been great from start to finish. He returned my phone calls quickly and was clear about the services he provided and what the costs would be. Today he showed up very promptly and completed all the work quickly and to a high standard. I would have no hesitation in using Tom again or recommending him to others.
