Garage door creaked and had a hitch about one foot off the ground when closing. Tom tuned up door which cured creak but hitch remained. Tom quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced two guide brackets at cost. Problem solved, door works great. Tom knows his trade, is punctual and answers all questions in a professional manner.

Replaced ancient garage door opener, re-aligned rails, programmed the remote, and explained how everything works.

I placed the order online on Sunday. Tom contacted me on Monday and provided the requested service on Tuesday afternoon. He was able to work with my schedule. The door has raised and lowered effortlessly since services.

He was able to use all the parts/equipment already installed in my garage door system, and did not bill me for anything that I did not need. He was at the house working on the doors for about one hour, and that's what he charged me for (one hour of labor). I called Ace expecting to schedule a repair visit for my malfunctioning garage door opener. Ace listened carefully to my description of the problems, and suggested some simple do-it-yourself checks, involving removing the opener casing and observing the internal mechanism in action. In particular, a metal indicator moves between two contacts, one for all-the-way-up and the other for all-the-way-done. The indicator shows where the opener thinks the garage door trolley is on its path, so I moved the trolley to where the opener thought it was, and equalized the up and down forces, and the opener now works without a problem. Ace's helpful diagnosis allowed me to do the repair myself, at no cost. It speaks well for Ace's professionalism when they'll find the easiest way for the customer, even if it means they'll lose some repair work.

Tom was very responsive and thorough in explanation. He couldn't do it for us immediately as he had to travel at that time; however, he called us as soon as he got back. He also told us how to do garage door maintenance. I would definitely use his service again if needed.

It went great! He replaced the faulty door opener with a new model which he recommended due to its track record. The door works just fine. He was prompt, courteous, responsive -- and his wife was expecting a baby at any moment!!!

The day before, my garage door opener of 17 years stopped working. I called up Tom to see when he could come by. He had time same day. He explained what he thought it was, but said he would confirm. He came right on time and his quote came in as what he estimated. Great, great experience.

We talked about replacing the door springs, which are ten years old. He did not pressure me to have the work done and helped me to make a decision about replacing them rather than wait for them to break. All in all, this was a very positive experience. I will have Tom back after the winter season to do the spring replacement.

I can't speak highly enough about this experience! I called late morning of 02/06/15 and told Tom (owner and installer) about the problem I was having. He came out at about 3:40 the same day, diagnosed the problem and gave me choices as to how the repair could be made. I elected to have a new system installed as repairing the 14+ year old system was a little over half the cost of a new one. He arrived about 8:30 the next morning, installed the new system and was gone in less than 1.5 hours. He even gave me a 10% senior discount. Tom is professional, knowledgeable, and very nice to deal with.

Signed up online. Thought the sign up didn't register so I was surprised to receive a call from him. Arranged for my son to meet him for access. My son was pleased and so was I.

The company worked around my schedule and fit me in that very day. The rollers were replaced quickly and easily. They were patient and explained the problem and why what he was doing would fix it. 5 months later and there are no problems.

Tom arrived on schedule and completed the installation quickly. I was extremely pleased with the quality, cost and professionalism of Ace Overhead Door and would recommend them to anyone who may be looking for a new installation, replacement, or door service.

Except for a slight miscommunication, the installation went as planned. Tom arrived on time, had all equipment he needed and took the time to inspect my other garage door and opener. He was accommodating and easy to work with. I would recommend him to anyone at any time. He also made a suggestion regarding my electrical hookup for both garage doors for which I am grateful.

Provider was late upon arrival. After making his adjustments (which we did not ask him to do) and going over the different types of garage doors (we told him we wanted basic of the basic as the garage door is under the house and does not face the street) he provided us with a quote of just shy of $900!! That was only to replace door and hardware, we are keeping the opener. I nearly died from that, then he wanted $20 for his "adjustments"! A big no thank you.

Tom was wonderful. The problem was a simple fix and Tom told me so instead of overcharging for work that need not be done. While he was there, he did spend 20 min. to do some minor, but important, tuning up of the opener. it hadn't been adjusted for many years. And he basically only charged for the visit! He was very prompt, punctual, professional, and basically nice! I would definitely use him again.

Tom called and scheduled the appointment immediately. Arrived exactly when he said he would. Listened to my explanation of my problem. Quickly and quietly performed all the services needed and explained to me why I had the problem I was having and how he fixed it. Tom also explained to me the manner in which I should maintain the doors monthly. Tom was very profession, nice and did not leave a mess of any kind.

He called before his arrival, arrived on time, diagnosed the problem I was having with my both my door and door opener and gave me suggestions for the repairs. I felt confident with his advice and am completely satisfied with his craftsmanship and the end result. His price was more than fair and I would highly recommend him to anyone. Total professional.
